Jeffrey James Allen, 43, was arrested on four counts of first-degree sex abuse, one count of first-degree attempted unlawful sexual penetration, two counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, and one count of first-degree attempted rape.
Allen was taken into custody at approximately 10:10 a.m. on May 10 at his place of employment in Gilchrist, Oregon.
Allen attempted to flee, then fought with officers while they were trying to take him into custody. Additional charges are expected to follow.
Allen’s arrest is the result of an investigation that stemmed from a report that Allen had inappropriate contact with a minor between 2007 and 2009.
During the course of the investigation, one additional victim was identified. Both victims were minors at the time of the alleged crimes and were known to Allen.
The alleged crimes occurred at several different residences within Lebanon and the surrounding area.
The Lebanon Police Department has had multiple contacts with Allen dating back to 1994.
Allen has had prior law enforcement contacts in regards to traffic violations, domestic disturbances, and an assault.
This is an ongoing investigation.
