A 23-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning, April 13, after Lebanon police discovered an unconscious man whom officers determined had been attacked.
Police responded at approximately 11:45 p.m. Saturday, April 12, to a report of an assault in the 800 block of South 12th Street in Lebanon to find an
unconscious male victim with severe facial injuries.
Lebanon Fire Department medics responded, rendered aid at the scene, and transported the victim to Lebanon
Community Hospital for further treatment.
During their investigation, officers identified Troy Steven Williamson, 23, as the suspect. Williamson was taken into custody by police and charged with second-degree assault. Williamson is also listed as having a probation violation. He was lodged at Linn County Jail.
The Lebanon Police Department had had prior contacts with Williamson, but no interactions associated with the listed charge.
