7:08 a.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Caller recovered $34.20 in property. Report taken.
7:38 a.m. – Misty Brook Brown, 31, arrested for possession of meth and on Linn County and Albany warrants for failure to appear, 2600 block of S. Santiam Highway.
8:14 a.m. – Stolen vehicle recovered, 30400 block of Townsend Road.
8:51 a.m. – Caller reported damage to a clothing drop-off box, 3000 S. Santiam Hwy., River Center. Damage estimated at $50. Several welds had been cracked as the donation chute was forced back into a shed. It appeared that maybe transients used the shed for shelter. Report taken.
8:30 a.m. – Caller reported fuel lines were cut in five vehicles and tools left behind, 100 block of W. Sherman Street. Report taken.
8:40 a.m. – Caller reported meeting a female online, 900 block of F Street. He gave her his address, and she shipped him several packages containing gift cards and other products. She asked him to take photos of them and ship them to another address. Officer counseled the caller about returning the items to the sender and blocking any future contact with the female from the dating site. Caller was not out any money.
3:11 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of two action figures worth $25 each, 445 Weldwood Drive, GameStop. Suspect information and video were available. Caller said he would not pursue charges if the items were returned undamaged. Report taken.
4:19 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 39800 block of Lacomb Drive. Report taken.
4:29 p.m. – Caller reported a sex offense, 600 block of Oak Street. Report taken.
8:13 p.m. – Caller reported he was contacted by subjects who wanted to exchange money for a car, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department. The subjects said they would meet him in Lebanon. Officer counseled him about the common scam, where he was to deposit money and receive a car and millions of dollars in return.
8:28 p.m. – Caller reported what appeared to be an arm in the canal, E. Oak and Park. Officer located a plastic doll arm.
July 10

2:29 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a boat motor, 1900 block of Airway Road. Report taken.
8:46 a.m. – Caller reported being assaulted, 000 block of Mary Street. Report taken.
11:52 a.m. – Caller reported that he received a call from the “federal government” stating he was eligible for a grant. The caller said he bought a $250 Google Play gift card and transferred it to the female operator, who had an Indian accent. The caller reported the incident to his credit card company. Officer counseled him about this incident and related scams. Information documented.
12:20 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle seat, 3000 block of S. Santiam Highway. Information documented.
1:47 p.m. – Caller reported that he dropped his wallet at Safeway, 1983 S. Main St., and someone took it then used one of his cards for $26 at Albany Wal-Mart. A later attempt to use it at Albany Wal-Mart was denied. Report taken.
3:30 p.m. – Caller reported that $530 was taken from her bank account, 96 E. Sherman St., Key Bank. Bank will reimburse the account. Caller reported that someone with an accent had contacted her and sent her an image of her account with a zero balance. The caller said she gave the subject no additional information because she knew it was a scam, but the caller was then able to obtain her checking account information and withdraw $530. 4:07 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a check in the mail that appeared to be part of some kind of fraud, 800 block of Crowfoot Road. Caller was not out any money.
5:30 p.m. – Caller reported someone drove off without paying $5.89 for fuel, 2186 S. Santiam Hwy., Mobil.
7:39 p.m. – Caller reported a female assaulting another female, 500 block of Oregon Street. Report taken.
8:25 p.m. – John Griffith, 22, arrested for resisting arrest and two counts of disorderly conduct, 400 block of W. Grant St. Caller had reported two males fighting. Officer responded. The two males separated. Officer detained one male, but he slipped his cuffs. Report taken for two counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
July 9

