Sept. 11

Police arrested one person on warrants for contempt of court.

2:46 p.m. – Dustin Dwayne Patterson-Olah arrested for harassment, first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department. 

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 30200 block of Horseshoe Loop. Report taken.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 39300 block of Davis Street. 

Sept. 10

11:29 a.m. – Bridgit Ann Torres arrested for second-degree burglary and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. 

5:39 p.m. – Justin King, 39, arrested for possession of meth and cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and switched registration stickers, 35800 block of Tennessee Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:33 p.m. – Jose Luis Pulido arrested for possession of a fictitious ID, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, providing false information to a police officer, failure to carry and present a driver’s license, first-degree forgery and using a counterfeit license and cited for failure to stop and remain stopped for a pedestrian and failure to register vehicle, 1950 S. Main St. 

10:54 p.m. – Delbert Almonzo Kurtz arrested for hit and run, 195 S. 8th St. 

Sept. 9

1 p.m. – Daniel Ray Hansen arrested for second-degree aggravated assault, fourth-degree aggravated assault, second-degree unlawful use of stun gun or mace and unlawful use or carrying of a weapon, 3471 Red Arrow Dr.

Sept. 8

Police arrested two persons on warrants for contempt of court.

Police issued one citation for failure to obey a traffic control device and one for no license.

8:04 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered the trunk of the her vehicle and took a subwoofer and amp, 700 block of W. D Street. Loss valued at $200. Report taken.

3:48 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of tractor tires from a barn, 38000 block of River Drive. Report taken.

9:44 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter put items from the makeup aisle in her purse, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. 

Sept. 7

2:58 p.m. – Caller reported fraud, 34800 block of Ede Road. 

4:19 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 30600 block of Ty Valley Road. A fence was damaged. Report taken.

Sept. 6

Police arrested two persons on warrants for contempt of court.

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended, one for driving uninsured, one for keeping a dog as a public nuisance and one for improper display of license plate.

7:40 a.m. – Caller reported that someone climbed on the roof and spray painted a wall, 700 S. 10th St., Green Acres. Damage estimated at $200. Report taken.

12:05 p.m. – Caller reported a window had been broken in a house,  300 block of B Street. 

2:13 p.m. – Stolen vehicle stolen out of Lebanon recovered on a logging road. Caller had just arrived home in the 100 block of 8th Street and reported the vehicle stolen. Nearly everything in the vehicle had been taken. Loss estimated at $680. Report taken.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported a credit card stolen and it had been used multiple times, 500 block of S. 14th Street. Report taken.

8:47 p.m. – Caller reported his son’s cell phone was taken a week earlier, 1400 block of E. Grant Street. Loss valued at $200. Report taken.

9:12 p.m. – Caller reported a toilet had been filled with dirt and gravel, 2700 River Road, Cheadle Lake. Damage valued at $100. Report taken for criminal mischief.

Sept. 5

9:22 p.m. – Caller reported a recycling bin taken, 38900 block of River Drive. Suspect was hanging out of the passenger window while the vehicle drove away, dragging the bin. Report taken.

Sept. 4

Police arrested three persons on warrants for contempt of court.

2 a.m. – Scott Voetsch, 48, arrested for fourth-degree assault, 800 block of Cascade Drive. 

9:59 a.m. – Caller reported a broken door and coat rack in the male bathroom, 1235 E. Grant St., River Park. Report taken for criminal mischief. 

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered an apartment through a kitchen window and vandalized a bedroom with spray paint during the night, 500 block of W. Oak Street. Damage estimated at $500.

11:12 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a winch from a pickup during the night, 000 block of Isabella Street. Loss valued at $300. Report taken.

12:16 p.m. – A 15-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft, 100 block of W. Sherman Street. Caller had reported watching a juvenile get into his vehicle. 

2:45 p.m. – Andrew Jeremiah Epting, 34, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for second-degree disorderly conduct, 40 N. 2nd St., Lebanon Police Department. 

Sept. 3

Police arrested six persons on warrants for contempt of court.

