Public Safety: April 2017

*All information presented herein is obtained from publicly available Oregon court and law enforcement records. The Oregon Public Records Law, as detailed in the Attorney General’s Public Records and Meeting Manual, allows public access to these records. Every individual named or referenced is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

April 5
7 a.m. – Items were stolen from inside of Reese’s Auto Sales. Items of note: three Hydroflask bottles with “Reese’s” engraved on them. One vehicle was entered. A report for burglary was taken.

10:49 a.m. – A caller reported that a 52-inch straight light bar was stolen off the front of his pick-up truck sometime overnight in the Lebanon High School parking lot. He returned from an event and went home around 9:30 p.m. the night before but did not see if the light bar was there or not. It is a white LED Cree brand valued at $52.

1:52 p.m. – A city employee reported he thought he found a dead body in the canal behind Wing Ming. Huston Jost was on the scene. There was a physical check of the location by the city of Albany on March 31. The body was later identified as Robert Lawrence Hayes, 51, of Lebanon.

6:55 p.m. – Brennan Tyler Seplocha, 25, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for contempt of court and probation violation, original charge of driving while suspended violation. He also had a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear, original charge possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. A report was taken.

April 4
11:36 a.m. – A man found a wallet in the middle of Seven Mile Lane this morning. He took the wallet to the Justice Center.

11:51 a.m. – While patrolling during his lunchtime, the school resource officer found a group of eight to 10 students in the alleyway between Fifth and Sixth Streets and D and E Streets. The students saw him and half started running down the alley, away from the area. The SRO identified the students in the group and those that returned to school were counseled. One of the students admitted to smoking marijuana but he did not have any of the substance on him. The school is handling the disciplining of the students involved.

2:21 p.m. – A caller found a pomeranian dog with pink bows and a collar running around in the roadway in the 700 block of Crowfoot Road. She was advised by Linn County Animal Control to call LPD. A photo of the dog was posted on Facebook. The dog’s owner was found and her roommate picked up the dog, Lady.

2:33 p.m. – Several vehicles that were parked in a car lot had windows broken out and items taken sometime overnight, in the 1200 block of S. Main Street. A report was taken.

4:16 p.m. – Three Oxycontin pills were found near the front entrance of Lebanon High School. A report was taken.

4:47 p.m. – Security personnel for Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital found a Jack Russell roaming in the parking lot. Dog control advised them to take the dog to the Justice Center since it is within the city limits. A photo was posted on Facebook.

11:12 p.m. – Tyler Thorn Hoskinson, 20, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, original charge second-degree theft.

11:17 p.m.  – Joshua Paul Eli, 28, turned himself in to LPD on Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear, contempt of court, and probation violation.

April 3
1:53 p.m. – A man stole whey powder from Safeway and then a woman tried to return it. She said she wanted to return a jug of Muscle Milk because it was the wrong flavor, but she did not have a receipt. She agreed to leave the product with an employee pending management contact. Management reviewed video and found that prior to the woman returning the product, a man left with the same product. And the two were witnessed in the same vehicle. Recovered loss value: $32.99. A report was taken.

4:18 p.m. – A caller said he was having issues with the juveniles playing basketball in the area, in the 700 block of E. Elmore Street. He said he has spoken with the juveniles and their parents, who do not seem to care about his concerns. The juveniles were counseled and were respectful. The caller was advised. No report was taken.

11:39 p.m. – A woman learned that someone attempted to use her credit or debit card at Walmart. She believed her purse fell out of her car when she stepped out for a few minutes. It was black leather with a shoulder strap, zipper pocket on one side, and an open pocket on the other. It contained silver wire frame prescription sunglasses, $25 cash, credit and debit cards, drivers license, insurance cards and social security card. All credit and debit cards were canceled.

April 2
5:50 p.m. – Someone wrote anti-Trump messages on a brick wall at Pioneer School with colored chalk. Nothing is on the wall that can’t wait to be cleaned off in the morning. No report was taken.

April 1
1:43 p.m. – Two large dogs were loose in the area of E. Elmore and Eddie Streets. A caller reported the dogs possibly killed a cat. A report was taken.

3:35 p.m. – A Walmart employee reported an HP all-in-one computer was taken at 4:37 a.m. Loss value $349. A report for second-degree theft was taken.

