Hillman named Seven Oak interim principal

Mike Hillman was named interim principal of Seven Oak Middle School, the Lebanon Community School District announced on April 17.

The LCSD Board of Directors will be asked to formally approve Hillman’s appointment at its April 26 meeting.

Hillman has worked in the district since 2012 and has a Master’s Degree in Education.

Former Seven Oak principal Wayne Reposa resigned Jan. 30, the first day of the new semester. He is taking voluntary personal leave, which is paid, for the remainder of the school year.

The district is conducting a recruitment process for a permanent principal at Seven Oak Middle School, according to an April 17 news release.

Superintendent Rob Hess expects to provide his formal recommendation for the permanent position to the Board on June 8, with a request for approval of the appointment on the Board’s June 14 meeting agenda, according to the release.

Mr. Hillman will serve as Interim Principal of Seven Oak Middle School through June 30, 2018.