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended.

10:06 a.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 300 block of S. Williams Street. Report  taken.

10:51 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bike, 1700 block of S. Main Street. 

2:51 p.m. – Elizabeth Santos arrested for harassment, 830 W. Isabella St. Cited and released.

4:42 p.m. – Jenny Biggs, 44, arrested for violation of restraining order, 32700 block of Bellinger Scale Road. 

10:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone burglarized her residence while she was at work, 2400 block of Porter Street. Report taken.

Sept. 2

Police arrested two persons on contempt of court warrants.

12:05 a.m. – Patrick Bryan Wilson, 38, arrested for second-degree assault, 4100 block of Weirich Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail. 

12:13 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Subject fled. Product recovered.

Sept. 1

Police arrested two persons on contempt of court warrants.

6:03 a.m. – Caller reported her purse containing $180 was taken from her vehicle, 600 block of W. Oak Street. Report taken.

9:53 a.m. – Caller found a window broken, 1100 block of W. Airport Road. 

Aug. 31

Police arrested three persons on contempt of court warrants.

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended, one cited for violation of the basic rule, one for following too closely, one for driving uninsured and one for failure to register vehicle.

8:17 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a boat motor, 600 block of S. 7th Street. Loss valued at $2,100. Report taken.

9:54 a.m. – Caller reported a wallet stolen, 2400 block of S. 2nd Street. Report taken.

10:25 a.m. – Thomas F. Birchard, 63, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving, Mullins and N. Santiam Highway. 

1 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke the fuel door from a vehicle, Sherman Street. Damage valued at $200. Report taken.

2:40 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a fake $50 bill, 800 block of Park Street. Report taken. 

5:10 p.m. – Caller reported that someone damaged the driver’s side mirror on his vehicle and approximately three weeks earlier someone ran across the top of the car, leaving dents, 400 block of B Street. Report taken.

6:39 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1100 block of Eddie Street. Loss valued at $30. Report taken.

6:58 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter leaving with items in a purse, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. 

9 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle backed into another vehicle and left, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. Report taken.

Aug. 30

Police issued three citations for speeding and one for using a cell phone while driving.

Police arrested three persons on warrants for contempt of court.

10:54 a.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 2500 block of S. Santiam Highway. Caller said she was in the fast lane when a white Scion pulled out of a parking lot and sideswiped her vehicle. Report taken.

12:12 p.m. – Caller reported a trespassed male was caught trying to steal items, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. Male was last seen headed into a wooded area near the store. Items recovered. Report taken for third-degree robbery.

2:07 p.m. – Caller reported that a customer sold some gold and was paid with a check from a business, 809 S. Main St., Wells Fargo. The check was fraudulent. Report taken.

7:45 p.m. – Jacob Reeder arrested for trespass, 925 Park St., Ralston Park. 

Aug. 29

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended and one for driving uninsured.

8:23 a.m. – Caller reported two batteries stolen from equipment parked near the new Water Treatment Plant, 2700 block of River Road. Report taken.

11:51 a.m. – Caller reported a burglary from a week earlier, 200 block of Pine. Report taken.

11:48 a.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and minor in possession of tobacco, S. 7th and F Street. Vehicle reported stolen out of Auburn, Wash., recovered.

12:11 p.m. – Caller reported he dropped his wallet and someone picked it up and used three different cards, 2400 block of S. Santiam Highway. Report taken.

3:07 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his pickup and took a scanner, CDs and two fishing rods, 600 block of W. Oak Street.

6:33 p.m. – Caller reported her purse and husband’s wallet were taken from a vehicle, 1800 block of Gilbert. Report taken.

7:19 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. Report taken. Caller reported a white GMC with a black grill hit another car.

Aug. 28

Police arrested eight persons on contempt of court warrants.

1:17 a.m.- Todd D. Stricklan, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, 2300 block of S. Santiam Highway. Cited and released.

