The City Council voted unanimously on Aug. 5 to terminate the contract between the City of Lebanon and Jacobs Engineering, which operates and manages the wastewater treatment facility.
The council voted last year to pursue all legal remedies against CH2M Hill and Operations Management International, Inc. for failure to succeed in its promises regarding the “Cannibal Process.” Jacobs Engineering purchased CH2M Hill and OMI in 2017 and has since operated the Lebanon plant.