7:15 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle and took items that were to be donated to Goodwill, 200 block of E. Isabella Street.
7:31 a.m. – Caller reported a couple of BB gun holes in a window in her house, 800 block of W. Grant Street.
8:13 a.m. – Caller reported damage to a recently painted railing on the southeast side of the playground area, 2163 S. 7th St., Cascades Elementary School. Report taken.
11:25 a.m. – Caller reported receiving a fraudulent $100 bill, 2412 S. Santiam Hwy., Knothole Market and Gas. Officer contacted the female who passed the bill. She said she had no idea that bill was fraudulent and that she got it from a friend who owed her money. She declined to give the friend’s name. Report taken. The business turned over several other fraudulent bills that it had collected but not previously reported.
11:58 a.m. – Caller reported a restraining order violation, 500 block of Park Street. Report taken.
12:40 p.m. – Caller reported fraud by a telemarketing company, 000 block of W. Cedar Drive. Caller said he was contacted by a solicitor about television service. The solicitor refused to show ID when asked. The caller’s wife gave the company a check for $99, but he canceled the check after becoming a suspicious it was a scam.
3:19 p.m. – Roxanna Kim Douglas, 61, cited for indecent exposure, second-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department. Caller had reported a female going inside the Justice Center and urinating in the lobby.
4:42 p.m. – Caller reported that two fake $100 bills were brought in by a representative from Jack in the Box, 777 Park St., Umpqua Bank. The bills were fairly realistic but were clearly marked “Motion Picture Money/Not Legal Tender.” Caller reported it for information purposes.
5:38 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of three beers, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Suspect conscious and semi-alert when located. Transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Suspect was trespassed, but caller did not want to press charges.
7:28 p.m. – Dan Diabel arrested for harassment, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-mart.
July 8
Six persons arrested on contempt of court warrants.
Police issued two citations for speed racing, one for driving while suspended and one for no insurance.
7:33 a.m. – Roxanna Douglas, 61, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving, 42 Market St. Officer had located a vehicle parked in a yellow zone on the wrong side of the road.
4:57 p.m. – Derral Schilling and Donna Lyons arrested for second-degree trespassing, 39100 block of Griggs Drive. Caller reported subjects had driven down a long private driveway posted with no trespassing signs. The homeowner caught the subjects and blocked them on the property until deputies arrived.
5:55 p.m. – Anthony Volkers, 21, cited in the field for reckless driving, S. Santiam Highway and Weldwood. A caller had reported a driver passing the caller at an estimated 90 mph and passing in the turn lane and shoulder.
July 7

Police issued one citation for failure to yield, two for speeding, one for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and one for failure to renew registration.
9:30 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 31200 block of 1st Street, Waterloo.

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended, four for using a cell phone while driving, one for operation without required lighting and one for failure to use seatbelt.
5:41 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a kicker motor from a boat, 800 block of Academy Street. Report taken.
3:02 p.m. – Kerry Marie Skelton, 47, arrested for felony fourth-degree assault, 800 block of Academy Street.
10:32 p.m. – Kyle Keith Martin, 27, arrested for felony eluding police, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, misdemeanor driving while suspended and possession of a theft device, Denny School Road and Highway 34. Vehicle hit spike strip at Tennessee Road. Vehicle stopped at Engel Road. Police recovered a vehicle reported stolen out of Marion County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:31 a.m. – Caller reported that someone spray painted two vehicles during the night, a fence and inside and outside two storage sheds, 3600 block of S. Santiam Highway. Damage estimated at more than $1,000. A grabber tool was stolen from a shed. Report taken.
9:16 a.m. – Caller reported graffiti, 700 S. 10th Street, Green Acres School. Report taken. Damage estimated at $100.
12:23 p.m. – Caller reported the caller’s pickup had been damaged, 300 block of Russell Street. The windshield and another window had been broken out. Loss valued at $360. Report taken.

8:24 a.m. – Caller reported someone keyed his vehicle sometime in the previous three days, 400 block of S. Main Street. Report taken. Damage estimated at $2,000.
9:55 a.m. – Caller reported a mailbox damaged by fireworks, 37300 block of Tennessee School Road. Report taken.
11:27 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 31800 block of Eastway Street. Report taken.
4 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen at 8:09 a.m., 500 block of N. Santiam Highway. Report taken for the theft of a Ford F350. Police recovered a Ford F250 reported stolen out of Marion County. The Ford F350 was recovered at 4:33 p.m.
6:54 p.m. – Caller reported that aerial fireworks melted her gutter and ignited the roof, 300 block of 6th. Caller put out the fire. The fireworks came from Rose Street somewhere. Information documented.

5:10 p.m. – Caller reported a scam through her university where a person requested payment through iTunes gift cards, 38100 block of Vine Street. Caller did not give the scammer any gift cards and was not out any money.
5:32 p.m. – Caller reported drill bits stuck in the key area to access the coin bin in the laundry area, 100 block of S. 8th Street. One washer and three dryer locks were damaged. Damage valued at $220. Report taken.

