Franklin Street will be closed to through traffic between River Road and Russell Drive through most of the summer, Lebanon’s Engineering Department announced earlier this month.
The closure will allow contractors to install utilities and road improvements for the newly approved Franklin Grove Subdivision. Work started June 19 and is expected to last through Sept. 1.
The area can be detoured via Mountain River Drive, Park Drive, Garvord Street and River Drive, or vice versa.
