4:28 a.m. – Larry Shirley, 59, cited for speeding, 34800 block Hwy. 34.

 

Nov. 27

12:24 a.m. – Chad Lathrop, 57, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failing to renew vehicle registration, 1700 block S Main St.

3:26 a.m. – Anthony Brault, 39, cited for driving uninsured, 2600 block Porter Street.

1:29 p.m. – Cody Anderson, 38, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1800 block 6th Ave. SE, Albany.

3:30 p.m. – Caller reported sheep too close to road, 35900 block Rock Hill Drive. Sheep were contained within a fence.

10:54 p.m. – Shalia Guido Ponce, 42, cited for driving uninsured and no valid driver’s license, 3000 block S Santiam Hwy.

 

Nov. 26

2:39 p.m. – Deputies returned a pig back to its owner, 35100 block Ede Road.

3:52 p.m. – Anthony Middleton, 61, cited on warrant.

5:43 p.m. – Michael Healy, 36, arrested on warrant.

11:24 p.m. – Bryan Watts, 49, cited on warrants.

 

Nov. 25

3:15 a.m. – Thomas John Pixcar, 55, of Corvallis, cited for speeding 75/55, 30300 block Santiam Hwy./Horseshoe Loop.

9:39 p.m. – Steven David Willert, 59, cited on a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for giving false info to police.

10:11 a.m. – Steven D. Willert, 59, arrested for fourth degree assault.

10:57 a.m. – Dillon Johnson, 36, arrested on a warrant. Johnnie Catlin cited on a warrant.

12:07 p.m. – M. Miller, 31, cited for expired tags, 100 block W Cooley Ave., Brownsville.

2:00 p.m. – Caller reported hit and run on parked vehicle, 200 block S 2nd Street.

7:52 p.m. – John Botelho Homen, 51, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 2400 block S Santiam Hwy.

9:38 p.m. – Nicholas Duncan, 46, cited on warrants.

10:29 p.m. – Caller reported deer in the back of caller’s property may have made a strange noise, 36600 block Edgemont Drive.

 

Nov. 24

1:29 a.m. – Lucas Phillips, 25, cited for driving uninsured, 2600 block Birch Street.

2:08 a.m. – Caller said he was walking to his car between Duffy’s and Key Bank when two males in biker jackets through a bottle at him, yelled at him and smashed his windshield.

8:29 a.m. – Callers reported suspicious male walking around in a circle and carrying something metal in his hand inside a business, 2000 block Stoltz Hill Road. He refused to speak.

9:55 a.m. – Thomas Haught, 60, of Tangent, cited on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant.

10:52 a.m. – Caller showed video to police of neighbor throwing leaves on their plants, 300 block W Olive Street. Neighbor denied allegation until video was revealed, then said he’s mad because they honk their horn at him. Neighbor cited for third degree criminal mischief. Report taken.

11:56 a.m. – Dakota Ricky Lee Hartselle Jr., 30, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, W A Street.

12:29 p.m. – Tillie Mullins, 54, cited for speeding, 23700 block Brush Creek Road.

2:29 p.m. – Ira Davenport, 49, arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant.

2:45 p.m. – Caller reported male dropping his pants and exposing himself, S 2nd/W Airport.

4:51 p.m. – Thomas Joshua Gantt, 36, cited on warrant.

 

Nov. 23

12:49 a.m. – Zachary Mitchell Johnson, 31, cited for warrant, driving while suspended, and driving without insurance, 2400 block S Santiam Hwy.

11:43 a.m. – Caller reported a male spit on her vehicle and yelled while she tried to make a turn, near McDonald’s.

12:41 p.m. – LCSO’s Deputy #724 cited an unidentified driver for careless driving, 31200 block 1st Street.

1:57 p.m. – LCSO’s Deputy #724 cited an unidentified driver for equipment violation, 31100 Waterloo Road.

3:22 p.m. – Ethan Bird was cited on multiple warrants.

3:41 p.m. – Austin Bottcher, 34, cited on warrant.

3:43 p.m. – Anthony Middleton, 61, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 500 block Weldwood Drive.

4:48 p.m. – Amanda Rush, 35, cited for violation of the basic rule, 37900 Richardson Gap Road.

 

Nov. 22

5:00 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor beats his dog and when they told him to stop doing that, the neighbor threatened to shoot him, 100 block E Elmore Street.

 

Nov. 21

12:32 a.m. – Stephen Silver, 48, cited on warrants.

2:59 a.m. – Shay C. Kepler, 27, cited on warrant.

3:13 a.m. – Jermey Ray Harris, 45, arrested for fourth degree assault and warrants, 300 block Sand Ridge Court.

3:38 a.m. – Timothy William Pepperling, 40, cited on warrant, driving without an IID and driving without a valid license.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported suspicious object under stairs outside the Justice Center, Maple Street, describing as a bomb that was wooden and covered with string. Officer determined it was a homemade sling shot and military patch.

