A section of S Second Street will be closed to through traffic between Airport Road and Kees Street (from Southside Church to Linn Lanes Bowling) to allow for utilities and roadway construction for the newly approved Black Rock Apartments.
The 12-unit apartment complex will be built on the southwest corner of Airport Road and Second Street.
The closure hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the following dates:
Thursday, Dec. 7
Friday, Dec. 8
Monday, Dec. 11
Tuesday, Dec. 12
Residents and businesses in the impacted area will be afforded reasonable access but should expect short periods of time where access to individual driveways may not be possible in addition to periodic delays and other related inconveniences.
