4:43 a.m. – Kristi Denise Cooley, 52, of Lebanon, cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass and obstructing governmental or judicial administration after, according to Sheriff’s Office, she was “combative” after being stopped with juvenile female in Bi-Mart parking lot while store was closed. 5:02 a.m. – Kenneth Saylor, 36, of Lebanon, arrested on multiple warrants, 500 block Weldwood Dr. Report taken.
7:49 a.m. – Bow hunter arrived prior to daylight in 37600 block Middle Ridge Dr. and did not notice sign that area was closed. He had been in the week prior to land closing down. When approached by deputy, hunter apologized and was given Cascade Timber Consulting website to monitor for when it would reopen. He was warned that he could be cited if CTC desired.
8:37 a.m. – Caller reported a dog bit his dog at the dog park.
9:56 a.m. – Deputies checked welfare of elderly male in 30400 block Rancho Rd. after concerned caller had been unable to get hold of him. Deputies discovered that male had changed his phone number, but was in good health.
10:18 a.m. – An elderly male client with PTSD attacked staff when they tried separating him from a female client.
11:33 a.m. – Caller said they gave a gas attendant $20 for gas but only $10-worth was put in the tank and she didn’t even get her change back, Main St. Attendant said he was certain he gave her the $10 change, but he will apologize if he finds his till is over $10 at the end of the day.

8:01 a.m. – Deputies performed welfare check in 100 block of Russell St. after caller indicated concerns about neighbor whom they had not seen for a few days. Deputies determined that neighbor was in the hospital.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported a male laying on the ground “enjoying himself” near James Gang Pizza.

7:25 a.m. – Caller reported (sound of) multiple fireworks north of town. Responding officer determined it is opening day of goose season and found hunters had been shooting geese.
7:12 a.m. – Ryan Wilson was taken into custody for going through a dumpster, Primrose St., and was cited for a Lebanon Municipal warrant for harassment.
8:19 a.m. – Caller reported a female sleeping in a pickup that was on and parked partly on the curb, 7th St. The caller was unable to wake her up. Medics woke her up. Tezleigh Senter, 32, was cited for a Linn County Circuit warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of reckless driving and DUII.
8:25 a.m. – Caller reported theft of bow, binoculars, hunting bag and range finder from locked car, H St. Loss valued at $1,470.

11:08 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking in the street, talking to himself and yelling, Main St. He was walking in circles, plugging his ears and screaming, and ran in front of a car. Responding officer contacted James Frank Newport, 33, and determined he seemed to be experiencing a negative reaction to cocaine. Remaining cocaine in viles was seized and disposed of. Medics examined Newport and he was given a ride home.

7:40 a.m. – Caller said two dogs attacked her and her small dog, Market St. Owners were found and cited for dog at large.
8:47 a.m. – Deputies spoke with caller who came upon small smoldering fire in 35100 block Ede Rd. Most likely caused by cigarette.
11:56 a.m. – Caller reported someone dumped a 50 gallon metal drum in the parking lot, Airway Rd. They didn’t want to touch it because “they have seen too many horror movies.” Responding officer found it contained remnants of burnt garbage.
12:12 p.m. – Caller reported dog at large, Mazama Ave. Dog owner was located.

11:10 p.m. – Caller reported an unknown female began yelling and chasing him while he was in the Shanico parking lot. He ran, barefoot, to the canal, through a field and into the Lesita parking lot, and he fell a few times. Female never caught up to him and he doesn’t know why she chased him.

12:21 a.m. – Deputy checked Camp Tamor after dispatcher received several 911 hangups, but heard only talking and laughter. No signs of trouble. 43900 block McDowell Creek Dr.
12:45 a.m. – Report taken for police officer hold, Tangent St. Caller reported an intoxicated female trying to fight people. Natayha Moore was transported to the hospital on a POH.
4:20 a.m. – Nicholas Gene Ford, 35, of Lebanon, arrested on outstanding parole board warrant after being contacted by deputy regarding littering outside Lebanon Burger King, 2100 S. Santiam Hwy. Lodged at Linn County Jail.
8:35 a.m. – Caller reported hit and run, 5th St. A white sedan allegedly hit a stop sign. It was replaced with a temporary sign for now.
8:45 a.m. – Sheri Yvonne Bower, 50, was cited for a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.
9:37 a.m. – Vehicle crash reported in 39300 block Plagman Dr. Vehicle left roadway, rolled into tree. According to Sheriff’s Office, 16-year-old male was driving a 1998 Mazda B40 when he took a corner too fast and slid off the roadway and crashed into a tree, totaling the car. He called his mother first, who was on scene when deputies arrived. No injuries. Vehicle removed. Report taken.