1:17 p.m. – Caller reported broken windows, 000 block E Maple Street.

2:26 p.m. – Aaron Rhine, 31, arrested on Marion County warrant; lodged at Linn County Jail.

9:12 p.m. – Caller reported female tried to stab them with a steak knife, 1800 block S 7th Street. Diana C. Roberts, 60, taken into custody.

 

Nov. 20

4:03 p.m. – Tyler Austin Metrision, 28, taken into custody for fraudulent theft from two area Walmarts.

4:19 p.m. – Deputies recovered stolen Bitcoin ATM that was dumped in front of Weyerhaeuser gate, 31900 block Bellinger Road.

8:27 p.m. – Demetrius Garcia, 36, cited for careless driving and speeding 93/55, 34200 block Goltra Road.

9:31 p.m. – Eugene Duncan Andrew, 33, cited on warrant and driving while suspended, Franklin Street.

10:21 p.m. – Cade Joseph Tacy, 19, cited for speeding 56/35, 900 block N Main Street, Brownsville.

10:26 p.m. – Jackie Anthony Harden, 30, cited for no valid operators license, 500 block N Santiam Hwy.

11:17 p.m. – Christian Phillip Riley, 46, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Milton Street.

 

Nov. 19

4:54 a.m. – Pam Smith, a homeless individual, was trespassed from Starbucks after leaving items at the location and returning at night. Officer told Smith they have offered her “so many resources but she refuses the help.”

7:26 a.m. – LCSO cited Christopher Nelson, 30, for violation of the basic rule, 38700 block Hwy. 226, Scio.

4:44 p.m. – Caller reported theft of garbage cans, which Republic Services is going to charge them to replace, 2300 block Robbins Way. Loss valued at $160.

 

Nov. 18

6:43 a.m. – James Everett Tagen, 50, was pulled over by OSP for alleged speeding 76/55, and was cited on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant, Hwy. 34.

9:34 a.m. – Lee Edward Sledge, 57, charged with domestic violence fourth degree assault, strangulation, coercion, and interfering with 911.

6:30 p.m. – Matthew David Kroesing, 26, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and failure to install an ignition interlocking device, Hwy. 20 and Walker Street.

11:08 p.m. – Caller reported hit and run, 200 block E Sherman Street. He heard a crash and saw a truck had smashed into his chain link fence and yard, then sped off on Williams Street.

 

Nov. 17

7:56 a.m. – OSP responded to a crash at Hwy. 34 and Red Bridge Road. Officer determined a driver was at about 65 MPH when it hydroplaned, lost control, left the roadway and rolled into a pole. The driver had to be removed by fire crews due to live power lines being down.

9:09 a.m. – LCSO cited Robert Alexander, 66, for failure to obey a traffic control device, 500 block Weldwood Drive.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported former employee stole more than $5,000.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported male, holding scissors behind his back, approached young girl in parking lot, 500 block Weldwood Drive. She walked away and he followed her.

9:19 p.m. – Brittny Ann Mahlee Gibson, 35, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and improper display, S Main Street.

9:33 p.m. – Andrew Alan Duncan, 42, taken into custody for stolen Harley Davidson, Sam’s Place. Motorcycle returned to owner.

10:16 p.m. – LCSO cited Katrina Counts, 52, on a warrant.

 

Nov. 16

3:07 a.m. – Sterling Sherburn cited on warrant.

8:50 a.m. – Melissa Jill Whitmore, 36, was pulled over by OSP for alleged speeding 82/55, and was cited on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant, Hwy. 34.

10:10 a.m. – Joseph Castleman cited on warrant

10:47 a.m. – Kim Randall Klee, 69, cited for hunting from a highway, Middle Ridge Road. Klee admitted to an OSP officer he shot a buck while it was standing in the roadway. The buck was donated to Lebanon Soup Kitchen.

11:02 a.m. – Caller reported theft of cash and checks from business, 1400 block Airport Road.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported theft of boots from Walmart. Subject only identified as Christina cited for third degree theft, second degree disorderly conduct and first degree trespass.

5:55 p.m. – Caller reported unknown female in their house, moved things around, took a bite of cucumber, and opened an IV Liquid packet, 000 block Weldwood Drive. Female said she believed she lived there, but eventually left.

7:28 p.m. – Caller reported female walked inside the back door of a residence, 800 block Wagon Wheel Drive.

8:36 p.m. – Miguel Lee McIntyre, 24, cited for driving uninsured, S Main Street.

 

Nov. 15

1:36 a.m. – Caller reported car parked at Cascades school. Officer informed car owner they cannot sleep there.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported theft from store, 2600 block S. Santiam Hwy. Suspect Cory Jones was found and stolen merchandise fell out of his pocket. Jones cited for third degree theft. Loss valued at $11.25. Report taken.

