12:05 a.m. – Edward Allen, 53, of Lebanon, was cited on warrant for probation violation after a caller reported a suspicious male in the 700 block of Crowfoot Road. Report taken.
8:04 a.m. – Two mountain bikes reported stolen from the back of a pickup, Sugarberry Lane. One was described as a white/black/gray Giant Rein with snow camo graphics and gold handlebars (value: $4,000); the second was described as a red/black Giant Glory II with dual crown forks (value: $4,000). Both were locked. The locks appeared to have been picked. Report taken.
Nov. 12
1:48 p.m. – Resident reported the theft of a wallet. He said he went to Walmart on the afternoon of Nov. 8 and was riding a motorized shopping cart in the store. He reported that he believed he had his dark brown wallet in his back pocket. He checked with Customer Service, but no wallet had been turned in. Missing items included his driver’s license, a Selco card, $300 and an EBT card.  Report taken.
5:18 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary on Ash St. The back door was broken open while she was at work. Jewelry was missing from the bedroom. Report taken.

9:48 a.m. – Caller reported a dirt bike and outdoor equipment stolen from the 600 block of Central Ave. Value: approximately $11,200. Motorcycle was described as 2020KTM 250 SX. Also taken was fishing gear and a pellet gun.  Report taken.
10:35 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of $7,596.25 worth of airline miles, 31300 block of Blackberry Lane. Report taken.
11:43 a.m. – Caller reported she had left her black Coach purse with silver studs in a cart at Safeway the previous day, and it was stolen. The purse contained a driver’s license, credit cards and papers. Report taken. Main St.
4:22 p.m. – Caller reported four possible “murder hornets” trapped in a bucket and wanted deputies to take a look. Deputies identified the bugs as beetles. 29400 block of Santiam Terrace Road.

8:20 a.m. – Kate Lorraine Hartnell, 35, was cited for use of cell phone while driving, Airport Road.
10:54 a.m. – Caller reported a large group of sheep in a cemetery, 27300 block of Cemetery Road. Sheep owner was able to return them to the field. No damage.
5:20 p.m. – Miranda Hampton, 27, of Vernonia, was cited for driving while suspended after being pulled over for having white light shining in the rear of vehicle, Brewster Road/Lacomb Drive.
Nov. 16
9:02 p.m. – Driver cited for driving without a license after a deputy spotted a vehicle “driving in a suspicious manner,” followed it out of Waterloo Park and stopped it in the 39500 block of Gross St. Driver with valid license responded to remove vehicle. Name was unavailable at press time.
9:09 p.m. – Kyle Combs, 24, of Salem, was cited for driving without a license, Waterloo Road/Old Santiam Hwy.

8:23 a.m. – Caller reported fraudulent Amazon purchases, 32900 block of Tennessee Road. Reported loss: $283.20. Report taken.
3:03 p.m. – Police and medics responded to Grant Street, where a man identified as John Maham jumped from the bridge. He was rescued after grabbing a branch as he floated downstream. Taken to hospital.
3:53 p.m. – Aaron Roy Welch, 30, was cited for speeding, 44/25, driving while suspended and failure to install an interlock ignition device. Tangent St.
5:40 p.m. – Elisha Joel Rowe, 18, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. Fifth Street. Vehicle towed.
Nov. 18
2:11 a.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle accident after a bull got out of pasture in the 31500 block of Stoltz Hill Road and was hit by a truck. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Blake Pulliam, 29, of Lebanon, struck the  bull standing in the road. Bull was put down by its owner because of the injuries.  Report taken.
7:02 a.m. – Robert Gene Cox, 42, was arrested on multiple warrants after a caller reported that a male had thrown a rock and punched his truck on Main Street near the Bi-Mart parking lot. Report taken.
4:43 p.m. – Dallas Michael Loewen Beutel, 28, was cited on an outstanding Linn County Justice Court warrant following a traffic stop on Main St.
5:52 p.m. – A single-vehicle vehicle crash was reported in the 35400 block of Meridian Road when a driver veered from the roadway to avoid hitting another vehicle. Report taken.
6:55 p.m. – Zachary Johnson, 31, of Corvallis, was arrested on an Albany Municipal Court warrant. 4000 block of Santiam Hwy. Report taken.
11:08 p.m. – Jonathan H. Trisdale, 41, was cited for second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct after a report of disturbance on Market St. Trisdale allegedly broke a car window with a rock and was picking fights in the area.