2:13 a.m. – Jessica Lee Ficek, 35, arrested on Linn County warrants for two counts of unlawful possession of meth and failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and an Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 2600 block of S. Santiam Highway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:08 a.m. – Caller reported a window broken in the gym office during the night, 700 S. 10th St., Green Acres Elementary School. Report taken. Damage estimated at $858.

10:08 a.m. – Christopher Paul Hanson Eilers, 27, arrested on Lebanon warrant for second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief and a Linn County warrant for contempt of court.

11:34 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of $80 in fuel, 100 block of C Street. 

12:59 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole shoes worth $49.99 and pushed the caller, 2562 S. Santiam Hwy., Payless ShoeSource. Report taken.

2:35 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run by a bicyclist, 2200 block of S. Santiam Highway. The bicycle left a small dent, and the female did not appear injured prior to leaving. 

4:50 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run four days previously, 1983  S. Main St., Safeway. Damage estimated at $1,029.

5:04 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run two weeks previously, 809 S. Main St., Wells Fargo. Damage estimated at $1,550.

7:31 p.m. – Jacob Brenner Reeder, 18, arrested for trespass, 925 Park St., Ralston Park.

Aug. 27

7:10 a.m. – Caller reported someone entered the caller’s vehicle, 2400 block of Porter Street. Report taken.

7:46 a.m. – Caller reported a purse and contents taken from a residence, 31200 block of S. Main Road. Loss valued at $140. Report taken.

8:21 a.m. – Caller reported someone stole water and soda from a cooler in the back of the caller’s vehicle, 900 block of W. Maple.

1 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. Report taken. 

2:55 p.m. – Caller reported the  theft of two of his bags, 1700 block of S. Main Street. Report taken.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a wallet from a vehicle, 2300 block of Robbins Way. Report taken.

5:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a house under construction had been spray painted, Robbins Court.

6:56 p.m. – Ariel S. Kaping, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for theft of lost property, Taylor and Willow. Cited and released.

7:44 p.m. – A male juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for fourth-degree assault and third-degree theft, 1301 S. 4th St., Wynn Mill Park.

Aug. 26

Police arrested three persons on warrants for contempt of court.

5:14 a.m. – Officer located something, possibly a trash can, on fire up against a building, 3300 block of Burdell. Officer used two fire extinguishers. Lebanon Fire District responded. Cause unknown. Report taken.

12:43 p.m. – Joseph Kevin Aaron Potter, 28, arrested for interfering and resisting arrest, Rock Hill and Sand Ridge. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a rolling domestic dispute.

Aug. 25

Police arrested five persons on warrants for contempt of court.

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended and one for failure of driver entering roadway to yield right of way.

10:59 a.m. –  Caller reported the theft of $4,000 in tools from a vehicle, 1100 block of Eddie Street. Report taken.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a makeshift office and stole paperwork for a car lot, 2100 block of S. Main Road. Report taken.

3:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone opened a Verizon account using her maiden name, 200 block of S. Williams Street. Report taken.

5:32 p.m. – Dawn Delight Scott, 39, arrested for driving under the influence, S. 10th and W. Grant. 

9:21 p.m. – Casey Alan Cross, 21, arrested for driving under the influence, Hiatt and E. A Street.

Aug. 24

Police issued three citations for speeding.

12:16 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen, 600 block of W. Sherman Street. The vehicle is a red 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol with the plate 545 FAF. Report taken.

12:29 p.m. – Christopher Warren Roberts, 47, cited and released for misdemeanor driving while suspended and cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, Park and Glen Oak. 

9:56 p.m. – Joshua Paul Eli, 30, arrested for a restraining order violation, 300 Sand Ridge Court. Transported to Linn County Jail. 

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported that someone gave the caller a fake $100 bill, 2400 block of S. Santiam Highway. Report taken. 

3:18 p.m. – Kenneth Lee Jones, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for first-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree burglary, 400 block of Center Street. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:33 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 1800 block of 2nd Street. Nothing was missing.

7:21 p.m. – Officer reported an emu running loose, Gore and Highway 20. Emu returned to owner.

