The Lebanon Police Department responded to a reported bomb threat on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at approximately 10:28 p.m. at Walmart. The building had been evacuated by the time officers arrived and, once on scene, they learned of a possible bomb somewhere inside the store.
The Oregon State Police Bomb Squad assisted in the search. After nothing suspicious was located, the store was turned back over to Walmart management, and normal operations of the business resumed.