2:33 p.m. – OSP cited Victor Manuel Meza-Rojas, 20, for criminal reckless driving, Hwy. 20 and Old Santiam Hwy.

2:57 p.m. – Caller reported they had video of a person cutting the fence to gain entry, 600 block Hansard Avenue. Caller said there were two other times the fence has been cut and entry gained.

3:02 p.m. – LCSO cited Magdelena Jamison, 47, of Stayton, for speeding 78/55, 37000 block Hwy. 226.

3:47 p.m. – Glen Wilson trespassed from a store, alleged “aggressive panhandler” from a few days prior, 2600 block S Santiam Hwy.

5:08 p.m. – Caller reported theft of Milwaukee packout tool boxes and tools taken from pickup bed in driveway, 600 block Wagon Wheel Drive. Loss valued at $1,250.

5:22 p.m. – Caller reported two men skateboarding in the street, 7th/Walker.

7:28 p.m. – LCSO arrested C. Riley, 49, on a warrant.

8:19 p.m. – Crystal Leann Potter, 44, cited for warrant and driving while suspended.

 

Nov. 14

4:27 a.m. – LSCO cited Guiller Farinas, 26, for speeding 57/40 and driving without insurance, 33900 block Santiam Hwy.

5:21 a.m. – Caller reported theft of tools from unlocked car, 1000 block Kees Street. Loss valued at $350.

9:09 a.m. – LCSO cited Jesse Marsh, 62, for failure to provide proof of insurance, and cited Jay Marsh, 60, on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant.

9:53 a.m. – Sean Douglas Birkholz, 40, cited on a warrant.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported theft of debit card from apartment, 1800 block Stoltz Hill Road. Caller said he lets destitute people come to his home to use the shower. Now he is only going to let vetted people come.

11:51 a.m. – LCSO cited Richard Raisor, 48, of Albany, on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant, and Christine Bodda, 39, of Albany, on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant.

12:55 p.m. – LCSO arrested Richard Raisor, 48, of Sweet Home, for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was lodged at Linn County Jail.

4:28 p.m. – Caller reported female leaving store with shirt stuffed with stolen items from Rite Aid. Stephanie Ann Omnik, 46, charged with third degree theft.

7:20 p.m. – Brandon Foss, 25, cited for driving while suspended, 1800 block S Main Street.

9:17 p.m. – LCSO cited Jason Mier, 46, of Shedd, for speeding 42/25 and failure to renew vehicle registration, 3300 block S Main Road.

9:36 p.m. – LCSO arrested Rosemarie Delbozque, 39, for DUII and reckless driving, 34600 block Spicer Drive.

 

Nov. 13

9:33 a.m. – LCSO cited Vincent Shumacher, 69, for failure to renew registration, 33000 block Brewster Road.

2:18 p.m. – Landlord reported squatter in a trailer at his property threatened him after he evicted a legal tenant from the property, 1000 block Fuji Lane.

9:09 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject tried to buy items at Grocery Outlet with copper, then panhandled outside and threatened women when they wouldn’t give him money.

 

Nov. 12

7:45 a.m. – Officer advised people they cannot camp at the location, 25 Academy St.They began tearing down the structures they built.

8:31 a.m. – LSCO arrested Heather Meeks, 36, on warrants. Lodged at Linn County Jail.

8:56 a.m. – Caller reported trespassed individual sleeping in car in parking lot, 300 block Sand Ridge Court.

9:13 a.m. – Caller reported travel trailer on property needs to leave, 500 block F Street. Officer found trailer owners getting ready to move their trailer off the property.

10:03 a.m. – Caller reported theft of cigarettes from store, 000 block Oak Street.

11:46 a.m. – Unidentified driver cited for driving uninsured, 2700 block Santiam Hwy. Officer unable to determine license status at the time.

2:07 p.m. – Caller reported theft of tools from construction site, 200 block Market Street. Loss valued at $620.

8:56 p.m. – James Newberg Hayden, 27, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, Berlin Road.

9:36 p.m. – Colton Sacha Savri, 18, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 5th Street.

10:45 p.m. – Patricia Ann Hughes, 20, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, E Grant Street.

 

Nov. 11

3:31 p.m. – LCSO arrested Bodie Gibson, 44, on a warrant and for possession of methamphetamine. He was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, failure to drive within a lane, and failure to register a vehicle, 35100 block Bond Road. He was lodged at Linn County Jail.

10:19 p.m. – LCSO cited Chase Kuske, 33, on warrants.

 

Nov. 10

1:10 a.m. – Alexander Hite, 40, cited on a criminal citation in lieu of custody on a warrant.

2:03 a.m. – Unidentified driver cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 31200 block Waterloo Rd.

