This bearded crew smiled knowingly as members of the Frontier Days Sheriff’s Posse considered types of punishment to be handed out to violators of the “no shave and pioneer dress” rules enforced in 1951.

Frontier Days’ annual Buckaroo Breakfast will be sited this year at the city park for the first time. It is expected to be a better experience than standing or eating off curbs. The FD committee also voted to purchase rain insurance for the breakfast and carnival, in case weather deems that a particular time to let loose .05 inches or more of rain that day.
