Local blind and deaf cyclist Richard Hagan will speak at the Oct. 19 meeting of the Mid Valley Low Vision Support Group at Brookdale Grand Prairie Senior Living, 1929 Grand Prairie Road, Albany.
The event will begin at 2 p.m.
Hagan cycled 5,000 miles from Yorktown, Va. to Florence, accompanied by two guide cyclists and meeting a goal of cycling through seven states, several national parks and many small rural communities.