3:07 a.m. – Unidentified driver cited for no insurance and no valid operator license requirements, and a passenger cited for open container, 2000 block S. Santiam Hwy.

3:08 a.m. – Brian Peterson, 44, arrested for violation of a conditional release agreement and two unrelated warrants.

5:34 a.m. – Nicholas Rose, 36 , cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 300 block W. Airport Rd.

1:20 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup striking a bicyclist at S. Main Road and Market St. The victim told police he was headed northbound on Main and was riding through the intersection on a green light when a white 2014-2017 Ford F150 with a tool box in the bed and Washington license plates turned onto Market, causing the bicyclist to hit the side of his truck. He said the truck continued east on Market and he lost sight of it. His bike sustained minor damage to the handle bar.

2:22 p.m. – OSP cited Jaynie Elizabeth Coughlin, 58, for driving while suspended, Hwy. 34 near milepost 12.

6:02 p.m. – Hit-and-run crash reported at intersection of Airport Road and 12th St. Victim, who was not fully named in police log, told police she was driving her Chevy sedan westbound on Airport when a silver or white Kia Sou entered the intersection from 12th Street and crashed into her. She said she was uninjured. Police determined the Kia is registered in Portland.

8:18 p.m. – LCSO cited Willum Johnson-Davis, 20, for speeding 69/45 and driving while suspended, 33600 block Brewster Road.

9:07 p.m. – Donald Brady, 36, cited and released for driving while suspended. Vehicle towed. 000 block E. Airport Road.

 

Nov. 9

1:15 a.m. – Police called to assist medics who were attempting to help patient near Industrial Way and Santiam Hwy. but his dog was not letting them help him. Patient was eventually transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

3:52 a.m. – Unidentified driver cited for driving while suspended and speeding 87/55, 35800 block Hwy. 34.

11:30 a.m. – Kink BMX bicycle reported stolen from 400 block Morton St. Valued at $200. Also, caller reported that someone had taken approximately $30-$40 worth of cans from her back yard. Investigation continuing.

1:04 p.m. – Jayson Denue, 33, of Philomath, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

5:50 p.m. – Caller reported that she had struck a male near intersection of Oak and 2nd. She said he rolled over her hood, but appeared uninjured and did not damage her Toyota Camry. The victim did not want an ambulance.

8:37 p.m. – OSP cited Scott G. Fregonese, 47, of Portland, for DUII (intoxicants), Hwy. 34 near milepost 3.

 

Nov. 8

1:13 a.m. – Caller reported two car windows broken out, two tires punctured on Ford Mustang parked in 100 block E. Carolina St. Second caller reported an altercation at location, two children running around outside.

3:29 a.m. – Callers reported International semi blocking Oak Street near Lebanon Parkway. Truck towed.

5:16 a.m. – Two-vehicle crash reported at Airport and 2nd. Driver Leona Lea Downard, 28, said she was driving a GMC Acadia westbound on Airport at about 10-15 mph and had a green light at 2nd Street, so she proceeded through the intersection and was struck on her passenger’s side by a Nissan Rogue driven by Kathy Marie Dadey, 77, which caused Downard’s car to spin around in the intersection. Downard’s car was heavily damaged on the front passenger’s side. Both drivers were transported by medics. DMV reports to be filed.

8:44 a.m. – OSP pulled over Cesar Javier Ortiz Lopez, 20, for a traffic violation, Hwy. 20, and found the driver had a warrant for DUII. He was cited and released.

10:40 a.m. – Three-vehicle crash reported in 000 block Grant St. According to police log, a Chevy Suburban driven by Tori Ann Coberly, 37, was proceeding north in the left lane on Park St., parallel to a Lexus whose driver’s full name is not listed in the log. A Ford Aerostar driven by John Ray Daniels, 72, was driving east on Grant Street and filed to stop at the red light, colliding with the driver’s side of the Suburban, which then was pushed into the Lexus. Coberly was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. None of the others reported any injuries that demanded attention. Vehicles towed. DMV reports to be filed.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported driver didn’t stop at stop sign, almost hit caller, then drove into a field, 700 block B Street. Jesus Torres-Ascencio, 37, found passed out behind the wheel at his residence; taken into custody with .22% BAC.

10:54 a.m. – Ryan Smothers, 41, cited for failure to drive within lane, 29400 block S. Santiam Hwy.

11:07 a.m. – Caller reported that his identity had been used to open a utility account in Texas and pay $700 in utility bills. He needed case number from LPD to give to a credit collections agency to get it removed from his credit score.

11:55 a.m. – Lexi Marie Crownover, 32, cited for driving while suspended.

12:51 p.m. – Caller reported crash in 1000 block Franklin St. Nissan Altima driven by Tina Lopez, 63, was traveling north on Franklin when it veered to the east side of the street and struck an unoccupied Volkswagen Jetta. No report.