7:24 p.m. – Caller reported beer and grocery items taken, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Loss valued at $40.  Report taken. 

9:15 p.m. – Kenneth Allan Rochefort, 58, arrested for driving under the influence, N. Santiam Highway and Reeves Parkway. 

9:14 p.m. – Caller reported a driver leaving without paying for $10.58 in fuel, 805 Park St., Chevron. 

Aug. 23

8:02 a.m. – Caller reported picnic tables had been broken and an ID left behind, 925 Park St., Ralston Park. Report taken for criminal mischief.

8:11 a.m. – Caller reported two males running behind Safeway, 1983 S. Main St. They left a full shopping cart but got away with beer. Items were worth $169.17. Report taken.

1:57 p.m. – Caller reported two large flower pots stolen, 30600 block of Ty Valley Road. Loss valued at $150. Report taken. 

8:27 p.m. – Lennie Nicholas Waltenburg, 57, arrested for violation of a restraining order, 1000 block of W. Oak Street. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Aug. 22

Police arrested one person on a warrant for contempt of court.

11:44 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a Rockstar and a deli sandwich, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway.

3:22 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of all the contents, about $200, of a donation box, 500 block of S. Main Street. Report taken.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

7:20 p.m. – Vehicle listed as stolen out of Salem recovered, 1200 block of Main Street. 

Aug. 21

Police arrested one person on warrants for contempt of court.

12:35 a.m. – Tyler Thorn Hoskinson, 22, arrested for attempting to assault a police officer, fraudulent use of a credit card, identity theft and second-degree forgery, 3100 block of S. Santiam Highway. Caller had reported a male wearing a hoodie had climbed into a clothing drop box in the parking lot. A male subject allegedly tried to jab an officer with a broomstick. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:38 a.m. – Lamar Wilson arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of meth, 2200 block of S. Santiam Highway. Caller had reported a male attempting to steal the caller’s motorcycle. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported that someone put up a fraudulent ad on Craigslist for one of her rental properties. 

2:16 p.m. – Caller reported someone cut the fuel line on her motor home and stole $150 in fuel, 600 block of Vaughan Lane. Damage estimated at $3,600.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into a vehicle and took $5 to $10 in change and an emergency roadside kit, 500 block of Cascade Drive. 

5:09 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle, 300 block of Boulder Falls. 

7:28 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. 

Aug. 20

Police arrested six persons on warrants for contempt of court. 

Police issued one citation for speeding, one for using a cell phone while driving and one for failure to renew registration. 

5:33 a.m. – Bobbie Horner, Marion County warrant for third-degree theft and Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft and for contempt of court and probation violation, 700 block of F Street. 

6:03 a.m. – Caller reported a window screen pried from a room on the east side of the building, 2163 S. 7th St., Cascades Elementary. No entry gained into the school. Damage valued at $16. Report taken.

9:40 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut a fence and locks and entered storage sheds, 4500 block of Weirich Drive. Report taken.

12:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole two bags of cans from a carport, 200 block of Hobbs Street. 

12:38 p.m. – Caller reported a Suzuki motorcycle stolen, 38100 block of Weirich Drive. Report taken.

5:12 p.m. – Jessica Lynn Strawn, 36, arrested for possession of meth and a Linn County warrant for contempt of court, W. Oak and S. 12th. Caller had reported a female walking very slowly, making exaggerated movements. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:12 p.m. – Sarah Shelton arrested for first-degree arson after a disturbance at her residence, 400 Center St. 

8:57 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a mountain bike, 700 block of N. 5th Street. Report taken.

Aug. 18

Police arrested four persons on contempt of court warrants.

Police issued one citation for driving while suspended, one for no insurance, one for failure to carry registration and one for failure to obey a traffic control device.

5:58 a.m. – Caller reported subjects cut locks and took two mountain bikes, 300 block of Boulder Falls Drive. Caller’s husband pursued the subjects in a pickup and recovered one bike. Report taken.