2:44 p.m. – An employee at an unknown location on Oak St. called for help for “multiple subjects in behavior.” One female was trying to jump the fence, one female was in the yard with a stick, and a large male was verbally aggressive. Report taken.
3:04 p.m. – Caller reported that County Parks maintenance yard fence was cut in attempt to enter yard, 39500 block Gross St., Waterloo.
3:17 p.m. – Officer responded to call about a male trying to assault people, Oak St. The male was calm when he arrived.
4:53 p.m. – Caller reported she was hit in shoe and leg by a pellet gun, Grant St. As caller was walking on the bridge, a light blue car with three or more juveniles drove by and shot her with a pellet gun. She believes it was part of a TikTok toy gun drive-by shooting challenge.
5:41 p.m. – Caleb Bullock, 19, of Corvallis, cited for speeding, 81/55, 35200 block Hwy. 34.
10:43 p.m. – Bryan Pryor, 55, of Albany, cited for driving while suspended and on two warrants following traffic stop for allegedly driving a vehicle with no front license plate and registration that had expired in 2020. 2400 block S. Santiam Hwy.
10:44 p.m. – Caller reported that window was broken out of his vehicle sometime during past few hours, backpack stolen. Backpack valued at $15, window valued at $500. 36600 block W. Airport Rd.
Sept. 2
1:07 a.m. – Keith McGaffie, 41, of Corvallis, cited for speeding, 78/55, 35200 block Hwy. 34.
5:44 a.m. – Christopher Gerard Coultas, 40, was cited for an Albany Municipal Court warrant for criminal trespass II.
8:00 a.m. – Report taken for dogs at large, Market St. Caller brought in two found dogs. The owner was cited for dog-at-large, and it was noted “multiple recent instances of these dogs getting out.”
8:07 a.m. – Officer responded to a cold domestic disturbance, Vine St. Wife said she doesn’t feel safe going home.
9:26 a.m. – Jessica Jones was cited for trespassing, Sherman St. Caller at location said Jones has been sticking her head in the door where she has a lifetime trespass and is yelling then running off.
10:48 a.m. – Report taken for found stolen utility trailer. A caller saw a male drilling a hole into the side of a trailer in the parking lot by Carl’s Jr. Officer ran the license plate on the trailer and contacted the owner, who said he last saw his trailer three weeks ago in his barn but didn’t know it was missing. Owner and officer recovered the trailer.
10:59 a.m. – Officer retrieved one of two loose dogs at Marks Slough Trail and contacted the owner.
11:03 a.m. – Caller reported packages were delivered to their neighbor who refused to turn them over, 10th St.
11:17 a.m. – Caller reported that their trailer had been stolen from Walmart parking lot. According to Sheriff’s Office, a 21-foot-flatbed trailer that was dropped in the Lebanon Walmart parking lot. Unknown when it was stolen. Owner didn’t know until LPD recovered the trailer. Investigation ongoing. Report taken. 29100 block Sodaville Mountain Home Rd.
1:03 p.m. – Caller reported a barking dog in a truck for at least two hours with windows cracked, 10th St. Officer located the dog inside a camper. It was barking and he heard a voice in the camper, as well. Dog didn’t seem distressed.
1:16 p.m. – Officer responded to call about two dogs at large, Cascade Dr. He located the dogs, which went through a hole to the other side of a fence. Officer attempted to contact that residence.
8:59 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle stolen out of driveway in 36200 block Rock Hill Dr. Light blue 2010 Subaru Legacy was later recovered by a Sheriff’s deputy. Jeffery McNees, 29, of Lebanon was arrested in the car along with other charges. Report taken.
9:20 p.m. – Caller reported her roommate locked her in her room by tying the door shut with a rope, 7th St. She had a recently expired restraining order on him, and he accused her of stealing his property.
