Registration and first rehearsal for the Lebanon Community Chorus’ Spring Pops Concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan.12, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 3111 S. Main Rd., Lebanon.
Rehearsals start promptly at 7 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. every Thursday evening.
2017. All singers 18 years of age and older, regardless of experience, are encouraged to participate.
Under the direction of Ray Hendricks, the chorus will be concluding its 50th season on Sunday, April 30, with a concert that features selections from “West Side Story” as well as “Pure Imagination” from “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory;” “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen; “Under the Boardwalk,” made famous by Bette Midler; and “What a Wonderful World” a favorite from the soundtrack of “Good Morning, Vietnam.”
Spring season dues are $20; scholarships are available. The LCC is a fun and diverse group of people who enjoy singing in a comfortable and supportive environment.