4:34 p.m. – Kody Michael Elmer, 22, was arrested on a state-wide felony warrant out of Santiam Correctional Institute. He escaped from transition leave on Dec. 14, 2016. He had additional charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, resisting arrest, and giving false information. Linn County Sheriff’s Office said they would handle transport and additional charges.

March 31
11:23 a.m. – A half trailer full of trash was parked on N. Fifth Street. The owner of the trailer is unknown. It was tagged for tow April 3.

1:56 p.m. – A caller reported three firearms, clothing items and miscellaneous items were stolen from his residence in the 0-99 block of Pine Street. The firearms are a Glock 27.40, Smith and Wesson Bodyguard M&P .380, and a Benelli Nova Tactical 12 gauge shotgun. A report was taken.

4:54 p.m. – A woman left her wallet at the photo counter at Walmart. When she returned, it was gone. A report was taken.

5:55 p.m. – A caller said a German shepherd appeared neglected, in the 2700 block of S. 12th Street. She was lodged at the Justice Center and a photo was posted to Facebook. She did not have a chip.

March 29
8:01 a.m. – A vehicle reported stolen out of Salem was recovered in the 800 block of E Street. The vehicle was towed for the registered owner to retrieve. A report for recovered stolen vehicle was taken.

9:01 a.m. – A woman reported possible online ID theft. An informational report was taken.

1:31 p.m. – Kevin Dwane House, 32, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. He also had a Linn County Supervisory Authority warrant for probation violation, possession of methamphetamine. A library patron reported suspicious activity by a man in the men’s restroom. There were clothes strewn on the floor and a couple of men inside. An officer checked and House said he was power napping in the restroom. He was counseled and arrested on the warrants.

1:45 p.m. – A county employee found a wallet at Waterloo Park. The employee turned it in to City Hall but they were unable to reach the owner of the wallet.

5:16 p.m. – Packages were stolen from the porch of a residence in the 0-99 block of Oakway Place. A witness saw a tan Ford Explorer with a male driver, who was 5-foot-10, with short dark hair and a receding hairline. A report for second-degree theft was taken.

March 28

6:43 a.m. – Bruce Lee Pavlisick, 34, was arrested on charges of harassment, menacing, interfering with making a police report and attempted arson.

4:18 p.m. – A man discovered damage to his vehicle after it was parked overnight in the 0-99 block of E. Carolina Street. A report for hit and run was taken.

5:20 p.m. – Packages were stolen from a front porch in the 1100 block of Mazama Avenue on March 24. Loss value $121.

6:39 p.m. – Travis Lee McVicker, 29, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. He had an additional warrant for contempt of court and probation violation.

March 27

5:15 a.m. – Schrene Marie Worley, 47, was arrested on a Dallas Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear, original charge of second-degree theft.

2:03 p.m. – A key on a red keychain was found near S. Second and W. D Streets.

2:45 p.m. – James Rodger Starline, 35, was arrested on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation. He also had a Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for contempt of court; an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court; a Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, South Dakota, warrant for distribution/manufacture of a controlled substance, hashish, possession of marijuana with intent; and a Lawrence County, South Dakota warrant for aggravated assault.

March 26

1:30 a.m. – A resident in the 300 block of W. Maple Street said the tires of the two vehicles in her driveway were slashed overnight. Estimated damage: $300.

8:05 p.m. – A resident in the 2200 block of Eagles Drive found a purple girls bike in his front yard. The bike says “Too Cool.” A report was taken.

March 25

1:51 a.m. – Julia Frances Adderly, 39, was arrested for DUII. BAC: 0.14. A caller said a woman in the driver seat of a light-colored Jeep Cherokee appeared to be passed out. She attempted to purchase beer at 7-Eleven and appeared very impaired.

8:12 a.m. – Two male suspects stole a black rubber 35-gallon trash can and dumped garbage out everywhere, in the 1700 block of S. Main Street. A report for third-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief was taken.

11:33 a.m. – Packages were stolen off the front porch of a residence in the 3200 block of Lupine Street. Approximately $160 worth of movies, toys and birthday decorations ordered for a child were stolen. UPS delivered the packages at 11:30 a.m. on March 24 and the resident was home for lunch at 1 p.m. that day and the packages were gone.

