April 14
10:16 a.m. – Caller reported that a private investigator had come to their house. The caller did not like that and wanted to press charges. Deputy advised that this was not criminal conduct on the part of the investigator.
12:03 p.m. – Single-vehicle traffic crash with minor injury, 34500 block Grand Prairie Road. Damage to highway sign and private driveway concrete abutment. Driver Kimberly Bishop, 50, of Lebanon, arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving.
April 15
6:10 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had removed $2,000 from their unemployment benefits card. 35300 block Ede Road. Under investigation. Report taken.
8:09 a.m. – Criminal mischief reported in 32600 block Denny School Road. Vehicle window damaged. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
9:09 a.m. – Sandra M. Kronour, 61, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Park St.
10:13 a.m. – Deputies responded to report of possible child neglect issue. Juvenile fell off youth dirt bike the previous night and did not have any complaint of injuries until next day. Sheriff’s Office determined that parents were aware of incident and taking appropriate steps to ensure juvenile was not injured. No crime.
2:23 p.m. – Caller reported she loaned her horse and $2,500 saddle to a teenager two or three years previously. The horse was returned and the teen stated he had also returned the saddle, which was in a custom-made zip-up cover. When the owner went to use the saddle, she found the case empty. According to a Sheriff’s report, recent photos have appeared showing the teen with the saddle he claimed he had returned. Owner wanted to press charges. 34400 block Brewster Road/Shady Oak Lane.
3:15 p.m. – Report taken for theft of firearm, power inverter and GPS unit from vehicle, South Place.
4:57 p.m. – Deputies took report of fraudulent activity on credit card, 31800 block Eastway Street. Crime occurred in another country and was handled internally by the bank.
6:04 p.m. – Josie Womack was taken into custody on a police officer hold for aggressive behavior.
8:06 p.m. – Report taken for theft of Sonoma pickup, Weirich Drive. Loss valued at $400.
April 16
10:03 a.m. – Caller reported blackmail after forming an online relationship with a female. A video chat with the female shows him holding his private parts, and the female demanded money in exchange for not posting his nude photos online. Loss valued at $200.
10:38 a.m. – Arne Gerard, 43, of Sweet Home, arrested for driving while suspended after traffic stop in 31600 block Berlin Road/Waterloo Road. Cited and released. Report taken.
11:47 a.m. – Report taken for fraud. A female was contacted by someone falsely claiming to be an officer, who told her there was a warrant for her arrest. To avoid arrest, she bought $200 worth of eBay gift cards and handed over her social security card information.
2:25 p.m. – Thomas Trotts, 47, was cited for a statewide felony warrant through Linn County for failure to comply, identity theft.
2:38 p.m. – Corey Marker, 44, of Lebanon, arrested and cited in lieu of custody for Lebanon Justice Court contempt of court warrant, 39800 block Lacomb Drive. Report taken.
3:15 p.m. – Report taken for a broken car window, Berry St. Loss valued at $100.

12:28 p.m. – Calvin Dorgan, 36, of Lebanon, arrested on three warrants. 37100 block Gore Drive. Report taken.
1:25 p.m. – Calvin John Dorgan, 36, was taken into custody for a Lebanon warrant for probation violation.
3:02 p.m. – Tyler Stephen Griffin, 26, was cited for a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original criminal citation.

10:11 a.m. – Traffic stop in 33000 block Brewster Road. Family late for church. Warned for violation.

11:07 a.m. – Report taken for phone lines cut at Wing Mings.
12:20 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles were playing basketball in the street and the noise was making it hard for him to sleep, Oak Terrace. Officer said no laws were being violated.
12:49 p.m. – Officer found two open containers among a group of people on the bridge, and counseled the group about drinking in public, Grove St.
1:49 p.m. – A person via the MyPD app reported garbage – including a tampon – was found next to his property, Park St. Information documented.
4:25 p.m. – Charles Coats, 34, of Albany, arrested on Albany Municipal Court warrant, cited for driving while suspended and driving without insurance. 5400 block Santiam Highway.
7:56 p.m. – A male was taken into custody following a standard field sobriety test, Cascade Dr.