1:43 p.m. – Caller reported civil disagreement with neighbor who allegedly damaged one of her trees, 38600 block Knighten Ln.

1:51 p.m. – Briar Burdett Labar, 33, turned himself in at LPD, 40 N. 2nd St., saying he had warrant that he wanted to take care of.

2:56 p.m. – Gerald Bickett, 85, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

4:18 p.m. – Caller reported hit and run. She said her vehicle was parked in the Lebanon High School parking lot, 1700 S. 5th St., and came out to find cosmetic damage to her brand new Honda Pilot. She said that she had had the Pilot for less than a week and was nervous about parking it in the lot, so she took photos of it and surrounding vehicles before proceeding to the school. She said she found cosmetic damage upon returning to her car. The owner of the vehicle parked next to the caller’s said he was almost certain he had not hit anyone and an officer could see no indications that that vehicle had had contact with the Pilot, which had cosmetic damage to the passenger’s side. Investigation continuing.

4:35 p.m. – Zayne Hannah-Gray, 18, cited for failure to drive within lane after he crashed on Bellinger Scale Road and took a fence out.

5:09 p.m. – Caller, who was not named in police log, reported that he had gotten into an accident a short time before at the intersection of Park and Ash streets. He told police the female driver of the other vehicle had given him insurance information but he did not give her any. Officer suggested that he contact the female and give her his information so she could proceed with insurance. No description of vehicles in log.

5:17 p.m. – Caller reported crash in 1600 block S. Main St. between Honda and Toyota Camry. Drivers’ names not listed in police log, but caller said the other driver would not provide information. By the time officer arrived, that had been accomplished.

7:42 p.m. – OSP responded to a crash on Hwy. 34 near Denny School Road, and determined a driver failed to come to a complete stop and hit another driver’s rear car.

7:54 p.m. – Nathan Larkins, 37, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and possession of methamphetamine. Also cited on a criminal citation in lieu of custody on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant. Also issued a violation citation for violation of bicycle equipment requirements.

8:17 p.m. – Caller reported that female took two bags of microwave rice from store in 2600 block S. Santiam Hwy. Shoplifter was described as having pink hair and wearing a Harley Davidson hoody and dark pants. Loss estimated at $2.50 total.

10:53 p.m. – Caller reported Jeep crashed in 700 block B St. Caller reported Jeep didn’t stop at stop sign, almost hit the caller and wound up in a field. Driver, identified as Jesus Torres-Ascencio, 38, was discovered passed out behind the wheel. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:39 p.m. – Stefani Brock, 34, of Crawfordsville, cited for speeding, 76/55, 35500 block Brewster Rd.

 

Nov. 7

3:07 p.m. – LCSO responded to call about a hitting incident between two kids, 32100 block Berlin Rd. School and parents will handle the situation.

3:16 p.m.  – Caller reported that she has received multiple calls over the past 48 hours, from both a male and female, coming from what appeared to be city Engineering Department phone number, and telling her that there had been some type of accident. She said the callers usually did not sound foreign and they tell her that she is financially responsible for an accident, which had never occurred. Officer explained that the city is unable to prevent the spoofing of its numbers and offered recommendations for how to prevent those calls. Also, the officer recommended that she check her bank accounts and other sensitive information to ensure nothing had been compromised.

3:53 p.m. – Forrest Reid Remington, 28, cited for driving uninsured. 800 block Park St.

8:41 p.m. – LCSO responded to iPhone crash detection, 39200 block Lacomb Dr. No signs of crash located. Deputies tried calling the phone, no answer.

 

Nov. 6

7:18 a.m. – LCSO responded to two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 34400 block Bellinger Scale Rd.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had set a fire next to building in 500 block of South Main during the night and there is damage to the building. Under investigation. Report taken.

11:12 a.m. – Dominic Alexander Vidal, 30, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, no motorcycle endorsement, no helmet and failure to yield, 7th and Tangent streets. Honda dirt bike, which, according to police log, belonged to someone else, impounded.

11:51 a.m. – Crystal Ann Gonzalez, 36, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, 2400 block S. Santiam Hwy.

2:31 p.m. – Dominic Alexander Vidal, 30, and Samantha Renee Stevens, 30, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, Taylor and Primrose streets, transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicles involved in case include white cargo trailer and Ford 150 pickup truck, as well as Honda dirt bike.

7:46 p.m. – Kurtis Riley McClurg, 35, cited and released on warrant, 1700 block Carroll St.

7:49 p.m. – Hit and Run reported in 3300 block Aspen St. Caller reported that about five minutes earlier he heard a loud bang. He went outside and saw a dark-colored mini van or SUV leaving the area eastbound on Vaughn at a high rate of speed after hitting a Plymouth Voyager and a Town and Country van. .

8:24 p.m. – Richard B. Jones, 52, cited for deficient lighting, improper display, and driving uninsured, Hobbs St.

