COUNTRY Financial representatives Adrienne Irwin and Travis Luttmer were recognized during the Oregon Jamboree Kickoff Night on Thursday, Aug. 1, for their contributions to Sweet Home High School and Lebanon Police Department. In addition to donating to these organizations that will be assisting in this year’s musical gathering, COUNTRY Financial announced it is also supporting the Jamboree through a partnership.
With representatives serving clients throughout Oregon, COUNTRY Financial commits to supporting its communities through efforts such as Oregon Jamboree. Twenty three agents in COUNTRY Financial’s Willamette Valley Agency are taking the lead on being present at the Jamboree, as the event takes place in their community.
“We believe in the power of local agents in local communities,” said Gina Defa White, Salem agency manager. “COUNTRY Financial seeks to enrich the lives of those we serve, helping clients experience more. Whether it’s in Sweet Home, Lebanon, Albany, Corvallis, Salem or the surrounding areas throughout Oregon, this is the kind of positive impact we want to make here.”
In addition to COUNTRY Financial’s overall sponsorship of the event, the company focused on helping two on-the-ground resources associated with the Jamboree, the Sweet Home High School and Lebanon Police Department. With this in mind, two locally based agents stepped up and provided supplemental community assistance.
Irwin donated $2,000 to the Lebanon Police Department for its wellness program. The LPD, along with other local law enforcement, will provide event and emergency response support during the Jamboree.
“The department does so much to protect and preserve the quality of life here – including their invaluable support of the Jamboree,” Irwin said. “I’m gratified to be able to extend our thanks for their continued good works.”
During the past three years, Irwin also rented out the Santiam Excursion Train for use by first responders, teachers and veterans. She is a member of the Lebanon Optimist Club and a volunteer for the club’s Strawberry Festival Annual Pancake Breakfast. Irwin is also a Lebanon Chamber Member Ambassador and sits on the Family Tree Relief Nursery Board where she sponsors a child each year for their Season of Giving event. Each year, Irwin donates $2,000 to the YMCA for their Christmas gala.
Luttmer donated $2,000 to support Sweet Home High School’s football program. This year, he also provided $1,000 in support for the baseball team and another $1,000 for the band program.
“High school athletics are important gathering places and unifiers for our community,” Luttmer said . “It’s my pleasure to be able to give back – a spirit that permeates the entire Oregon Jamboree event.”
