Obituary of Stan W. Walker

November 4th 1958 – May 9th 2024 

Stan W. Walker of Sweet Home passed away May 9, 2024. He was born on November 4, 1958 to Thomas “Toad” Walker and Evelyn “Ewing” Walker. Stan is a member of The Odd Fellows of Lebanon and The Mens Golf Club at Pineway in Lebanon.

Stan Lived most of his life in Sweet Home and a few years in Lebanon. As a teenager he worked at Hilltop Market and Truax in Sweet Home. He worked 16 years at Willamette Industries Foster Division and 20 years driving redi-mix for Knife River and finishing his career at the Sweet Home School District.

Stan loved his first car, his 1964’ Ford Fairlane. It doesn’t run but he still has it, and bass fishing on the Umpqua River. Stan is survived by his wife of 38 years, Emily “Danielson” Walker of Sweet home, his children Nikolas (Angela) Walker of Springfield, Mckenzie (Morgan) Walker of Springfield, Amber Smith of Kiezer; His brothers Jeff (Sharon) Walker of Silverton, Tom (Sheri) Walker of Lebanon, Tim (Star) Walker of Sweet Home, his Sisters: Karen (Kim) Olson of Lebanon, Veronica (Marvin) Moe of Lebanon. Stan is also survived by his first wife Toy (David) Royer of Sweet Home, Two granddaughters, Paige and Madison Walker of Springfield; many nieces and nephews, Yeti his 6 toed cat. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas “Toad” Walker and Evelyn “Ewing” Walker. His favorite Uncle Bob who he would visit often and Nephew Kelly Walker. His best dog “Chow Chow” Harvey. Stan passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Maui Hawaii.
