Manufactured home collapses from fire

The Lebanon Fire District responded to a structure fire in the 33000 block of Ford Mill Road at approximately 2:42 p.m. on Friday, May 12.

When initial units arrived, they found an unoccupied single wide manufactured home that had collapsed from structural failure from the fire. Crews worked for approximately 30 minutes to fully extinguish the remaining fire.

LFD responded with 23 personnel on 10 apparatus, and were assisted by Albany Fire to provide coverage to the district during the event.

Lebanon Fire would like to remind everyone to provide plenty of distance from structures when having outdoor fires or when back yard burning. All outdoor fires should be continuously monitored, and on-site water should be available to prevent the fire from spreading.