9:06 p.m. – Caller reported possible burglary, 39300 block River Dr.

9:31 p.m. – Caden Alexander Smith, 22, cited for failure to comply with traffic control device, Ash and Park streets.

 

Nov. 5

8:05 a.m. – Crash reported at Airport Road and 2nd St. According to police log, Buick was traveling north on 2nd and was making a westbound turn onto Airport when it struck a Subaru Impreza. Drivers’ names not included in log. DMV reports to be filed.

8:13 a.m. – Rear-end Crash reported at Walker and South Main roads. Neither vehicle descriptions or drivers’ names listed in police log. Driver of vehicle that rear-ended the other told police she was applying makeup while driving and crashed into the other vehicle, which was making a turn into the Linn County Sheriff’s Office substation. Heavy front-end damage to suspect vehicle, whose driver was cited for following too closely. DMV reports to be filed.

8:55 a.m. – Caller reported theft from 1000 block Montessa Way. According to caller, sometime between Nov. 3 and Nov. 4 four all-terrain tires, an Echo leaf blower and a Protec aluminum headache rack were stolen from the back of a horse trailer. Total value $1,050. Suspect(s) believed to have unbolted fence to gain access to trailer. Caller gave police the name of a possible suspect who had viewed the items, which were for sale.

9:54 a.m. – Caller reported that someone claiming to be from Publisher’s Clearing House called him and requested Amazon and Visa gift cards totaling $999. Caller said he is now getting calls from people claiming to be the FBI. An officer told the caller to contact his credit union and advise them of the situation and, if the situation continues, to change his phone number. Also, the officer advised the caller to let all his friends know that legitimate businesses will never ask for payment via Amazon or gift cards.

1:22 p.m. – LCSO helped return sheep back into pasture, 38100 block Sodaville Mountain Home Road.

2:01 p.m. – Caller reported a friend allegedly knows the location of buried gold her deceased ex-husband had buried, and is not telling her the location.

2:10 p.m. – Caller reported crash, which had occurred at 10:30 a.m. on Milton and Main streets. Drivers’ names and vehicle descriptions incomplete in log, but the crash took place in the turn lane, and caller reported that she thought damage was in excess of $2,500.

2:41 p.m. – LCSO responded to two adult women engaged in a fight with minor injuries, 3300 block Dorothy Dr. Samantha Vento, 22, arrested for second degree disorderly conduct and fourth degree assault. Genelle King, 37, arrested for second degree disorderly conduct.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported theft of items from vehicle parked near intersection of Tayler and Primrose streets. Phone, wallet and other items missing from Toyota Corolla. Total value estimated as roughly $500. Caller suggested that possible suspect might be individual with whom he had had altercation previously.

7:53 p.m. – Caller reported that she was leaving Wal-Mart when a male in a 2008 Honda Pilot pulled up next to her at the intersection of Weldon St. and Santiam Hwy. and started yelling at her and her partner. She said her window was down and the male spit at her and the saliva went into her mouth. The male then took off towards Sweet Home. She followed, but the male was going too fast to keep up. She gave police a possible license plate number.

 

Nov. 4

12:15 a.m. – Trevor Clayton Clark, 37, cited on warrant, 5th and Sherman streets.

4:37 a.m. – Shawn Patrick Cruise, 45, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and for warrant. Report taken. A and Williams streets.

10:58 a.m. – Caller reported garbage and other items dumped in business dumpster in 2000 block S. Santiam Hwy. Items dumped included mail and Amazon packages from county address, but inquiry to Sheriff’s Office indicated there had been no report of theft from that address. Caller requested extra patrol.

4:10 p.m. – Non-injury crash reported in 2100 block S. 7th St. between Honda Odyssey and Toyota 4Runner.  When police arrived, information had already been exchanged, but caller asked for extra patrol for speeders in area of Cascade Elementary between 3 and 7 p.m.

5:55 p.m. – Crash reported at S. Main Road and Sand Ridge Court. According to police log, David Steagall,19, was driving an Acura south on South Main Road when the Mazda ahead of him, driven by Marian Van Batavia, 30, stopped to allow pedestrians to cross and was rear-ended by Steagall. Steagall told police that he hit his brakes, but the vehicle did not slow down and struck Van Batavia’s. No injuries reported. Heavy damage to rear bumper of Van Batavia’s vehicle, which was not described in the log, and to the front of Steagall’s. DMV reports to be filed.

6:32 p.m. – Caller reported that an iPhone 13 Mini she ordered from Amazon arrived with the box empty in the 500 block of E. Oak St. She told police the flaps on the box were open when it was delivered by the Amazon driver and when she asked why, the driver said he did not know. She said she opened the box in front of the driver and confirmed that there was nothing in the box. The driver notified his manager and the caller was told to get a police report. Missing phone valued at $433.94.