12:17 p.m. – Caller reported being assaulted, fracturing his jaw in two places and requiring surgery to repair it, S. 10th and W. Sherman. Report taken.
12:50 p.m. – Caller reported that someone shot her vehicle several times during the night, 300 block of W. Sherman. Report taken.

5:59 p.m. – Caller reported that she downloaded an antivirus program and then subjects attempted to get her to purchase iTunes gift cards for payment, 2500 block of S. 7th Street. The caller recognized this to be a scam, but she was scared when the subjects displayed a picture of her bank account with a zero balance. Caller was advised that this was not factual and that she was not out any money. Reported to bank, and accounts frozen.

4:20 p.m. – Caller reported that he was deputized by a police officer, and he was adamant that this was his first day as a deputy and wanted to know what his duties are, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department. Officer counseled the male.
6:03 p.m. – Caller reported that a patient had $1,200 to $1,400 missing, 525 N. Santiam Hwy., Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

2:43 a.m. – Caller reported that a male broke a window out of the caller’s mother’s vehicle, 1200 block of Franklin Street. Report taken. The caller said the male had threatened to break things if the caller did not go home with him.
7:47 a.m. – Caller reported two cedar fence boards broken during the weekend, 2400 block of 2nd Street.
7:52 a.m. – Caller reported at least four BBs or pellets striking the right side of a car, breaking two windows and side mirror and chipped paint, 800 block of W. Ash Street. Report taken.
9:16 a.m. – A 15-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for possession of marijuana and runaway. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention.
10:12 a.m. – Anna House, 34, arrested for third-degree theft, and a 13-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported a female, who had two juveniles with her, taking a bucket of chicken.
12:16 p.m. – Caller reported that an adult male pretending to be a police officer from Linn County called the complainant’s daughter and advised there were three warrants for her arrest because she did not appear for jury duty in Linn County, 37900 block of Ridgetop Drive. The complainant spoke to the suspect by phone, and he talked her into paying two fines of $499.99 each with a Reloadit card. Report taken.
1 p.m. – Caller reported a sexual abuse four years ago at an unknown location in Lebanon. Report taken.
3:12 pm. – Caller reported finding a priority mail envelope opened in his yard and a marriage license and two children’s birth certificates taken, 610 S. 7th Street. Report taken.
3:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a gun owner improperly unloaded his gun without checking the chamber and when he pulled the trigger, the gun fired a bullet into his right shoe, 1200 block of Cascade Drive. His steel-toed shoe stopped the bullet from penetrating, and he had no injury. Report taken for accidental shooting.
4:01 p.m. – Caller received a package at her residence and then received a phone call regarding the package, telling her to deliver it to an unknown male, 500 block of E. Sherman Street. Caller believed it was a scam and took the package to FedEx to have it returned to sender.
5 p.m. – Jerrime Urban charged with trespassing, 170 E. Grant St.
5:19 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $12 worth of items, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway.
7 p.m. – Stolen black Honda accord recovered, 3300 block of Snow Peak Place. Returned to owner.