5:05 p.m. – A caller said her computer was hacked and her bank account was accessed. She downloaded “Yahoo Security Total 360” software in December 2016 and was charged $200 for the product. She contacted the supposed representative of the company and was told the charge did not go through and they needed to access her bank accounts. When the caller checked her accounts a $6,000 unauthorized transfer had been made. She shut her computer down and contacted Chase bank. The charge was reversed and her accounts were canceled. She was counseled to clean her computer before using it and report the fraud to the FBI. A report was taken for identity theft.

5:54 p.m. – A 30-year-old woman was cited for second-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass. A 16-year-old girl was referred for second-degree theft and was released to a parent. A Walmart employee said a group of four people, two males and two females, were concealing items. One female had a backpack full of merchandise and was in the driver seat of a Volkswagen Passat. The four people were detained but the two males were eventually released. Both males were issued trespass notices from Walmart.

March 24

1:28 p.m. – Alicia May Grazer, 38, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree criminal trespass. She also had a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear, original charge third-degree theft, and a Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure appear, original charge criminal citation. A Safeway employee said a woman stole something and assaulted another employee. The woman then threw her purse contents into the canal. She took shampoo and other hair products. The woman pushed and hit the caller’s boss who tried to block her from leaving.

3:15 p.m. – A caller reported that a child was bitten by a tan and white sharpei mix dog in the 200 block of Market Street. An officer contacted the child in the emergency room. She said she was about to step on the porch when the dog pushed past the owner, smelled her and bit her stomach. An officer photographed the punctures. The mother did not want the owner cited. An officer contacted the dog owner, who gave the same story. The dog’s license and shots were up to date. She was willing to quarantine the dog at the residence. Her sister, who lives in the country, will take the dog after 10 days.

3:51 p.m. – Caller said her medication, 30 5 mg. pills  of Oxycodone, was taken on Jan. 28 from a location in the 1500 block of S. Fourth Street.

6:26 p.m. – A package was taken from a front porch in the 3200 block of Columbine Street. Four pairs of Duluth pants are missing. A report was taken.

March 22

9:32 a.m. – A 15-year-old female student brought marijuana brownies to Lebanon High School and distributed them to other students. She was referred for minor in possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school. All involved students were contacted. The school is handling discipline in addition to the charges filed.

9:34 a.m. – Shawn Arden Hassenger, 35, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation.

1:44 p.m. – Tools were stolen from a garage in the 1400 S. Fourth Street. A report for second-degree theft was taken.

6:39 p.m. – Gary Dale Thurston, 21, was arrested by Linn County Sheriff’s Office on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation.

March 21

7:29 a.m. – LPD gave DUI presentations to several classes at Lebanon High School.

10:21 a.m. – A Lebanon High School student purchased a cellphone from someone in Sweet Home and later found out the phone’s IMEI number was listed as lost or stolen. The student contacted the Sweet Home Police Department, but was not able to get the phone to them. The student took the phone to the LHS school resource officer, who contacted SHPD.

11:38 a.m. – Jessica Ashley Wynne, 23, turned herself in on multiple warrants. She had a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court, probation violation, original charge second-degree theft, and second-degree criminal trespass and a state-wide felony warrant out of Polk County Circuit Court for failure to appear, original charge unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

March 20

12:11 a.m. – Jenny Mae Cox, 35, was arrested on a Lincoln County Circuit Court felony warrant for failure to appear, original charge possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. She had an additional warrant for failure to appear.

7:53 a.m. – Caller reported items stolen from home construction site in the 100 block of E Street. Caller said it also looked like someone drove through the property. A report was taken.

10:51 a.m. – A wounded duck that was in the parking lot at Safeway was able to fly on its own and flew out of the area. No report was taken.

7:17 p.m. – A 65-year-old man with a beer in his hand was stumbling into the road, near s. Fourth and E Streets. Officers gave him a courtesy ride home.

7:48 p.m. – Lucas Neil Riley, 38, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court felony warrant for failure to appear, original charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. He also had an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for for parole violation. He was charged with possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, heroin, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, elude on foot, and reckless driving. A stolen red Kia Rio was seen leaving Sum Yan Chinese restaurant. The driver went southbound on S. Fourth Street and pulled over at B and Fourth Streets. The driver was swimming in canal, where a jacket was recovered. An officer contacted the driver on School Lane and had him at tazer point. There was a tote in the passenger seat that said Luke’s clothing on the side. The vehicle matched to an Albany Police Department stolen vehicle case. The vehicle was released to its owner. A Toshiba laptop was also found in the vehicle.

