12:03 a.m .- Kirstopher Ray Moak, 40, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for PV, 1500 block Main. Lodged at LCJ.
4:46 a.m. – Raymond Lyle Tressel, 30, arrested by LCSO on SHMC warrant for FTC in vehicle burglary case. Cited to appear June 24.
6:43 a.m. – Caller from 4300 block Nandina reported people at location “that shouldn’t be there.” Officer responded, located dog inside building that was taken to neighbor’s house. Report taken for criminal trespass.
8:32 a.m .- Rodger Lynn Sechrest, 66, cited for DWS, DU. 700 block Long.
10:33 a.m. – Caller reported possible dead eagle on side of road on Highway 20. Officer was unable to locate bird; caller said it was “between Lebanon and Sweet Home.” Info passed on to OSP.
11:56 a.m .- Caller from Sweet Home Veterinary Hospital asked for officer to investigate a dog that had several gunshot wounds and needed to be euthanized. Officer responded, report taken, investigation continuing. According to SHPD, as of press time Monday, the report had not been confirmed.
12:04 p.m. – Caller reported truck backed into her vehicle in 1000 block 26th Court. Officer responded, report taken for non-reportable crash. No injuries. Parties exchanged information.
12:28 p.m. – Caller reported crash at Thriftway, 621 Main. Officer responded, parties handled matter civilly, No injuries.
5:14 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles throwing knives at each other in 1300 block Westwood. Officer contacted juveniles who, it turned out, were playing with sticks, not knives. Officer determined no safety concerns.
8:06 p.m. – Caller reported male on roof in 900 block 22nd. Officer contacted male, who was simply watching graduation at Husky Stadium. Officer determined nothing suspicious was taking place.
9:51 p.m. – Overdose reported in 200 block 18th. Medics responded. No further details.
11:01 p.m. – Thomas Junior McCarthy, 62, arrested for DWS, 1000 block Main. Cited and released. Warned for no rear plate.

9:22 a.m. – Heather Moyian Tidwell cited for speeding, 45/35, Osage/Main.
2:04 p.m. – Caller reported daughter’s ex-boyfriend threatening to burn their house down, 700 block Dogwood. Officer took report for harassment, which was forwarded to City Attorney’s Office for review.
2:41 p.m. – Caller reported their vehicle was hit in 300 block 11th on previous day. Caller wanted info noted and extra patrol.
3:16 p.m. – Crash reported in area of Main/49th. According to SHPD, Wallisfaye Morgan, 84, operating a 2026 Kia K4, was northbound on 49th and stopped at Main. She told police she didn’t see any traffic, so she proceeded into the intersection, turning westbound, when she was struck in the rear by Timothy Robuck, 43, operating a 2000 Dodge R15 pickup. Roebuck was cited for DWS and DU.
3:36 p.m. – Chase Leif Stec, 30, cited for speeding, 62/45, Main/22nd.
4:04 p.m. – Caller reported teen bitten by dog in 1200 block 1st. Officer responded, determined teen had puncture wound. According to SHPD, the dog owner’s child let the dog, described as “mixed breed,” off its lead, and it bit the back of a leg of a 17-year-old male walking by on the sidewalk. Dog owner issued quarantine order.
6:13 p.m. – Caller reported landlord had forged documents, 1100 block Juniper. Officer took report for forgery I, investigation continuing.
8:48 p.m. – Caller reported he was trying to gather his mother’s property in 1000 block Poplar. Second caller reported that male was trying to gather property his mother was not allowed to have. Officer responded, property returned. Male trespassed.