6:59 a.m. – Caller reported bikes stolen from a Third Street residence. Described as a red Coleman CT100, a red Coleman CT200 and two camo-painted Mossimo mini bikes. Report taken.
12:35 p.m. – Amy Conner, 42, of Lebanon, was cited for nuisance, barking dog, 400 block of Cascade Drive.
3:10 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary on Willow St. Numerous power and hand tools were stolen. Value: approximately $2,000. No sign of damage to the house, which was being remodeled. One rear window was unlocked. Report taken.
3:34 p.m. – Myron Eric Nowlin, 44, was arrested for multiple warrants, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, following a traffic stop on Crowfoot Road.  Report taken.
8:36 p.m. – Justin Graber, 18, of Sweet Home, was cited for speeding, 83/55, Santiam Hwy./Fairview Road.
9:02 p.m. – David Knight, 28, of Taft, Calif., was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, Santiam Hwy./Olmart Way.

3:32 p.m. – Timothy Glassco, 24, of Sweet Home, was cited for failure to install an ignition interlock device after a traffic stop for expired tags. Main/Elmore streets.
4:37 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a gray Trek 7100 hybrid 10-speed bike from a Hiatt St. residence. Value $300. Report taken.

1:21 p.m. – Richard W. Worley, 32, was cited for driving while suspended following traffic stop, Third St.
1:45 p.m. – Schrene Worley, 52, of Lebanon, was arrested on multiple warrants. 400 block of Center St. Report taken.
1:45 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary that resulted in the damage of a shed on Oak Terrace. Nothing was missing. The shed contains a community well that services some 14 homes on Joy and Dorothy.  The door was damaged from being forced open.
2:07 p.m. – Ivan J. Robison, 34, was cited on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant following a traffic stop on Main St. Report taken.
2:25 p.m. – Daryn David Hill, 28, was cited and released for second-degree criminal mischief, after he allegedly cut a video camera cable at a Main St. location. Later in the day, Hill was arrested on an outstanding Lebanon Municipal Court warrant. Report taken.
2:35 p.m. – Stephen Michael Scantlin, 48, was cited and released on multiple warrants, Main St. Report taken.
3:51 p.m. – Caller reported a cell phone stolen after it was left at Lebanon Market, Main St., on the evening of Nov. 19. Described as Samsung Galaxy A71, blue in black case. Valued at $400. Report taken.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported two catalytic converters stolen from vehicles parked at AAMCO Transmission, Santiam Hwy., over the weekend. Report taken.

5:43 a.m. – Jesse Smith, 29, of Sweet Home, was cited for driving while suspended, Airport Road/Eighth St.
7:45 a.m. – Deputies responded to a report of a crash involving a school bus in the area of Griggs Drive/Ponderosa Lane. The crash was “minor,” according to the Sheriff’s Office. Students were evaluated by medics and parents were notified. Both vehicles were able to drive from the scene.
7:54 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen from Stoltz Hill Road address. Described as a blue 2003 Chevy Blazer with a red “Let it Pour” and colored races hand stickers on rear. Further details unavailable. Report taken.