9:03 p.m. – Michael Erik Ewing, 49, was arrested for attempt to elude, felony, possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, reckless driving and DUII.

March 19

3:53 a.m. – A caller said he fell asleep and hit a pickup that was parked near Riverview School. He is not injured but drove his vehicle home and is not able to drive back. He also said he did not have a phone and knocked on the door of the house where the truck was parked but no one answered. Officers transported him back to the location of the accident. A report was taken.

11:45 a.m. – A single vehicle hit a pole in the 900 block of S. Main Street. Two people were trapped inside. The vehicle was upside down. A citizen crawled into vehicle to assist the child. Linn County Sheriff Office deputy told the citizen to leave the child in the car and not move him. An adult male who was not conscious but breathing was still inside the the vehicle. A lane north of Oak Street was blocked. The male was extracted from the vehicle. The female was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. A 17-year-old female passenger was listed as a runaway from Corvallis Police Department.

12:32 p.m. – Two pitbulls were loose at the caller’s driveway, in the 900 block of Walker Road. The dogs have been aggressive in the past. The caller was advised of a delay in response time because of the previous log entry. A second caller said the dogs busted through several fences and that they were pinning people and acting very aggressively. The caller said he was outside with a pistol and would shoot the dogs if the officer didn’t get there soon. LPD requested LCSO respond but they did not have a deputy available. At 2:08 p.m., officers contacted the dog owner, who was cited for dog at large and allowing dog to be a nuisance. A report was taken.

12:56 p.m. – The owner of a property in the 100 block of Jennings Street said the tenants who moved out left paraphernalia. Syringes and narcotics were seized. The needles were disposed of at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. A report was taken.

9:26 p.m. – Holley Ann Smith, 35, was arrested on a Linn County Justice Court warrant fro probation violation and contempt. Contact was made during a traffic stop.

11:07 p.m. – A man walked into Walmart with a crossbow strapped to his back. He also had a BB gun, machete, and knife in sheath. The 29-year-old man was very willing to speak an officer and store staff. Staff asked him to leave his weapons up front and he did. He said he was going “bullfrogging” and needed to buy arrows, but Walmart didn’t have any. He said he was headed home and left the store. No report was taken.

March 18

10:47 a.m. – Suzanne Marie Smith, 36, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, and a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for third-degree theft. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and shoplifting.

11:37 a.m. – Oregon State Police arrested Richard Dean Hinthorn, 62, on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation.

1:55 p.m. – Cesar Ibarra was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation.

6:08 p.m. – Daniel Lee King, 28, was arrested for DUII and reckless endangerment. There was an additional charge for resisting arrest.

March 17

11:11 a.m. – Sometime overnight the lock was cut on a utility trailer at Gill’s Landing. The 5-by-8 foot utility trailer was taken. The trail is black with a ramp gate on the back, sides, open top, wood floor, diamond plate fenders. It has white wheels and is worth $600. A report for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief was taken.

11:33 a.m. – A caller reported an injured turkey in the 100 block of Main Street. It seemed to have an injured wing and leg and was not able to fly when officers made contact. The turkey was taken to Morse Bros. and dispatched, then taken to public works for disposal.

4:14 p.m. – A pre-paid purple Samsung phone was found at McDonald’s. A report was taken.

4:28 p.m. – Two juveniles are suspected of stealing Mike’s Hard Lemonade from Walmart. Loss value: $17.16. A report was taken for minor in possession of alcohol and third-degree theft.

5:02 p.m. – A caller reported fraudulent use of a debit card at Walmart. Wells Fargo reimbursed the caller for the charge and the card account was canceled. A report was taken for identity theft.

9:11 p.m. – A caller heard what sounded like three gunshots coming from the area of Cascades School. Three other callers reported shots. An officer contacted two males in the area on foot who stated they witnessed two or three fireworks going off in the area.

March 15

12:05 a.m. – Jacob Noel Yonker 32, was arrested on a felony warrant through Linn County Circuit Court for failure to appear, original charge possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. He had additional Linn County warrants for failure to appear. A caller said it appeared someone was doing drugs in a green Volkswagen Jetta that was parked by a Dumpster near Game Time. An officer made contact with two people who were in the vehicle.