2:52 a.m. – Garrett Logan Justice, 24, was cited for driving uninsured, Santiam Hwy.
3:22 a.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 32, was cited for a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. Amanda Nicole Taylor, 30, was cited for Linn County warrants for failures to appear on original charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of methamphetamine, and an Albany warrant for animal abandonment.
7:12 a.m. – Report taken for attempted theft of a catalytic converter and criminal mischief at the school district.
10:20 a.m. – Caller reported theft of a catalytic converter, Santiam Hwy.
11:04 a.m. – Deputy patrolling Giustina property in 50500 block Highway 20 located “makeshift camping shelter,” which appeared to be “new activity” with a new fire ring. Left business card advising that this was no-camping area and private timber property.
12:20 p.m. – Logan Wallace, 32, of Lebanon, cited for operating a vehicle without driving privileges, 1000 block Park Street.
2:58 p.m. – Terry Lynn Bryant, 38, of Lebanon, cited for second-degree criminal trespassing after deputies investigated ATVs trespassing on Cascade Timber Consulting property, 26600 block Ames Creek Road.
4:02 p.m. – James W. Rood, 63, was counseled about drinking in public, Park St.
6:38 p.m. – Report taken for theft of flatbed trailer, Oak St.
7:49 p.m. – Single vehicle off the road, into a creek in 38600 block River Drive. John Pitts, 32, of Lebanon, was only occupant recorded by Sheriff’s Office, which indicated that there were more than one, who sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital. Report taken.
7:55 p.m. – Jessica Ann Jones, 24, was cited for following too closely, Santiam Hwy. Report taken for motor vehicle crash.
April 20
7:55 a.m. – Isaiah L. Lapin, 31, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 12th St. Report taken for motor vehicle crash.
1:02 p.m. – Deputy assisted two passers-by in catching baby sheep that was on shoulder of Highway 34. Deputy was able to return lamb to field, uninjured. Highway 34/Agan Road.
1:07 p.m. – Robert Gene Williams, 60, was cited for driver failure to yield when entering a roadway. Report taken for motor vehicle crash, Main St. Williams was also cited for an Albany warrant for contempt of court, and a Linn County warrant for parole violation for possession of methamphetamine.
3:26 p.m. – A flight instructor who landed at the Lebanon airport reported a suspicious sign on one of the hangars. The sign said the hangar is booby trapped. The airport manager laughed and told the officer it is a joke and not a credible threat.
6:30 p.m. – Deputies handled civil matter between two men spurned by same romantic interest. 700 block East Isabella Street.
11:15 p.m. – Angelique Barnes, 47, of Albany, and Michael Broach, 34, of California, were both transported to hospital after vehicle went into the oncoming lane, causing head-on collision, according to Sheriff’s log. Further details unavailable. Investigation is ongoing. 32300 block Denny School Road/Airport Drive.
April 21
12:50 a.m. – Cody Bowman, 31, of Sweet Home, cited for driving while suspended, 4000 block Santiam Highway/Weirich Drive.
10:47 a.m. – Nathan David Rictor, 34, was cited for cell phone use while driving, 5th St.
11:09 a.m. – Leslie Kirsten Werner, 58, was cited for cell phone use while driving, Santiam Hwy.
11:47 a.m. – Jamie Lynn Sloat, 37, was cited for cell phone use while driving, driving uninsured, and for a Linn County warrant for parole violation for failure to appear II, 7th St.
1:03 p.m. – Joseph Eric White, 22, was cited for cell phone use while driving, Main St.
1:26 p.m. – Caller reported a male possibly carrying a catalytic converter. Officer made contact with Sonny Allen Agrelius, 23, and cited him for an Albany warrant for theft II, a Linn County warrant for parole violation escape II, and a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original criminal citation.
2:21 p.m. – Stacey Mae Stevens, 52, was cited for cell phone use while driving, Main St.
5:23 p.m. – Katrina Counts, 50, of Lebanon, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured after traffic stop for equipment violations, 1900 Stoltz Hill Road.
5:32 p.m. – Non-injury hit-and-run crash. According to Sheriff’s Office, Mark Davenport, 45, of Lebanon, was traveling on Rock Hill Drive when a vehicle in front of him slammed on its brakes, causing him to hit the back of that vehicle. It then sped off. Deputies responded and investigation is ongoing. 36600 Rock Hill Drive/Stoltz Hill Road.
11:09 p.m. – Crystal Leeann Potter, 40, was cited for a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original criminal citation.
April 22
9:11 a.m. – Aaleijah Taylor Thomas, 25, of Lebanon, cited and released on multiple warrants after deputies responded to non-injury crash in 31000 block Berlin Road/Bellinger Road.
1:02 p.m. – Benny Hardin, 49, of Lebanon, cited for driving without a license and failure to obey a traffic control device after allegedly causing a T-bone crash in 30800 block Waterloo Road/Old Santiam Highway. Report taken. Later cited and released on warrant.
1:13 p.m. – Rebecca Young, 32, of Albany, arrested for multiple warrants from multiple agencies, Oak and Main streets.
4:42 p.m. – Sunne Dawn Sears, 37, was cited for speeding, 2nd St.
4:46 p.m. – Jorge David Campos, 18, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 3rd St. Report taken for motor vehicle crash.

