Steve W. Hyder, 72, of Chehalis, Wash., a former Lebanon resident, died Sept. 26, 2024.
He grew up in Lacomb in an extended logging family and was a 1970 graduate of Lebanon Union High School. He started logging out of high school for Willamette Industries on Snow Peak, and was a cutter for 45 years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
