6:33 p.m. – Caller accidentally pocket-dialed 9-1-1 while play fighting with daughter, which made it sound like a disturbance was occurring. Deputies arrived and confirmed that was what was happening. 34800 block Bond Road.

12:11 p.m. – Frances T. Magnus, 45, cited for driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance, and failure to obey a traffic control device, Main St.
3:25 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor driving a souped-up Toyota, revving the motor, and driving it up and down the road, Filbert St. Caller said, “He is disrupting what is supposed to be a peaceful Sunday afternoon.”

7:46 a.m. – Conan Dehut, 30, arrested on warrant from Santiam Correctional Institution, after disturbance reported in 2100 block Mill Street. Deputies located Dehut and he fled, according to Sheriff’s report. A Linn County K9 deputy deployed Thunder, a Sheriff’s Office canine, who located Dehut approximately 150 yards from where he’d been spotted by deputies, hiding in some brush. 6:39 a.m. – Caller reported damage to vehicle, 2nd St. Steering column damaged, and a machete was found inside.
8:45 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle in middle of Groshong Road, near Highway 20. Turned out to be stolen vehicle. Recovered. Report taken.

9:21 a.m. – Deputy reponded to non-injury crash on Waterloo Bridge, 31200 block Waterloo Road. According to Sheriff’s report, driver Richard Stephens, 50, of Lebanon, left area and called Sheriff’s dispatch, advising that he would attempt to remove vehicle himself. According to report, driver knew he was wanted by U.S. Marshal’s Service. After failed attempt to contact Stephens, vehicle was towed as hazard and driver was left a voicemail advising him of that.
12:14 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of an overdose of anxiety medication in 37100 block Gore Road. Individual, who was not named in report, was located in back yard, upright and conversing. Over course of contact, she began to lose consciousness. She went inside to get a drink and did not return. Deputy found her asleep with cigarette still in her hand. Medics woke her up and transported her to hospital.
6:28 p.m. – Cainen Perkins, 20, Albany, cited for failure to yield after, according to Sheriff’s report, he cut off oncoming traffic while leaving Wilco parking lot, 300 Market Street.

2:55 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of a crashed motorcycle, with nobody around, in the 39500 block of Mt. Hope Drive. Investigation revealed that the motorcycle had been stolen out of Marion County a year earlier. Appropriate parties were notified and the motorcycle was towed. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

1:43 p.m. – Deputy contacted Shelley Valentine, who had parked RV in upper parking lot at Waterloo Park. Valentine informed park staff she was going to remove her personal belongings and allow the RV to be towed away. Deputy explained that she would be cited for abandoning a vehicle and would be responsible for tow bill.
