Saturday, June 23 – The Summer Bands and Brews music series presents Rudolf Korv and the Jimmy Haggard Band from 6 to 10 p.m.  at Strawberry Plaza, 833 S. Main St.

Rudolf Korv performs soulful, bluesy Americana and the Jimmy Haggard Band plays heavy modern blues rock.

Sponsored by downtown businesses, the event is free and there is no age requirement; everyone is welcome. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at each Saturday concert.

Sunday, June 24 – The Point begins its Summer Concert Series with performances by the Van Rontens and McDougall at 6305 Highway 20 in Sweet Home, next to Foster Lake.

Music begins around 6 p.m.

The Portland-based Van Rontens play a fusion of folk, funk, grass and gypsy roots – “Iron and Wine meets Modest Mouse, with crystal clear female lead vocals” from lead singer Melodie Ayres.

McDougall, also of Portland, is a “a one-man orchestra” who plays a variety of instruments, often at the same time as he sings songs and tells stories.

Sunday, July 1 – The Point  Summer Concert Series presents Ty Curtis  at 6305 Highway 20 in Sweet Home, next to Foster Lake.

Performances start around 6 p.m.

Curtis, of Salem, plays bluesy throwback rock ’n’ roll “with an undeniable southern-fried ambiance.” His rendition of “5 Long Years” by Eddie Boyd earned his band second place in The International Blues Challenge and led to performances at The Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada and the St John Blues Festival USVI.

Saturday, July 7 – The Summer Bands and Brews music series presents local rising star Jobe Woosley & Co. from 6 to 10 p.m.  at Strawberry Plaza, 833 S. Main St.

A regular performer in local venues, Woosley hails from east Linn County, and has made a name for himself in acoustic Americana. Last year he released “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” a collection of his latest original songs.

Sunday, July 8 – The Point  Summer Concert Series presents Briana Renea  at 6305 Highway 20 in Sweet Home, next to Foster Lake.

Performances start around 6 p.m.

A native of Canby, Renea sings original country music about real-life experiences happening around her. She has traveled and entertained country fans throughout the Northwest, and shared the stage with notable acts such as Joe Nichols, Old Dominion, Canaan Smith and Sammy Kershaw.

Tuesday, July 10 – Lebanon’s Concerts in the Parks series kicks off with Thunder Road from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ralston Park, on the corner of Maple and Park streets.

Thunder Road, a five-member group from Salem, performs country, classic rock and blues. The event is free.

Friday, July 13 – James Wright will sing and play acoustic guitar as part of the Lebanon Arts Commission noontime series at Strawberry Plaza.

Grab your lunch and a chair and stop by for some summertime fun.

Friday, July 13 – Marks Ridge Winery kicks off its summer concert series with blues guitar artist Froggy at 7 p.m. at 29255 Berlin Road.

Bring your own picnic or snacks and enjoy open air seating at bistro tables or bring a chair or blanket.

The concert is the first of weekly Friday night offerings through August at the winery, which will feature a wide range of musical styles. Cover is $10 per person. No outside alcohol is allowed.

 Saturday, July 14 – The Summer Bands and Brews music series presents blues band Louis Creed and the Geezers from 6 to 10 p.m.  at Strawberry Plaza, 833 S. Main St.

Tuesday, July 17 – Lebanon’s Concerts in the Parks series will present Barbara Cecil from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ralston Park, on the corner of Maple and Park streets.

Cecil, of Portland, performs her own original country music along with country top hits. The event is free.

July 26-29  The Guitars Under the Stars music festival returns to Lebanon, beginning 4 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Cheadle Lake Park, 37919 Weirich Drive.

GUTS includes live interactive guitar clinics and full length live performances, a 50-foot water slide, car show, fire dancers, disc golf hole-in-one challenge, and food, beer and music vendors.

Tent camping and RV spaces are available. Single day pass is $18, or $43 to include VIP; weekend pass is $40 to $65; camping costs extra.
