Fire damages shed on Cascadia Drive, kills two dogs

Lebanon Fire District personnel responded early Wednesday, Jan. 18, to a burning shed in the 400 block of Cascade Drive.

After being dispatched at 6:58 a.m., the first arriving officer reported a shed fully involved in fire.  Access to the shed was difficult due to multiple vehicles and items in the yard.

The fire was contained by 7:18 a.m., but crews remained on the scene completing mop-up operations until 8:35 a.m.. Fire investigators were unable to determine the cause of the fire due to the significant damage that occurred in the shed.  No humans were harmed in the fire, but two pet dogs perished.

Lebanon Fire responded with 12 apparatus and 28 personnel.