June 3
Sweet Home Police
1:16 a.m. – Acea Lee Clark Anderson, 34, arrested for theft I, assault IV and computer crimes, 1200 block 46th. The arrest stemmed from a call on May 26 from Salem reporting that the caller was being harassed by a Sweet Home resident and a second caller, from Sweet Home, who reported the theft of her dog, money and fraudulent use of a credit card, which launched an investigation. Anderson lodged at LCJ.
6:50 a.m . – Caller reported crew working on roof before 7 a.m., in violation of city ordinance. Officer contacted site manager, who was advised of city ordinance and process of getting permit to work outside set hours if necessary.
10:02 a.m. – Caller reported that items were stolen from her deceased son’s residence, 900 block Mountain View. An acquaintance of her son’s had allegedly been inside the residence. Missing items included blue Aipas-M1 Pro Xterrain street E-bike valued at approximately $800, $1,836 worth of Milwaukee tools. Investigation continuing.
4:38 p.m. – Juvenile, 17, cited for speeding, 31/20, 1100 block 22nd.
5:51 p.m. – Multiple callers reported crash in area of Main/22nd. According to SHPD, Beverly Jeanete Crocker, 85, driving an Acura TSX, was traveling south on 22nd and stopped at the stop sigh at Main Street. She told police she did not see any traffic until after she had proceeded out into the intersection. . Natalia Arroyo, 25, driving a Hyundai Elantra, was westbound on Main and Crocker stopped when she saw Arroyo’s vehicle, but Arroyo did not have time to avoid a collision. Arroyo was cited for DWS, DU. Her vehicle was impounded. Crocker was referred to DMV for retest.
6:20 p.m. – Hanna Connelly, 32, cited for DU, failure to stop for pedestrian in crosswalk, 1500 block Main.
7:50 p.m. – Denise Marie Sanders, 60, arrested on three counts of animal abandonment, 1000 block Poplar. Arrest was partly in connection with two kittens reported abandoned on May 22, according to SHPD. Sanders cited and released.

3:03 p.m. – Deputy responded to report of suspicious vehicle on CTC land that had trash around it and appeared to be a campsite. When deputy arrived, vehicle was gone and the only remaining items were an empty bag of chips and a few wrappers. Hwy. 20/Canyon Creek.
4:39 p.m. – Deputy, along with ODF and SHFAD, responded to reports of fire in area of Marks Ridge/Ridgeway. ODF eventually determined the source was a recreational fire at an area summer camp.
10:42 p.m. – Terri Jefferson, 60, of Sweet Home, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, 1100 block Main.

1:31 p.m. – Deputy observed collision at Santiam Hwy./Sturtevant and provided aid until OSP arrived to take charge. Further details not immediately available.

12:42 a.m. – Katherine Marie Berghoffer, 45, arrested by Corvallis police on SHMC warrant for FTA in theft case. Cited to appear June 24.
2:43 a.m .- Caller from Chewy’s Pub and Grub, 1200 12th, causing issues at location and refusing to leave. Officer responded, contacted male who was trespassed and refused offer of transport home.
5:23 a.m . – SHPD responded to report of male unconscious in vehicle at 1200 12th. Officer contacted male, who denied needing medical assistance and refused transport by medics. He would be sleeping in vehicle.
7:31 a.m. – Jessica Ashley Wynne arrested by LCSO on SHMC warrant for FTA in giving false information case. Cited to appear June 24.
9:32 a.m . – Caller from 1100 block 1st, reported brother, who recently was diagnosed with schizophrenia, had appeared the previous day and attempted to break caller’s window. Wanted incident documented in attempt to get help for brother.
10:06 a.m. – Caller from McDonald’s, 2000 Main, asked that male be trespassed. Officer trespassed male and took report for criminal mischief I, but caller did not want to pursue charges.
10:06 a.m .- Nakota James Mullins, 24, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation, 2000 block Main. Lodged at LCJ.
1:17 p.m. – Caller reported someone used her daughter’s name when she was a juvenile to obtain utilities. Crime occurred in Redmond, so officer forwarded information to Redmond police.
4:01 p.m. – Caller reported continuing fraudulent charges on credit card, 5300 block Poplar. Officer took report for computer crimes, theft II, fraudulent use of credit card. According to SHPD, the case has continued since Jan. 29 but has been suspended due to lack of documentation from victims.
4:02 p.m.- Paul WIlliam Kalina, 51, arrested on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft of services case, LMC warrant for probation violation, AMC warrant for contempt of court, 3000 block Main. Cited and released.
4:45 p.m. – Caller reported EBT card stolen, used by someone else. 100 block W. Holley. Officer took report for computer crimes, theft II. Losses valued at $394.58.
8:35 p.m. – Caller reported male and female fighting in 1400 block 24th, female fell and hit head. Officer responded; determined incident to be minor physical and victim did not want to pursue charges. Female transported by medics.
9:33 p.m. – Caller from Houck Evarts & Co., 1327 Long, reported female sitting in back of property. SHPD responded. Stephanie Irene Sparkweather, 38, arrested on SHMC warrants for FTA in two theft, and trespassing cases; LMC warrant for FTA in criminal citation case; and LCCC warrants for possession of meth, two possession of fentanyl cases; and seven criminal citations. He then felt dizzy and lightheaded, was afraid it was fentanyl. Officer found baggie with no substance or residue in it. Employee taken to hospital for evaluation.