5:54 a.m. – Report taken for theft of a license plate, Rose St.
11:40 a.m. – Morgan Lumpkin was cited for an Albany warrant for trespassing II, and was trespassed from city parks for one year for smoking and quasi-sexual activity. Michael Ryan Vangelder, 33, was trespassed from all city parks for 30 days for smoking and performing a sexual act in the restroom. Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 31, was cited for Sweet Home warrants for failures to appear on original charges of trespassing.
12:54 p.m. – Report taken for attempted fraud with a fake $100 bill, Santiam Hwy.
1:37 p.m. – Caller reported suspicious circumstances, Airport Road. Someone pounded on her door, took her shoes, screamed and growled, and threw a bracelet at her door. The night before, someone put mayonnaise on her car. A sign at the complex has been stolen, and the dumpster has been lit on fire.
3:28 p.m. – Caller reported that trash can was taken from 37200 block Deer Lane between hours of 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Unknown suspects.
5:42 p.m. – Report taken for theft of a catalytic converter some time in the past two months, Weirich Dr.
7:54 p.m. – Joshua Katelnikoff, 35, of Alaska, arrested for driving under the influence after a witness reported him as a DUII driver, 38900 block Sodaville Waterloo Drive. According to Sheriff’s log, Katelnikoff refused to take field sobriety tests, but did provide a breath test indicating blood alcohol content of .19%, Cited and released for DUII and reckless driving. April 24
1:26 p.m. – 17-year-old female cited for driving without a license, driving uninsured, 35800 block Hwy. 34. Warned for expired registration. Name not available from Sheriff’s log.

9:31 a.m. – Report taken for theft of purse and medications from vehicle, Santiam Hwy.
1:27 p.m. – Hudson was cited for Lebanon warrants for probation violation, disorderly conduct, and failure to appear on an original criminal citation, and for a Linn County warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

10:05 a.m. – Castillo Aldrete, 65, of Vancouver, Wash., cited for driving uninsured and driving wrong way on one-way street, 000 block Maple St.
11:07 a.m. – Caller reported an employee took his debit card after he went through the drive thru at Jack in the Box the night before. He was distracted and didn’t realize it was not returned to him. About $150 had since been charged to the card. Summer Moore was charged with theft II and fraudulent use of a credit card.
2:27 p.m. – Morgan Lumpkin was cited and taken into custody for a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original criminal citation, and Linn County warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of probation violation for possession of meth, probation violation and burglary II.
2:40 p.m. – Caller reported a male tried to drill out a lock on the self service wash, Main St.

4:51 a.m. – Caller reported that suspect broke into two vehicles, stole a number of items in 33600 block Penny Lane. Specifics unavailable on most of thefts. Garmin GPS valued at $135 missing from one vehicle. Report taken.
7:26 a.m. – Report taken for theft of multiple items including two magnetic business signs and a drone remote control from a vehicle, Mullins Dr. Loss valued at $2,700.
7:31 a.m. – Suspect entered multiple vehicles on dead-end drive earlier in the morning, 33600 block Penny Lane. Investigation continuing.
7:36 a.m. – Clarneau was trespassed from city parks for 30 days for an drinking alcohol, and cited for probation violation for failure to report as a sex offender. Michael J. Klass, 41, was trespassed from city parks for 30 days for smoking.
12:59 p.m. – Deputy investigated report of dead calf dumped about a month before in 33500 block Brewster Road. It was reported that the calf appeared to have been butchered, and only bones, hide and head were dumped. Predators had finished off most of the rest, according to Sheriff’s report.
4:35 p.m. – Caller reported theft from motor vehicle in 37500 block Gore Drive. Loss estimated at $40. Investigation under way. Report taken.
6:49 p.m. – Patricia Esther Ball, 52, was cited for driving while suspended, improper left turn and driving uninsured, Santiam Hwy.

