Downtown and Ralston Park clean-up May 20

The Lebanon Downtown Association and the City of Lebanon are getting ready for the annual Community Pride Day on May 20.

Volunteers are invited to help get downtown Lebanon and Ralston Park ready for the Strawberry Festival and Concerts in the Park.

The work will start 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 20 at Ralston Park. Volunteers may arrive at 8 a.m. if desired.

Community Pride Day is an annual event organized by the Lebanon Downtown Association.

LDA was recognized by the Lebanon 2040 Vision and Strategic Action Plan as an essential part of Lebanon’s vision to be a friendly and thriving community.

With Community Pride Day, LDA seeks to celebrate the spirit of Lebanon by bringing people together to improve the town.

Volunteers will be organized into teams upon registration and will be directed to either a downtown or Ralston Park location depending on the selected tasks.

Limited tools and supplies will be provided. Volunteers should bring their own work wear and sturdy gloves.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools and supplies as well.

Morning snacks will be available and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
