UPDATE: Flaggers will be posted at the intersection of 12th and Oak streets, beginning Tuesday, March 8, to help alleviate traffic congestion for motorists accessing
Oak Street to Highway 34. The intersection will be monitored closely, and flaggers
will remain in place during peak traffic times if necessary.
Airport Road will be closed to through traffic from 12th Street to the intersection of Denny School Road and Oak Street beginning Monday, March 7, to allow construction work for the city’s Westside Sanitary Interceptor Project.
The City of Lebanon’s contractor for the project, Emery & Sons Construction is installing a new 30-inch sanitary sewer pipe. It is anticipated that the closure will last for two weeks. Airport Road will open to traffic on or about March 18th. A detour
route will be in place to guide motorists around the closure.
Additionally, Stoltz Hill Road will remain closed until April 15th to through traffic between Walker Road and Vaughan Lane for the construction of a new 30-inch sanitary sewer pipe. A detour route is currently in place to guide motorists around the Stoltz Hill Road work
zone.
Residents within the impacted area will be afforded reasonable access, but should expect short periods of time when access to individual driveways may not be possible, in addition to periodic delays and other construction related inconveniences.