10:07 a.m. – Leslie Lee Gibson, 50, was arrested for theft and Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for contempt and probation violation, original charge second-degree criminal trespass.

4:15 p.m. – A caller said there were three juveniles on the train tracks near the 1300 block of Grant Street. When the officer arrived, the juveniles were no longer on the tracks. They said they were previously on the tracks because a homeless man was threatening them while they were on the other side of the river. They said they used the tracks to get away from him. They were warned for trespass. The officer tried to contact their parents but was unable to make contact. The officer gave them a business card and will wait for their parents to call. The officer contacted the man who is homeless. He said the kids were messing with his stuff and he did yell at them. The officer spoke with another man who said he yelled at the kids and when he went to speak with them, he noticed they were very young and it concerned him that they were walking on the trestle. All parties were counseled.

March 13

12:25 a.m. – Pablo Anselmo Estrada, 43, was arrested for DUII. BAC .19. A caller reported to Linn County Sheriff’s Office a suspicious vehicle driving in the 300 block of W. Sherman Street. The caller followed the vehicle to Research Mannikins and confronted him. The caller said there was a hispanic male in the vehicle who was acting sketchy. The driver was taken into custody and the vehicle was secured and legally parked.

6:20 a.m. – A McDonald’s employee received a counterfeit $100 bill the previous night. A report was taken.

9:19 a.m. – An officer gave a presentation at Little Ewe Preschool.

11:03 a.m. – An Oregon State Credit Union employee reported a counterfeit $100 bill was received. A report was taken.

2:04 p.m. – A caller reported a NVIDIA Sheild K-1 8 inch tablet was stolen from his residence, in the 2000 block of S. Second Street. It is black and has a Shield stamped on the back. It was entered into LEDS as stolen.

3:54 p.m. – Two Lebanon High School students were charged with disorderly conduct. An LHS staff member reported a fight involved a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl in the ladies locker room. The fight started as a verbal. The campus monitor got in between the two and both started physically fighting. There were no injuries. They were separated and interviewed. A report was taken.

5:21 p.m. – A caller reported that either Saturday or Sunday night someone broke into his vehicle, in the 300 block of Sand Ridge Court. A Kicker PT250 subwoofer was stolen out of the trunk, along with a Pioneer stereo with USB, which was stolen out of the dashboard. Total loss $200. The subwoofer was entered into LEDS.

March 12

11:28 a.m. – A Knot Hole customer turned in prescription pills that were found in the store to an employee. The item was seized and a report taken.

11:29 a.m. – A resident in the 300 block of Shannon Place returned home the previous night and noticed the back garage door was unlocked. The next day, they noticed, their son’s bike was missing. It is a framed Attack HD black with red rims 20 inch BMX. A report was taken.

March 11

1:25 a.m. – David James Neal, 24, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation. Neal also had a Linn County warrant for probation violation on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to to comply, resisting arrest.

9:24 a.m. – Israel William Thompson, III, 21, was arrested for fourth-degree assault. A female was in the emergency room with injuries. An officer made contact. Thompson was transported to Linn County Jail. The woman was cited for a restraining order violation.

12:42 p.m. – Michael Blohm, 37, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation. He also had a state-wide felony warrant from Linn County Sheriff’s Office, original charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

3:16 p.m. – Wendy Marcum, 50, was arrested on a felony warrant from Linn County Circuit Court for failure to appear, original charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. She also had a warrant out of Lebanon for contempt of court and probation violation.

6:01 p.m. – A Walmart employee reported a man went out the doors with a dark-framed bike with red or orange-rimmed tires. He was wearing a tan over sized jacket and a dark hoodie. He appeared to be an older man with a beard. A report for second-degree theft was taken.

6:47 p.m. – Ronald Mowdy, 23, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear, original charge of fourth-degree assault.

9:30 p.m. – Bobbie Mar Lorrain Horner, 39 was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court, original charge second-degree theft. A Walmart employee reported a woman in her late 30s at self checkout had panties in her purse not paid for and left the store headed toward GameStop.

March 10

8:04 a.m. – George Josef Drexler, 42, was arrested on a state-wide felony warrant out of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office for a  parole violation, on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Drexler had Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for contempt of court and probation violation and a cite warrant for failure to appear on a criminal cite. Marvin Stanley Miller, 57, was arrested on a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for third-degree theft. Miller also had a Lebanon Municipal Court arrest warrant for less than an ounce of marijuana. Tyler Hoskinson was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and a probation violation. He also had a cite warrant for failing to appear on a criminal cite.

