Cut the Gut car cruise arrives in Sweet Home Friday

Registration is open for the ninth Annual Icebox Cut the Gut Car Cruise, taking place in downtown Sweet Home on Friday, July 10.

Hosted by the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, this event welcomes all makes, models, and years of vehicles.

Participants who purchase a $25 Registration Passport will enjoy access to 19 official checkpoints located throughout Sweet Home. At each checkpoint, participants can collect passport stamps while enjoying games, activities, giveaways, and swag.

This year’s event features a $500 cash grand prize and additional raffle prizes donated by Sweet Home Chamber member businesses.

Registered participants who complete and submit their passport or raffle entry at the end of the evening will be eligible for the prize drawings.

Each Registration Passport includes:

  • Official 2026 commemorative Cut the Gut Passport.
  • Access to all 19 official checkpoints
  • Sponsor swag and registration bag goodies
  • A commemorative 2026 Foundry Tag for the first 300 registered participants
  • Eligibility for raffle prizes, including the $500 cash drawing

Participants may also purchase official event merchandise during registration, including standard T-shirts, hoodies, women’s fitted T-shirts and tank tops, hats, and commemorative tumblers.

“We’re excited to welcome both returning participants and first-time cruisers to Sweet Home for another fun evening,” said Lagea Mull, chamber executive director.

“The Registration Passport makes the event interactive by encouraging participants to explore the community, visit local businesses and organizations, and enjoy everything our checkpoint hosts have planned. It’s a fun way to experience Sweet Home while supporting the businesses and volunteers who make this event possible.”

Online registration is available through Wednesday, July 8, at CutTheGutCruise.com. In-person registration is offered at the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce, 1575 Main Street, during regular business hours while passports remain available. If passports are still available after online and in-person registration closes, participants may register at the event check-in table starting at 5 p.m. on Friday.

Cruising begins at 6 p.m. in downtown Sweet Home. The event will take place rain or shine.
