City seeks Budget Committee members

The City of Lebanon is seeking interested persons to fill three vacant positions on the Lebanon Budget Committee.

Two candidates are needed from Ward 1, and one candidate from Ward 3. Candidates must reside within the city limits and in the appropriate wards, 1 or 3. A city boundary and ward map is available on the city’s website at www.ci.lebanon.or.us – Helpful Resources>View>Maps.

The Budget Committee develops budget recommendations for City Council action and approves the city’s tax rate. Members serve a three-year term and receive no compensation.

The committee meets one to four times every May. This year’s meetings are scheduled for noon on May 2, 3 and 4.
