Mason Mathew Flores

Oct. 5, 2010 – Oct. 5, 2026

Mason Mathew Flores, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on Oct. 5, 2026, on his 16th birthday.

Mason was born on Oct. 5, 2010, and although his life was far too short, he brought love, laughter, and countless cherished memories to the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Mason had a passion for sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed playing basketball, football, and baseball. He especially loved spending time fishing. He also enjoyed the fun and friendly competition of yard games, including ladder toss and cornhole.

Mason had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Mason was known for his love of shoes. A true “shoe junkie,” he took pride in his collection and always appreciated a great pair of shoes. It was one of the many things that made him uniquely Mason.

He is survived by his mother, Jenna Anderson; father and stepmother, Daniel and Megan Flores; stepsister Rylie Noonchester; brothers Avery and Elijah Flores; maternal grandmother Bev Hay; paternal grandmother Linda Flores; aunt Leslie Anderson; uncle  Zack Graber; aunt and uncle Brandi and Jody Williamson; aunt and uncle Becca and Dan Wilson; cousins Justin and Emma Graber, Gracie Hamilton, Allie Wilson and Colton Pickett; along with extended family and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry Hay; and paternal grandfather, Dan Flores.

Mason’s absence leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him. Sixteen years was not nearly enough time, but within those years he created a lifetime of memories that will never be forgotten. His family will forever remember the joy he brought into their lives, the things he loves, the laughter he shared, and the moments that made him who he was.

Though we cannot hold him in our arms, Mason will forever remain in the hearts of his family and everyone who loved him. His life will continue through the stories we tell, the memories we cherish, and the love that will never fade. He was deeply loved, is profoundly missed, and will be forever remembered.

Rest peacefully, Mason. You will be loved for all the days to come.

Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Sweet Home Husky Field Stadium.