12:58 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 37200 block of Rock Hill Drive.
5:04 p.m. – Caller reported harassment, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. One caller reported words were exchanged but nothing happened, while another caller reported that a male yelled at another male in the parking lot. Under investigation.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported a scam, 2000 block of 5th Street. Caller received a check as part of a new online job. She cashed the $2,457 check and then purchased $2,000 in gift cards as part of her job. She then sent pictures of the gift cards to her “boss.” She spent the rest off the money as her salary for the job. The caller was advised that the check was fraudulent, a typical scam; and the suspects are most likely outside the country. Her bank is not reimbursing the funds at this time, but the bank requested she get a case number. Officer counseled the caller about scams.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported vandalism, 32100 block of Berlin Road. Someone cut a plastic irrigation pipe and two garden hoses and damaged a greenhouse. The items were owned by Lebanon School District. Loss was valued at $190. Report taken.
4:22 p.m. – Caller reported that a male took her vape pen and left, 900 block of E Street. Report taken.
4:43 p.m. – Alberto Salas-Hernandez, 39, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, W. Oak and S. 5th. Vehicle impounded.
8:06 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of some items, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway.
June 20
Two persons arrested on warrants.
Police issued one citation for speeding, three for using a cell phone while driving, one for failure to obey a traffic control device, one for failure to renew registration, one for failure to stop for a pedestrian, one for failure to change address on license, one for driving uninsured and one for failure to carry proof of current insurance.
1:30 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of jumper cables, cash and other small items from her vehicle, 800 block of S. Main Street.
6:09 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a vehicle, 300 block of W. Airport Road. Report taken. Vehicle recovered by Sweet Home Police Department. Caller had reported a subject took a 1989 Jeep Wrangler for a test drive and didn’t return. The suspect left behind a Chevrolet later found to be stolen from Primasing Motors, 1211 S. Main St. Officer located license plates stolen from Birch Street in the Chevrolet.
1:19 p.m. – Caller reported a 7-year-old child came home with a scratch on her left leg, 500 block of Evans Drive. Report taken for abuse.
2:50 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a check from a company, spending $2,000 of it and the check bouncing, 300 block of S. Main Street. Officer responded and learned that $4,000 showed up in the caller’s bank account. He was contacted via Facebook by a female who wanted his help moving to Lebanon. The female convinced the caller to buy $2,000 in iTunes cards and send photos of the account numbers to her. The deposit ended up bouncing, and the bank said the caller owed the bank $2,000. The account was closed, and the caller was referred to Lebanon Police Department. The caller had no idea how the female got his banking information to make the deposit. Report taken for identity theft, first-degree forgery and first-degree theft.

8:59 a.m. – Karen McKee, 51, arrested for harassment, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft, 44 Industrial Way. Call had reported a female subject assaulting her.
2:14 p.m. – Kyle Jerome Moore, 24, arrested for driving under the influence, 2562 S. Santiam Hwy., outside Payless Shoe Source.
5:55 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of beer worth $2.89, 590 Tangent St., Jack’s Market.
9:39 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a Mongoose mountain bike from under Grant Street Bridge. Loss valued at $700. Report taken.

6:37 p.m. – Caller reported that a male driving a white Dodge pickup truck dropped off garbage into apartment bins, 100 block of E. Elmore Street. The caller said a maintenance person told the male he can’t do that because he is not a resident, and the male told the maintenance person, “Good luck with that.” Report taken.

5:10 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a red Honda with a faded black rear bumper with a “I (heartshape) herb” sticker on it, 2000 block of S. 12th Street. Vehicle was locked. Items inside the car included an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar, a Peavey amplifier and a skateboard. Report taken.
8:54 a.m. – Caller reported a male told the caller via an app about possible sex crimes he may have committed, 600 block of Tangent Street. Officer responded and determined it was more narcotics-related. Report taken.
9:45 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of change, $10 and a shirt from her vehicle, 300 block of Water’s Edge Court. Report taken.
3:32 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet stolen, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department. Wallet valued at $300 and it contained about $400. Report taken.

12:38 p.m. – Caller reported the glass on a screen door was broken, 300 block of S. 7th Street. Damage valued at $60. Information noted.
1:11 p.m. – Caler reported that someone fraudulently purchased two iPhones on the caller’s account, 3110 block of S. Santiam Highway, Verizon. Report taken.
3:28 p.m. – Tyler James Epps, 19, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, tampering with evidence, attempting to elude on foot and possession of heroin, Lebanon warrants for contempt of court and probation violation and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle and cited for driving uninsured, S. 2nd and J. streets. Vehicle impounded. On a traffic stop, a driver ran from the scene through a church parking lot to the area of Airport and Omire, where Epps was later located.

10:56 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a metal tomato cage, 500 block of W. Sherman Street. Caller wanted it documented and asked for extra patrol as time allows.
12:17 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $13,000 worth of equipment used for boring tunnels for fiber optic cable and an air hose worth $1,500 from the back of a truck, 200 block of W. Airport Road. Report taken.
1:50 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a 5-foot steel sign valued at $500, 1700 block of S. Main Street. Report taken.
10:25 p.m. – Caller reported being hit by a vehicle, 39300 block of River Drive. Caller was under the influence of marijuana and alcohol and thought he had been hit by a vehicle. He admitted he was not hit by a vehicle, his perception of reality was significantly altered and had just fallen into a ditch. No injuries.