 

Nov. 3

12:51 a.m. – Autumn Jean Ann Macklin, 23, of Lebanon, arrested for DUII (.06%), Albany.

1:17 a.m. – Cole David Kingsberry, 32, cited for driving uninsured, driving while suspended, 3200 block S. Santiam Hwy.

2:45 a.m. – Katherine Ann Ross, 36, cited for driving while suspended, Oak and 5th streets.  Jade K. Bryant, 27, a passenger in the vehicle driven by Ross, cited and released for warrant.

2:17 p.m. – Trailer reported stolen from 300 block S. 9th St. approximately one week previously. Utility trailer, which has no plates, belongs to caller’s grandfather, who has had it for more than 30 years. Caller said he found the trailer on Facebook Marketplace, being sold from an Albany address. Investigation continuing.

5:24 p.m. – Caller reported he was assaulted by roommate’s son, 500 block W Grant Street. He was going up the stairs when suspect jumped out and attacked him. Report taken.

7:30 p.m. – Fentanyl overdose in 100 block Wheeler St. Victim’s name not listed. He was revived by residents after four doses of Narcan.

9:42 p.m. – Christa Lynn Hoskinson, 33, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. Vehicle impounded. 1600 block S. Main St.

10:04 p.m. – Daryn David Hill, 31, cited for driving while suspended, Primrose St./Russell Dr.

10:34 p.m. – Burglary reported in 1000 block E. Grove St. Door lock seemed unreliable, items appeared to be missing. Investigation continuing.

11:02 p.m. – Chelsea Nell Duran, 36, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. Dwight Emery Reedy, 31, taken into custody for Oregon State Parole Board violation. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:36 a.m. – Stanislav Ishenin, 37, of Lebanon, cited for DUII, reckless driving, failure to use an ignition interlock device, and driving without privileges, 35300 block of Eicher Road, Albany.

2:58 a.m. – Ryan Lee Simpson, 32, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, Milton and Franklin streets. Vehicle impounded,

4:02 a.m. – Christina Ann Watts, 36, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, Porter and Russell streets.

6:37 a.m. – Hit and run reported at Knothole Market, 2400 block S. Santiam Hwy. White Chevy pickup reportedly backed into black Ford F350. Investigation continuing.

12:07 p.m. – Justin Surplus, 39, was arrested on warrants.

1:51 p.m. – Hit and run reported at E. Airport Road and Main St. Dodge Journey and Aerostar. Drivers’ names not listed in police log. One driver transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Vehicles towed.

3:07 p.m. – Wyatt Vaughan, 21, cited on a warrant.

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported hit and run at Safeway, 1900 block Main St. According to police log, silver Dodge Caravan backed into caller’s Toyota RAV4, denting her license plate. Otherwise, no real damage. According to caller, she waited until suspect returned to his vehicle and he ignored her when she attempted contact. She told police he then sped off, squealing tires and nearly hitting a child in the lot. Suspect vehicle described as silver and lacking front fenders and license plate. Investigation continuing.

5:27 p.m. – Crash reported in parking lot between Taco Time and  McDonald’s in  2200 block S. Santiam Hwy. Car driving east through Taco Time parking lot collided with pickup pulling into McDonalds from South Main Road. Car hit passenger side of Tacoma pickup truck, causing what police estimated to be more than $2,500 in damage. Damage to front end of car was “minor.” Drivers’ names not listed in police log. DMV report to be completed.

7:13 p.m. – Bicyclist struck by pickup truck, Cascade and Wagon Wheel drives. Ford Ranger driven by Christopher James Swindle, 49, struck bicyclist Mathhew Alan Smith, 59. Swindle told police that Smith was riding in the middle of the lane, against traffic, with no light and Swindle did not have time to swerve or brake. Smith transported to Corvallis hospital with leg and head injuries, but is expected to recover, according to police log. DMV crash report will be completed.

 

Nov. 1

1:21 a.m. – Caller reported that he and his girlfriend were walking on Rose Street when a male approached and, after caller pushed him away, knocked caller to the ground in the area of Century Park. Caller wrestled with subject and was able to disengage. No injury to caller except for scratch to caller’s knee. Male described as 20’s, white, 5-9, with ball cap, black hoodie and gray jeans. Officers searched area but were unable to locate anyone matching that description.

6:50 a.m. – Officer responded to male screaming in 600 block S. Main St. Cited on warrants. Name not listed.

7:49 a.m. – Caller reported seeing semi truck appear to strike an elderly female, who was apparently crossing Milton Street against the light. Medics later responded to a 2nd Street address. She told police she couldn’t remember if she had the right of way, but that she did not believe she needed to go to the hospital. She and a witness said they believed the operator of the truck, described as yellow and white with a double trailer, likely was unaware that the victim had been struck. She declined to go to the hospital.

