12:38 a.m. – Buzz Star Dodson, 25, was cited and released for criminal driving and on a Hood River County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge, Elm St./Mountain View Road. Also cited for driving uninsured and expired registration.

3:31 p.m. – Deputy assisted U.S. Forest Service law enforcement with an abandoned snowmobile, 60500 block of Hwy. 20. It was left parked on the U.S. Forest Road that runs through Cascade Timber Consulting property in the Lava Lake area,

3:48 p.m. – Kayci Flaska, 22, of Lebanon, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone, 46200 block of Quartzville Road.

9:18 p.m. – Timothy Coon, 45, of Sweet Home, cited for operating a vehicle without valid privileges, 27600 block of Hwy. 20.

10:51 p.m. – Belinda Lee Anson, 52, was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 4200 block of Long St.

May 28

12:40 a.m. – Dustin Wolfgang Furry, 23, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest, Albany Police Department.

1:32 a.m. – Amanda Leah Binks, 30, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.

12:21 p.m. – Manuel Urich, 51 of Corvallis, was cited for no personal flotation device on personal watercraft on Foster Lake. Report taken.

1:26 p.m. – A boat fire was reported on Foster Lake. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office arrived to find everyone safe and the fire extinguished before much damage was done.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported a customer refusing to leave, Bohemian Club, 1025 Long St. Stephanie Dianne Banta Butte, 52, was cited and released for second-degree criminal mischief.

2:35 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen dog harness, 250 block of Main St. Report taken for third-degree theft. Value: $36.99.

2:49 p.m. – Sheriff’s Office cited four people, one for expired tags and three for not having flotation devices, including one without a Type IV throwable device required on boats 16 or more feet in length. Full names of individuals were not available. Report taken.

4:04 p.m. – Karen Felgentraeger, 56, was arrested for DUII and reckless driving. According to the Sheriff’s Office, she was driving a 2003 Mazda Protégé when she nearly hit a patrol vehicle head-on while driving in the 45300 block of Quartzville Road. Two vehicles behind were also nearly hit.

6:15 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen bicycle, 4400 block of Ninebark Loop. Report taken for first-degree theft. Approximate value: $3,500.

10:36 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Riddle, 25, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Albany Police Department.

May 29

2:20 a.m. – Mikeal Gerald Patrick Strawn, 27, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, 5500 block of Nandina St.

10:16 a.m. – Christopher Bacorn-Renoud, 31, of Sweet Home, was arrested for contempt of court and lodged at Linn County Jail, 40300 block of Holley Heights Loop. Report taken.

10:36 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office took a female into custody on a police officer hold after an attempted overdose, 27500 block of Riggs Hill Road. Report taken.

10:57 a.m. – Caller reported stolen tools, 1100 block of 23rd Ave. Report taken for first-degree theft. Estimated value: $2,000.

1:46 p.m. – Miguel Zavala, 39, of Albany, was cited for having no life jacket on Green Peter Reservoir, 47700 block of Quartzville Road. Report taken.

2:16 p.m. – Caller reported concerns about people near a log jam on Foster Lake near Sunnyside Boat Ramp. Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District and Sheriff’s Office responded but determined that there was no danger and no one in need of assistance.

2:28 p.m. – Gregory Allen Tibbs, 55, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.

2:28 p.m. – The Sheriff’s Office investigated a camping situation on the south shore of Green Peter Reservoir. The area has boat-in camping on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers land, but this camp was on CTC land and occupants were reported to be in a vehicle. A male with his children had set up camp, but all the gates to this area are locked to prohibit trespassing. The Sheriff’s Office was investigating how the campers got into the area and to identify them, as they were not located when deputies arrived by boat. Under investigation.

3:02 p.m. – Deputies patrolling Weyerhaeuser property in the 41700 block of Upper Calapooia Drive found some two dozen individuals at popular swimming spots on Weyerhaeuser land. All were warned for trespassing and told to move along.

5:06 p.m. – Deputy located an abandoned camp on BLM land in the 50500 block of Quartzville Road. Heavily littered. Investigation continuing.

5:12 p.m. – Deputy contacted a male and female illegally camped on BLM land in the 50500 block of Quartzville Road. They were advised to vacate the site immediately.

5:32 p.m. – Robby Jacob Evans was cited for driving with a suspended license, 2200 block of Main St.

5:53 p.m. – Andrea Torres, 30, of Albany, was cited for having no boater’s education card on Foster Lake, 43700 block of North River Drive. Report taken.

7:40 p.m. – Jeramy Wesley Babb, 49, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, 2400 block of Long St.

8:22 p.m. – Vehicles illegally parked near the Quartzville Bridge were cited, 44700 block of Quartzville Road.