10:11 a.m. – Deputy contacted semi truck operator about exhaust noise after multiple callers complained about his straight-pipe exhaust system, 200 block N. Main, Brownsville.
10:27 a.m. – Linn County Search and Rescue requested Air National Guard assistance in rescuing injured Pacific Coast Trail hiker. Patient was transported to Lebanon by LCSO. Forest Service 1234 Camp.
11:16 a.m. – Crash reported in 27600 block Liberty. Single-vehicle. Driver transported to SLCH. Report taken.

7:17 p.m. – Citizens in 700 block Templeton, Brownsville, complained that neighbor’s four dogs are defecating in their yard and neighbor was not listening to requests to clean up. Deputies assisted.
7:56 p.m. – Julien Debruge, 19, of Beaverton, cited for speeding, 31 mph-plus over speed limit, Hwy. 20/Liberty.

10:50 p.m. – Madalin Hugley, 19, of Lebanon, cited for DWS, DU. Passenger warned for no seat belt. Santiam Hwy./Russell.
11:22 p.m. – Robert Rios, 40, of Lebanon, arrested for DUII, reckless driving after deputy arrested vehicle speeding, driving erratically in area of Hwy. 34/Red Bridge. According to LCSO, vehicle failed to yield and then crashed. No injuries. Lebanon police assisted.

8:49 a.m. – Caller reported camper parked behind old City Hall, 1100 block 12th. Officer contacted female who was advised of complaint, will be moving on.
3:12 p.m. – Caller reported male staying in tent at Highway 20 Church of Christ, 3025 Main. Officer contacted male, who was trespassed and moved along.
4:37 p.m .- Caller reported someone broke into her house, 2200 block Main. Officer took report for criminal mischief II, investigation continuing.
4:52 p.m. – Jeremy Dean Ough, 55, arrested after turning himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for disorderly conduct. Cited and released.
6:04 p.m. – Caller reported tent with occupants in 1400 block Nandina. Officer located vacant tent, will check back later to trespass owners.
7:11 p.m. – Caller reported aggressive dog in 1200 block 4th, who almost bit caller’s daughter. Officer contacted responsible parties, who were warned for city code violation.
7:59 p.m .- Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 50, arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrant for FTA in disorderly conduct case. Cited to appear June 24.
9:52 p.m. – Caller reported male screaming, acting suspiciously in area of 15th/Nandina. Officer contacted male, who would not ID himself and appeared to be having mental health issues. He denied help. He was advised of complaint and moved to “public property.”
10:37 p.m .- Jason Allen Caso, 33, arrested on LCCC warrant in two criminal mischief, resisting arrest and FTA cases. 1800 block Main. Cited and released.

1:53 a.m. – Juvenile girl saw someone standing outside bedroom window, 200 block Pine St. Gates to backyard were locked, no person found.
9:35 a.m. – Pamela Jean Smith, 65, cited for trespassing city parks.
11:02 a.m. – Shopper drew $40 cash back at Walmart self-checkout, but forgot to take cash. Returned and cash was gone.
11:27 a.m. – Robert Allan Chastain, 68, trespassed for life from railroad and property, 1155 Park St.
12:23 p.m. – Subject on dating apps received text from someone claiming to be in Mexican cartel and a brothel pimp who listed subject’s family members and threatened him for money because he spoke to one of the pimp’s girls.
1:08 p.m. – Subject recently released from jail for assaulting caller, has been living in her backyard despite he has a no contact order. Micah Joe Williams, 48, arrested for violating his conditional release.
8:15 p.m. – Male “wacking his weiner” at caller’s back door while staring in at them, 000 block Market St. He’s done this twice, plus looked in through neighbor’s back door. Caller also reported a car that drove by 12 times, she confronted him from gawking at her. Unsure if it’s related.
10:27 p.m. – Bryan James Hortt, 44, cited for theft II and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
