A trail walk on the newly named Northside Community Trail in Lebanon will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, beginning in the Boulder Falls Conference Center parking lot, next door to the Best Western Boulder Falls Inn, 505 Mullins Drive.
The event is organized by Build Lebanon Trails. Look for the BLT event signs.
A series of connected trails that cross Lebanon from the east side of town to the west was recently named the Northside Community Trail. This walk will cover part of that unified trail, heading east to the end and back again. Total distance out and back is approximately three miles. Shuttles will be available at the east end for those who don’t want to make the return trip. The trail is flat and paved.
Participants can use listening devices along the way to hear about features of the trail, which include some scenic waterside vistas and wildlife viewing areas. To reserve a listening device, 8:45 a.m. arrival is recommended.
Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather. Well mannered and leashed dogs are welcome.
