12:29 p.m. – Caller reported a water pipe worth $100 to $200 was taken, Weldwood Drive. Under investigation.
1:59 p.m. – Caller reported her elderly mother fell for a scam and had lost at least $2,000. The scam involved gift cards and money order purchases and transfers. Officer advised them to cancel all accounts and lock the elderly female’s credit report.
6:25 p.m. – Caller reported a trolling boat motor stolen from a boat, Sherman Street. Report taken.

6:49 p.m. – Caller reported showing up at his rental house and finding a bike outside and the garage partially open, Franklin Street. The caller found that an air compressor worth $100 and a nail gun worth $50 were taken from the living room, and the caller found blankets in one of the bedrooms in the closet, food in the fridge and evidence someone had showered. 11:16 a.m. – Caller reported that the soap fill from a dispenser was stolen from a portable toilet, Grant Street.

12:19 p.m. – Caller reported that the gas line in her son’s truck had been cut sometime in the past two months, Market Street. She said multiple vehicles had been entered and damaged.
12:44 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle had been hit and damaged in the parking lot at Bi-Mart on May 29, Santiam Highway.
1:10 p.m. – Caller reported fraudulent charges on the caller’s bank account, E Street. Bank to investigate.
1:52 p.m. – Caller reported writing a check for $1,500 but had no contact with the recipient since then, 31600 block of Headgate Road. The check was cashed, but the caller discovered the male’s business address was not a real address. Report taken.
4:06 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a letter welcoming the caller to Bank of America and a second saying his account was being closed, 30400 block of Townsend Road. The caller does not bank with Bank of America. The account was opened with his name, date of birth, Social Security number and address. Account is now closed. Caller advised to purchase identity theft protection. Report taken.
7:33 p.m. – Schrene Marie Worley, 51, cited and released for second-degree theft, 3290 Santiam Hwy., Walmart.

4:27 p.m. – Caller reported his debit card was used fraudulently at various locations within Lebanon, 38200 block of Mountain Home Drive.
4:34 p.m. – Caller reported a fraudulent check deposited into her bank account, Cedar Street. Issue resolved at bank.
11:26 p.m. – Caller reported a white Nissan 350Z driving recklessly and drifting, Boulder Falls. Officer viewed video of the car spinning circles at the intersection of N. 5th and Boulder Falls. The vehicle was known from prior calls.

3:10 p.m. – Caller reported a food stamp card stolen, 400 block of Center Street.
3:35 p.m. – Caller reported her stolen EBT card had been used at Walmart, 3290 Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $308.32. Caller had previously reported the card stolen to Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

2:59 a.m. – Johne Michael Griffith, 24, cited on Linn County warrants for two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass and probation violation on original charge of second-degree sexual abuse; and Matthew A. Taylor, 28, cited on Lebanon warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on a criminal citation and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, Santiam Highway.
12:57 p.m. – Caller reported a female lying in the roadway and both lanes were stopped, 2nd Street. Female taken into custody on police officer hold. A doctor said it was a medical issue, but the female refused treatment. Female given courtesy transport to her residence.
May 19
10:27 p.m. – Jasmine Cama Hutchins, 44, cited on Linn County warrant for criminal trespass, Knot Hole. Caller had reported a dispute in a store where the customer swiped an EBT card for $13 worth of merchandise. The cashier informed the customer it did not go through, but the customer believed it had gone through, argued about it and then left with the merchandise. A later look at the record showed the transaction partially went through, all but $3.58 for two packs of donuts. The customer paid for the donuts and was trespassed from the store.
May 18
3:38 a.m. – Leonid Samoylich, 41, cited on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree robbery and menacing and cited for no license, E Street.
8:37 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to order a phone from Spring with the caller’s information but did not use the caller’s credit card information, Koi Lane. The phone was to be shipped to a vacant house in Salem. Caller advised to contact the credit bureaus and Social Security to notify them of possible identity theft.
9:59 a.m. – Caller reported tires slashed on two vehicles, Grace Street.
2:05 p.m. – Caller reported finding a round cardboard tube with one metal end with foil over it in the front yard, Russell Street. Oregon State Police bomb squad responded. The device was found to be a confetti popper. OSP took the device for disposal.
3:21 p.m. – Caller reported that an unknown person obtained the caller’s credit card number and changed the mailing address and online password to a new address in New Mexico, 30800 block of Aspen. Suspect only obtained the caller’s credit card points. The points were returned to the caller. Deputy urged the caller to purchase some form of identity theft proteciton.
9:42 p.m. – Report taken for harassment, 200 block of Gilbert Street. Caller reported a physical altercation between two females. Minor injuries reported. Investigation ongoing.
May 16
7:04 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen from his house, 38300 block of Maple Street. Investigation continuing. Loss valued at $1,364.
7:22 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a gold and brown Huffy seven-speed bicycle, Market Street. The bike was worth about $50. The caller was not too concerned about the bike but asked the officer to watch for it.
May 15
9:53 a.m. – Caller reported someone drilled into two machines in a laundry room but was not sure if someone got any money, 2nd Street. Caller estimated $150 in damage to the locks. Report taken.
4:10 p.m. – Caller reported his debit cards had been used, with around $500 taken, Filbert Street.
11:03 p.m. – Taylor Robert Mespelt, 19, cited on Linn County warrants for attempted first-degree robbery, first-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin; and Brianna Michelle Baldie, 30, cited for possession of methamphetamine, Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Marion county warrants for first-degree theft and failure to appear on original charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree theft, Park Street.

9:54 a.m. – Caller reported that a female got into his online banking and took money via debit and credit cards, F Street.
11:51 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a trash cart, 34100 block of East Lacomb Road.
May 13
2:24 a.m. – Mark Warren Doty, 51, cited on Lebanon warrant for probation violation, 10th Street.
1:55 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a large green trash can the previous day, Franklin Street. Information documented.
3:32 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 29300 block of Fairview Road. Loss valued at $200.
May 12
3:57 p.m. – Report taken for theft, Harrison Street.
4:14 p.m. – Caller received a check and was instructed to deposit then send extra money back, Grant Street. Officer contacted the caller, who had applied for an elder care job and was contacted by a subject who told she had the job but did not give her a location for the job. The check was sent with instructions to deposit it then withdraw funds and pay for expenses related to the new job. The caller realized it was a scam and did not deposit the check. The check was listed as being from Arjo, Inc., in Pittsburgh, Pa. Caller shredded the check and will call the attorney general fraud line.
9:16 p.m. – Jody Dee McCullar, 52, cited on California warrant for failure to update annual registration, Grant Street.
May 11
10:57 p.m. – Caller reported a gate by Beaton Lane had been cut. City to replace the chain and possibly the locks. Information documented.
8:53 p.m. – Alisyn Joleyn Lee Murphy, 37, turned herself in on Lebanon warrant for probation violation, Lebanon warrant for failure to appear, Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of a restricted weapon and Linn County warrants for failure to appear on a citation and possession of methamphetamine, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department.
