New York man arrested after Lebanon parent finds him in daughter’s bedroom

A New York man was arrested on multiple sex charges Friday, July 1, after a parent reported finding an adult male inside his 11-year-old daughter’s bedroom in Lebanon.

Lebanon police responded at approximately 7 a.m. to the 3200 block of Oak Terrace Drive, according to a LPD report.

Police identified the man as 22-year-old Albert Guo. According to LPD, subsequent investigation revealed that Guo established an online relationship with the juvenile female, and had flown from his home state of New York to Oregon to ultimately meet her.

Police arrested Guo on charges of first-degree sex abuse, two counts of first-degree sodomy and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. Guo was lodged at the Linn County Jail.

The Lebanon Police Department is reminding parents to be mindful of the sites their children are visiting and vigilant in overseeing their internet usage.