1:49 a.m. – Eddie Zarr, 42, of Lebanon, was cited for driving while suspended, Tangent/Sixth streets.
4:11 a.m. – Deputies responded to assist the fire department with a fully engulfed vehicle fire. Driver Elwin Salter, 52, of Albany, pulled over because he smelled fuel. Salter exited his vehicle as it became engulfed in flames. He was uninjured. The Sheriff’s Office deemed the incident “non-criminal.” Report taken. Brewster Road/Griggs Drive.
8:38 a.m. – Daniel Beatty, 33, of Lebanon, was cited for speeding, 84/55, Santiam Hwy./Fairview Road.
5:26 p.m. – Katrina Counts, 50, of Lebanon, was cited on warrant. Mill St./Russell Drive.
11:31 p.m. – A bull elk was discovered badly injured after being struck by a car. Deputy responded and dispatched the animal. 30600 block of Brownsville Road.

2:26 a.m. – Richard Odstrcil Hadechek, 33, of Lebanon, was cited for multiple traffic violation citations, Park/Elmore streets. Details unavailable. Licensed driver responded to remove the vehicle.
3:59 p.m. – Marissa James, 18, of Redmond, was cited for speeding, 80/55, 30300 block of Santiam Hwy.
9:01 p.m. – Rebecca Thomas, 30, of Albany, was cited for speeding, 67/40, 33400 block of Santiam Hwy.
10:11 p.m. – Kayci Cameron Thomas Flaska, 20, of Lebanon, was arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree escape and resisting arrest. Cited for minor in possession of alcohol. Lodged at Linn County Jail. 31100 block of Old Santiam Hwy.

3:50 p.m. – Conan Lee Dehut, 40, was taken into custody on a statewide felony warrant out of Santiam Corrections Institution following a disorderly disturbance call on Santiam Hwy. Report taken.

3:37 a.m. – Andrew Eugene Duncan, 30, was cited for driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance, after a traffic stop on Rose St.
8:17 a.m. – Caller reported finding a gray cloth bag containing several Social Security cards, registration documents for two separate vehicles, two Washington driver’s licenses belonging to the same person and three cell phones on the street across from her home on Second St. Items recovered by police. 12:07 p.m. – Caller reported being scammed out of $3,250, 39000 block of Mt. Hope Drive. The victim paid for gift cards, or so they thought, and the scammer did not follow through after advertising a “deal” that would have given the victim more than they were paying for, according to the Sheriff’s Office. 3:33 p.m. – Michael James VanGundy, 44, was cited on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant, after a caller complained that VanGundy and a female companion were camping in the Walgreens parking lot. Both were trespassed from Walgreens. Report taken.

10:39 p.m. – Caller reported coming home from vacation to find a Honda Civic missing. After a valley-wide alert was issued, the vehicle was reported located by Salem Police earlier in the day. Report taken.

9:43 p.m. – Josalyn Holguin, of Lebanon, was cited for speeding, 900 block of W. Airport Road.
7:10 p.m. – Caller reported a theft from Walgreens store, Burdell Ave. According to store staff, a female selected a $29.99 6-in-1 Braun trimmer and left without paying for it. She was described as approximately 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, with gray sweatshirt and black leggings. Documented.
10:27 p.m. – Benjamin J. Grossman was arrested for Linn County Circuit Court warrant, and for first-degree trespass, resisting arrest and providing false information to a police officer following a report of trespassers in an empty house on Wheeler St. that had burned earlier in the year. 6:56 a.m. – Andrew James Gillespie, 30, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.  Fifth St.
8:02 a.m. – A caller reported his Chevy Silverado had been egged multiple times over the past month, and earlier in the morning he discovered his side view mirror popped out, though not damaged. Second St.
8:25 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a water treatment plant on Second St. Suspect left after being confronted. Described as middle-aged male with beard, short height, thin build, black beanie and black backpack. Report taken.
9:52 a.m. – Caller reported a Craftsman drill press stolen from Kees St. address. Caller reported that multiple tools had been stolen in the past. The drill press was discovered later at Fast Cash, where it had been pawned on Dec. 6. Report taken.