9:03 p.m. – An unknown male fled from deputies on an ATV while traveling on Old Holley Road. Deputies lost sight of him as he sped off. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

May 30

7:37 a.m. – Occupants of a vehicle camped alongside the road in the 38400 block of Glass St., Crawfordsville, were advised to move along.

7:49 a.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 59, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany Police Department.

7:59 a.m. – Sarah Ryan, 25, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree child neglect, 3900 block of Osage St.

8:27 a.m. – Caller reported a female had stolen two gallons of milk, Thriftway, 621 Main St. Chelsie Baxter, 34, was cited and released for third-degree theft.

9:40 a.m. – Joshua Appleberry, 28, of Sweet Home, was cited for speeding, 27700 block of Hwy. 20.

10:54 a.m. – Caller wanted to report family members missing, then found them camping, 45000 block of Quartzville Road.

3:55 p.m. – Joann Holden, 58, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 1900 block of Main St.

5:05 p.m. – Benjamin Philip Hyatt, 44, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon Police Department.

6:46 p.m. – Eric Wayne Steadman, 47, was cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt and on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation, 1200 block of 13th Ave. Also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving uninsured and speeding, 39/25.

8:46 p.m. – Aaron Michael Looney, 31, was cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge and driving under the influence of intoxicants, 1480 block of 42nd Ave.

10:38 p.m. – Laveda Sartoris, 26, of Albany, was arrested for harassment. 38400 block of Wall St., Crawfordsville. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Sartoris was called in as a trespasser at the location. She was contacted by deputies and agreed to leave. She requested a ride to Taco Bell in Sweet Home, so the deputy drove her there and bought her some food and a drink. Once she had received her food, according to LCSO, she refused to get out of the back of the police car. After a few minutes of negotiations, she then got out and laid down in the parking lot. After some more negotiations to move along, Sartoris allegedly threw her cup of soda at a Sweet Home police officer who was assisting. The soda missed the officer. However, she then began swinging a bag of tacos at deputies and slapped one deputy in the side of the head with it. She was then arrested for harassment and transported to Linn County Jail. Report taken.

10:42 p.m. – Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 31, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, Linn County Jail.

10:56 p.m. – Cory West, 27, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 1500 block of Main St.

May 31

10:43 a.m. – Kevin Earl Terwilliger, 60, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

11:05 a.m. – Caller reported a female stealing butter and other items, Thriftway, 621 Main St. Another employee followed her to residence. Report taken. Approximate loss of value: $30.

1 p.m. – Jason Beasley, 49, of Lebanon, was cited for driving uninsured, Hwy. 20/Harmony Road.

1:25 p.m. – Caller reported a male pulling a knife and threatening him, McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. The suspect was last seen headed eastbound on Main. Report taken for menacing.

1:42 p.m. – Caller reported approximately $50 worth of gardening equipment stolen from the 41200 block of Port Drive.

3:33 p.m. – Dustin James Phares, 41, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, 4200 block of Main St.

4:04 p.m. – Bryanah Paige Tranilla, 29, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

4:30 p.m. – Caller reported violation of stalking order, 40300 block of Holley Heights Loop. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified subject of the order was continuing to send messages to the petitioner in a stalking order that was filed with the courts. The subject lives in Benton County, and BCSO was attempting an arrest. BCSO and LCSO are still working on locating the subject to make an arrest. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

6:10 p.m. – Deputy located an illegal camp on BLM land in the 50000 block of Quartzville Road. The occupants were contacted and sent on their way.

9:29 p.m. – Deputy checked a suspicious vehicle in the 2600 block of Foster Dam Road. A female was advised that she could not sleep there.

June 1

1:57 a.m. – Billy Joe Richardson, 56, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving and on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt, 7-Eleven, 2405 Main St.

5:56 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle crash at Main St./40th Ave. with power lines down. Kyle Austin Hanscam, 30, arrested for reckless driving and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest.

7:45 a.m. – Male warned for illegal camping, 900 block of Pleasant Valley Road.

8:31 a.m. – Male warned for illegal camping, 43300 block of North River Drive.

9:13 a.m. – Caller reported a helicopter flying low in the area of the 40500 block of McQueen Drive. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the chopper was flying over timberland properties, “potentially doing timber surveys.” Caller wanted to make a complaint about it flying low, so she was directed to contact the FAA.

11:24 a.m. – Caller reported a motor-vehicle crash, Main St./Clark Mill Road. Damage over $2,500. James Thomas Moffitt, 82, was cited for failure to yield right of way when entering a roadway.

11:45 a.m. – Bryanna Harley, 31, was cited and released for third-degree theft, Thriftway, 621 Main St. Also cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft and on Albany Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second- and third-degree theft.