9:41 a.m. – Michael Richard Baxter, 36, was charged with third-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment.

12:13 p.m. – Chaz Thomas Cantrall, 26, was arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt and parole violation. Cantrall also had an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply, harassment, and a Linn County Supervisory warrant for contempt of court. He was transported to the Lebanon Justice Center.

4:22 p.m. – A caller said his bike was stolen form Seven Oak Middle School today. The bike was located across the street. It had been spray painted.

6:27 p.m. – Lisa Magers was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for fail to appear, contempt of court and a probation violation. She was also arrested for possession of meth and carry concealed weapon. John Scott was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for possession of meth, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of heroin. He was also arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear, original charge third-degree escape.

11:56 p.m. – Heather Lynn Stahlnecker, 35, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt and probation violation. She also had a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on a possession of a controlled substance, heroin.  She had an additional Linn County warrant on possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine.

March 9

5:26 a.m. – Nicklaus James Glasser, 27, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and parole violation, on an original charge of giving false information to a police officer. Glasser had another warrant from the Oregon State Parole Board. The Linn County Sheriffi’s Office requested LPD drive by a residence in the 1100 block of S. Ninth Street because they received a call that someone was banging on the door. LPD officers contacted a man on the front porch. A report was taken.

9:36 a.m. – A woman found a wallet outside the SamFit, Urgent Care area. It was entered into property records.

10 a.m. – A man said his signature was forged on a check for $5,057.16. The incident is under investigation.

4:52 p.m. – Daryn David Hill, 23, was arrested on a Linn County warrant for failure to comply, on an original charge of second-degree trespass. Hill had another Linn County warrant for parole violation, on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.

5:51 p.m. – A caller said she was bitten by a dog in the 2200 block of S. Main Road. The dog owner took the dog home while the caller was in the bathroom looking at the bite, which was on her upper leg. The dog was tied to a railing. Officers could not locate the owner by address, as his Oregon Drivers License showed an old address and the phone numbers on file for him were no longer valid. A report was taken.

6:53 p.m. – Heather Lee Elmer, 23, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation. Elmer also had an Albany Municipal Court arrest warrant for contempt of court and four Linn County warrants.

March 8
6:09 a.m. – Someone broke the back side window of a van while it was in the 100 block of W. Ash Street some time between 8 p.m. on March 7 and the time of the call. Taken was $1,400 worth of power tools. Loss value for the window: $200. A report was taken for first-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, and second-degree criminal mischief.

7:44 a.m. – A nurse at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital was kicked in the stomach while trying to provide care for a combative patient. The female patient was in restraints on a mental health hold. A report was taken.

12:06 p.m. – A gray 2014 Mazda3 was stolen from the 1400 block of Filbert Street some time between 7:30 p.m.on Feb. 28 and 11:30 a.m.  on March 8. The vehicle has dark tinted windows and black rims.The caller has the master keys but a spare key was in her purse, which was stolen in November or December while she was at Cheadle Lake. The Mazda had a full tank of gas. A dog leash, dog toys, CDs, and emergency road kit were in the trunk. The vehicle was listed into LEDS/CIC as stolen.

4:04 p.m. – A caller believes he is a victim of online credit card fraud. He had unauthorized charges on his credit card stemming from China. Loss value: $300. A report was taken.

6:18 p.m. – A purple bicycle was left in the 1300 block of E. Grant Street. A report was taken for found property.

9:30 p.m. – Aaron Timothy Campbell, 37, was arrested on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for parole violation, on an original charge of third-degree theft. He also had a Linn County Sheriff’s Office felony warrant.

9:46 p.m. – Julia Rose Trietsch, 29, was arrested on a felony Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation.

11:12 p.m. – Victoria Leah Ann Karen Challe, 32, was arrested on a felony Benton County Court warrant for probation violation. Challe also had two Albany Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear. She also had a Corvallis Municipal Court arrest warrant for failure to appear. Challe was charged with resisting arrest, giving false information to police and third-degree theft. She was trespassed from Safeway. A caller said two women in Safeway had concealed cosmetics. One woman went into the bathroom and the other went toward the floral department. The other woman was verbally trespassed from Safeway.