April 29
2:28 a.m. – Taylor Nicole Torgeson, 24, was taken into custody for driving while under the influence of an intoxicant, Pineway. BAC .09.
12:31 p.m. – Report taken for recovery of a Mercedes Sedan that was reported stolen out of a dealership in Bellevue, Wash., Market St.
3:30 p.m. – Report taken for theft of two catalytic converters from company vehicles, 2nd St.
7:06 p.m. – Jaelynn Henderson, 19, of Lebanon, cited for speeding, 80/55, 36000 block Santiam Highway/Highway 226.
7:44 p.m. – Emily Pool, 22, of Albany, cited for speeding, 77/55, 4000 block Santiam Highway/Weirich Drive.
7:58 p.m. – Caller reported two females and male who appeared to be going through an older red Dodge pickup in 30300 block Fairview Road. They were gone upon deputy’s arrival, but the truck turned out to be a recovered stolen vehicle that had been crashed and totaled, according to Sheriff’s log. “Nothing of value was left with vehicle.”
8:49 p.m. – Mark Edward Morgan, 47, was cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance, Grant St.
April 30
6:41 a.m. – Jacob Noel Yonker, 36, was cited for an Albany warrant for providing false information to police, a Lebanon warrant for probation violation, and a Benton County warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
1:58 p.m. – Vincent Lee Holt, 50, was cited for a Linn County warrant for probation violation, possession of methamphetamine.
3:18 p.m. – Will Nathan Lewis III, 22, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, driving while suspended, and driving uninsured, Airport Rd.
3:29 p.m. – Caller reported a female was claiming she owned the property he just purchased, Oak Terrace. Kim Tracy Weir said the house was left to her in her mother’s will, but her sister sold the house without her knowledge.
3:30 p.m. – Dax Ballinger, 19, of Lebanon, cited for speeding, 38100 block Richardson Gap/Franklin Butte Road.
4:00 p.m. – Juanita Dorothy Heidt, 56. was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.

6:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male had all his belongings spread out on the sidewalk and was talking to the birds, Russell Dr.

9:13 p.m. – Caller reported someone driving a riding lawn mower up and down the road and it seems to be going faster than a regular mower, Park St.

4:17 p.m. – Deputies took report of vehicle break-in, 41600 block McDowell Creek Drive.
6:22 p.m. – Corey Brandon Ford, 30, was cited for a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal mischief II, and an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation.
6:59 p.m. – Monte Morehouse was cited for criminal trespass II and offensive littering, Burdell Blvd.
8:02 p.m. – Deputies conducted extra patrol in 31300 block Stoltz Hill Road/Blueberry Hill Road after caller reported suspicious vehicles racing and driving recklessly.
9:31 p.m. – Ashlee Willcox, 22, of Dallas, cited for careless driving after sideswiping utility pole, then colliding with another car. No injuries reported. 30300 block Fairview Road.
May 2
7:45 a.m. – Caller reported three males attempting to break into cars in 31200 block 1st Street, Waterloo. Nothing taken.
7:56 a.m. – Report taken for theft of a Honda Civic Hybrid. The vehicle was later found abandoned down an embankment.
9:00 a.m. – Stolen vehicle, a Honda, recovered in 43100 block McDowell Creek Drive (McDowell Creek Park). Stolen from Lebanon. Vehicle towed on May 5 due to being a hazard. Report taken.
8:05 p.m. – Willa Raie Harris, 50, was cited for a Linn County warrant for probation violation failure to appear, and a Lebanon warrant for probation violation.
10:34 p.m. – Deputy responded to assist medics after store employee fell and suffered head injury. Deputy investigated, ruled out foul play. Employee transported to hospital with “serious injury,” according to Sheriff’s log.
May 3
7:38 a.m. – Report taken for theft of a Taurus Millenium G2 firearm and tools from a vehicle, Elmore St.
10:54 a.m. – Caller reported a business was burgled during the night, Main St. Called back 10 minutes later to report a big snake got out and trashed the business.
11:47 a.m. – Caller reported theft of catalytic converter some time in the past month, Larkspur St. Loss valued at $800.
12:07 p.m. – Caller reported subjects were pulled out in the road on Rock Hill, at the Land Lab forcing him to swerve around them into oncoming lane, and then they tailgated him.
1:01 p.m. – Caller reported a traffic complaint about vehicles blocking the street while picking kids up from school, 10th St. She lives down the street and honked her horn. The driver got out and the two got into a heated argument.
2:26 p.m. – Report taken for counterfeit checks created on the victim’s business account, Grant St.
3:03 p.m. – Christopher Walter, 40, lodged at Linn County Jail for violation of a no-contact order, 31100 block Kay Street. Report taken.