12:11 p.m. – An outboard motor was reported stolen from Murphy Veneer Sweet Home within the last two weeks, 6011 Main St. Approximate loss of value: $700.

1:49 p.m. – Katrina Lynn Gray, 39, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

3:24 p.m. – Landon Frank Gerard, 47, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

3:50 p.m. – Someone reported that a male’s former girlfriend had taken his debit card and purchased a horse, which left barely any money in his account, 1500 block of Tamarack St. Investigation ongoing.

5:57 p.m. – Bradley Edward Amundsen, 42, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Hood River.

7:42 p.m. – Tearanie Dahn Kauffman, 19, was cited for speeding, 79/55, Main St./1st Ave.

7:52 p.m. – Emily Lauryn Terhune, 18, was cited for speeding, 79/55, west city limits.

June 2

1:35 a.m. – David Justin Laylon, 53, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree attempted burglary, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

8:55 a.m. – David Reeder, 63, was cited and released on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and on Corvallis Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree trespass and an original charge, 1950 Main St.

11:50 a.m. – Caller complained about target shooting on Cascade Timber Consulting property in the 42900 block of McDowell Creek Drive, just north of McDowell Creek Park. Deputy located the shooters, who were conducting themselves in a safe manner and not damaging timber resources. They had also picked up their trash when the deputy arrived. No further action.

1:41 p.m. – Caller reported a residential break-in the previous evening, 800 block of Alder St. Report taken for first-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

9:11 p.m. – Caller reported that a male had stolen son’s phone, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4714 Main St. Report taken for first-degree theft. Estimated value: $1,200.

June 3

8:14 a.m. – Corey Alan Smith, 58, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver, Linn County.

11:58 a.m. – A single-vehicle crash was reported in the 23400 block of Brush Creek Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, Aspyn Lysiak, 25, of Springfield, was driving a 2005 Ford Taurus when he hit the gravel shoulder, over-corrected and hit the embankment on the opposite side of the road and rolled over. Minor injuries. No citations issued. Report taken.

1:44 p.m. – Multiple citations were issued for illegal parking at second bridge, 44700 block of Quartzville Road.

5:02 p.m. – Deputy collected a kayak found by a citizen alongside Foster Dam Road. No indicators regarding ownership. Kayak described as a gray 10-foot Lost Creek fishing kayak equipped with sensors for a depth finder. Lodged as found property. Report taken.

5:51 p.m. – Caller reported that her vehicle was fine when she’d gone to bed the previous evening but was now making a grinding noise, 1880 block of Grape St. The vehicle had significant damage to its front driver’s side fender. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief.

7:23 p.m. – David Waters, 66, was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance, 53rd Ave./Main St.

8:22 p.m. – Shenese Danielle Cobian, 30, was cited and released for assault on a public safety officer and resisting arrest, and on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of child neglect, resisting arrest, and third-degree escape, and for driving under the influence and resisting arrest, 900 block of Main St.

June 4

1:28 a.m. – Caller reported that a woman had stolen his vehicle from his residence, 1700 block of Spruce St. Report taken for violation of release agreement. Investigation continuing.

3:11 a.m. – Heather Linn Thompson, 43, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized use of vehicle, Sweet Home Police Department, 1950 Main St.

11:35 a.m. – Julio Cisneros, 26, of Salem, was issued a citation for failure to register a boat on Green Peter Reservoir, 47300 block of Quartzville Road. Report taken.

12:35 p.m. – Caller reported concerns about a sickly male who had not been seen in a week, 44900 block of Quartzville Road. The Sheriff’s Office determined that he had already been transported to hospital.

12:53 p.m. – Two illegal camps located along North River Drive north of Foster Lake. A male with two motor homes, a truck, a utility trailer and a pit bull in the gravel turnout north of Foster Dam told a deputy he would be gone by dark. Occupants of a second camp – a motorhome with a car, at the first turnout east of Gedney Creek – were instructed to be gone by dark.

12:58 p.m. – Caller reported being scammed out of $900, 2200 block of Larch St. Report taken for second-degree theft by deception.

2:17 p.m. – Reinaldo Feregrino, 41, of Springfield, and Jose Ramirez, 48, also of Springfield, cited for no boater’s card, Foster Lake, 43700 block of North River Drive. Report taken.

9:05 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of violation of a stalking order in the 40300 block of Holley Heights Loop. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

10:49 p.m. – Nikolas Ryan Shoulders, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

11:09 p.m. – A male camping illegally in the 43300 block of North River Drive was told to move along.

11:25 p.m. – A deputy informed a bicyclist that a bicycle lacked a required red reflector, Main St./24th Ave.