9:43 a.m. – Ricardo Holmes, 22, cited for speeding 78/55, 34700 block of Hwy. 34.

10:39 a.m. – Zachary Steinhebel, 38, cited for driving uninsured and driving without driving privileges, 1500 block of S Main Street.

5:35 p.m. – Vehicle crash reported in 000 block of S. Santiam Hwy. White Dodge SUV failed to stop when exiting driveway and was struck by White Kia. Driver of Dodge cited for failure to stop. Name not listed on police log.

6:46 p.m. – Maitland Moore, 24, cited on a warrant.

 

Oct. 31

8:50 a.m. – Michael Scott Branton Jr, 48, cited on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of hit and run.

9:46 a.m. – Motor vehicle collision reported at S. Santiam Hwy. and Division Way. Police log states that vehicle operated by Alex Day Cowart, no age listed, turned left from Division Way and  pulled in front of another vehicle southbound on Santiam Hwy. No signs of impairment. Damage to both vehicles over $2500 dollars. Cowart’s vehicle towed.

10:56 a.m. – Kourtney Taylor, of Lebanon, cited for illegal window tint.

11:54 a.m. – OSP responded to a two-vehicle crash, Brewster Road and Lacomb Drive.

2:50 p.m. – Shawnette Marie, 69, cited for expired tags.

4:02 p.m. – Motor vehicle collision reported at S. Santiam Hwy. and Weldwood Dr. Police log states that Francisco Farias Celestino, 32, was driving a Toyota Camry south on Weldwood when a Volvo SUV driven by Miranda Katelyn Mackay, 32, pulled in front of him, headed for Walmart. Celestino told police he tried to avoid the Volvo but could not. Police estimated damage to the Camry was more than $2,500; less than $2,500 for the Volvo. Medical treatment was declined.

7:13 p.m. – Caller reported that her 13-year-old daughter had been hit by car in the area of Mountain River and Park Dr., about 45 minutes previously. According to the police log, the girl ended on the hood of the Subaru Impreza, but was uninjured. A police investigation determined that the girl emerged onto the roadway from behind a parked car and, after she was struck, the occupants of the Subaru, who were unnamed, performed “adequate duties of a driver.” According to police, there were “hundreds, if not thousands,” of pedestrians in the area due to the Halloween celebration. No report.

8:15 p.m. – Caller reported burglary in progress in 500 block W. Ash St. Suspects described as male and female, male wearing black backpack, and female wearing red or pink jacket. Wet footprints were seen going inside, and back door appeared to be pried open, but police search of the building did not locate anyone inside.

10:45 p.m. – Dakotah Hodson, 26, cited for two Linn County Circuit Court warrants and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant.

 

Oct. 30

12:40 p.m. – Draven Daniel Dennis, 22, cited for illegal window tint.

1:11 p.m. – Shannon Potter, 58, cited for violation of the basic rule (speeding), 38200 block of Scravel Hill Road.

1:22 p.m. – Hui Tuttle, age not listed, cited for failure to obey traffic device after two-vehicle collision at Weldwood and Cascade drives. Tuttle told LPD that she was pulling out in her SUV from stop sign on Cascade onto Weldwood when her vehicle was T-boned by other vehicle, described as a Lexus X300 Orokiet. Driver’s full name unavailable.  Police reported no serious injuries. Police reported no serious injuries and that both vehicles were drivable.

2:45 p.m. –  Caller reported that she was scammed out of $1,000 over phone after individual, with “Indian accent,” who claimed to be representing Pacific Power, threatened to shut off her power in 40 minutes unless she went to Rite Aid and purchased two $500 money orders. After she sent the money as instructed, she realized that she had been scammed and contacted police. She reported that she had tried to cancel the money orders but it was too late. A Rite Aid employee told police that they did question the victim before authorizing the transfer.

5:03 p.m. – OSP responded to a two-vehicle crash, Hwy. 20 near milepost 11.

6:23 p.m. – Two-vehicle collision reported at intersection of Main and West Airport. According to police log, Kia operated by Zachary Short was behind a Mercedes van operated by Zachary Leigh Birch in the turn lane, when the van slowed and was rear-ended by Short’s Kia.

7:09 p.m. – LCSO responded to a report of a stolen vehicle, 31600 block of Stoltz Hill Road.

9:44 p.m. – OSP contacted the driver of a vehicle that left the scene of a crash on I-5. Douglas William Treisch, 38, cited for DUII, reckless driving, driving while suspended or revoked, second degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, assaulting a public safety officer, failure to perform the duties of a driver in an accident with an injury, second degree disorderly conduct, furnishing alcohol to a minor, and recklessly endangering another person.

9:11 a.m. – OSP responded to a single vehicle crash on Hwy. 34 at milepost 14 near Agan Road. A white Chevy Cruz lost control on a turn and drove into a field. No damage was done to any property.