May 4
7:22 a.m. – Leeroy Travis Freeman, 55, was trespassed from city parks for 30 days.

12:52 p.m. – Caller reported the men’s bathroom toilet has been intentionally plugged with baby wipes twice within the last hour, Grant St.
3:20 p.m. – Report taken for theft by deception, 2nd St. Loss valued at $500.
7:25 p.m. – Caller reported loud music and bass at skate park. Responding officer did not hear it. Caller again reported music was loud again and she threatened to take a gun and start shooting. Responding officer did not hear it. Caller said they have lookouts and he must have been spotted.
7:19 p.m. – Ivan James Robison, 24, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 6th St.
7:37 p.m. – Hit-and-run motor vehicle crash reported in 39200 block River Drive. Kelsey Kirkpatrick, 37, of Lebanon, was driving a 2021 Toyota SNA south on River Road when she slowed to turn into a driveway. A Pontiac Bonne-ville passed her, clipping the front driver’s side of her vehicle as she was turning in a no-passing zone. Driver of the Pontiac was picked up by a silver Chevy SUV with Washington license plates. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

9:17 a.m. – Caller reported a male lying in the grass at a park with his pants down, and he yelled at her, Wheeler St.
4:35 p.m. – Caller reported her boyfriend was hit with a pack of towels at Lowe’s distribution center and wanted to know if it was assault. Male was treated with a finger splint. The male is an employee at Lowe’s, and the safety manager had tossed a roll of paper towels to him. When catching the roll, he sprained his finger. He didn’t feel the manager’s intent was malicious.

1:38 a.m. – Caller reported suspicious person in 2200 block May Lane. Deputies did not locate the individual, but did locate their “shopping carts that were full of rubbish.” No crimes.
12:26 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance reported in 31900 block Bellinger Scale Road. Cooler on side of road that smelled. Deputy checked cooler and located used diapers.

She admitted to using the laundromat after hours because the door was propped open, and she left the clothes in the dryer until morning. 4:39 p.m. – Caller reported a male in a black Chevy Tahoe was honking and following her while driving and trying to get her to pull over. She has children in the car and is scared. Officer pulled over Michael Joseph Schlimmer, 52, who said he was driving from Springfield to Salem, taking the coastal route and taking random turns on his way. He admitted to his behavior, and agreed to leave.

3:42 a.m. – Orville Thompson, of Lebanon, cited and released on Linn County warrant, 100 block N. Santiam Hwy.
7:33 a.m. – Caller reported a male setting up camp with three shopping carts and a stroller at Porter Park. Officer did not find the male, but seized two suitcases and miscellaneous items, and threw away trash.
9:21 a.m. – Corey Eugene Myers, 36, was cited for a Sweet Home warrant for contempt, criminal trespassing.
12:47 p.m. – Deputy responded to 9-1-1 hangup call in 400 block Linden Street. Arrived on scene to find that caller had pocket-dialed 9-1-1 while the phone was in his pocket as he mowed his lawn. All good.

1:10 a.m. – Deputies responded to single-vehicle crash in 36600 block Courtney Creek Road, Brownsville. According to Sheriff’s log, Jacob Wheeler, 20, of Lebanon, came around corner and lost control of vehicle. No injuries, no property damage, no citations.
4:37 a.m. – Caller reported DeWalt tools stolen from work truck during night in 37200 block Meredith Loop. Further details unavailable. Report taken.
4:53 a.m. – Caller reported a male was “messing with” cars in parking lot, he was lying under the car. Upon inspection, the catalytic converter was partially cut. Eric Steven York, 36, was cited for a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original citation.
7:22 a.m. – Caller reported the LINX bus regularly “blows through” stop signs at 2nd at Tangent and Harrison streets, and also sees city trucks regularly run through stop signs around town.

5:01 p.m. – Via MyPD app, complainant reported dog waste was being disposed of in the alleyway at E St, and the warm weather is causing it to smell. The dog owner Kathy Marie Schwieger, 61, admitted she throws the feces into the alleyway. Officer advised her that was illegal.