7:53 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of  a tire, 185 Sherman St., Downtown Auto Sales. Report taken.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported vandalism to bathrooms, 1301 4th St., Wynn Mill Park. Report taken. A stolen bike was recovered and returned to owner.

3:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone wrote, “nice parking *******” in permanent marker on her vehicle’s windshield, 300 Sand Ridge Court. The caller admitted that she may have been over the parking line by an inch and a half. Information documented.

2:36 p.m. – Caller reported fraudulent activity on his bank account, 000 block of E. Jadon Street. 

4:33 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of .22 Smith and Wesson handgun, 800 block of Mazama. Report taken.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a shack, 3000 block of S. Santiam Hwy. Report taken.

5:44 p.m. – Caller reported a computer and bag of change taken from her vehicle, 400 block of W. A Street. The caller had forgotten to lock the doors. Caller had a fraudulent charge on her checking account for $100. Unknown whether the charge was related to the theft. Report taken.

Aug. 17

Police issued one citation for speeding, two for violation of the basic rule, one for failure to obey a traffic control device, two for driving uninsured and one for failure to yield when entering a roadway.

Police arrested five persons on contempt of court warrants.

8:23 a.m. – Leslie Gibson arrested for third-degree theft and on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 754 S. Main St., Sugar Vibes. Caller had reported the theft of a tip jar containing about $25.

8:27 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of marijuana plants and damage to a fence, 100 block of S. 7th Street. Loss valued at $1,500. Report taken.

1:56 p.m. – Jennifer Marie Bowler, 43, arrested for driving under the influence, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. 

3:52 p.m. – Caller reported that he lost his wallet and his EBT card was used several hours later, 1235 E. Grant St., River Park. Report taken.

11 p.m. – Lamar Wilson cited for second-degree criminal trespass, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. 

Aug. 16

Police issued two citations for driving while suspended, one for failure to install an ignitition interlock device, two for driving uninsured, one for failure to obey a traffic control device and one for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

Police arrested five persons on contempt of court warrants.

6:38 a..m. – Caller reported a window broken on a bus, 485 S. 5th St., Lebanon School District. Report taken for criminal mischief.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported a male siphoning fuel and then running away, leaving behind a gas can and hose, 300 block of B Street. 

12:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into her vehicle during the night and a lot of property was missing, 600 block of S. 12th Street. Report taken. 

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of two drills from a pickup toolbox, 100 block of E. Elmore Street. Report taken.

1:54 p.m. – Caller reported a subject sleeping in an alleyway, 300 block of Rose Street. Officer contacted a male sleeping in a grass alleyway. He told the officer Mother Nature commanded him to do so. He said he had a house nearby but couldn’t go back because he was shot and strangled there last year. He said he made his plan to get 20 winks but didn’t know what that  meant exactly and that Mother Nature told him to. He also said his plan was to not defy gravity for the rest of the day then spoke of various government experiments, chemicals, satellites and computer interference in people’s lives going back to the Nazis. Officer reported much of what he said didn’t really make sense, but he agreed to move along. He denied alcohol or drug use and did not appear to be a danger to himself. 

4:14 p.m. – Caller reported that three males ate at location and left a fake $100 bill on the table, 25 N. Santiam Hwy., Ixtapa. They left in a blue Honda  SUV. Report taken for first-degree forgery.

4:55 p.m. – Caller reported that she wired $1,800 to secure a $70,000 grant when she realized it was a scam, 400 block of W. A Street. Officer referred the caller to a Department of Justice fraud line and stopfraud.gov. Officer counseled the caller on not falling for these types of scams, which are too good to be true.

8:25 p.m. – Leslie Gibson, 51, cited for trespassing, 925 Park St., Ralston Park. 

10:29 p.m. – Caller reported the attempted theft of $53.80 in property, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. When the  caller confronted the subject, she gave back the items. 

11:47 p..m. – Billy Joe Richardson, 52, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and a Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and cited for driving uninsured, E. Grant and Cleveland. 

Aug. 15

Police cited one person for allowing a dog to be a nuisance, one for dog at large, one for failure to obey a traffic control device and four for speeding.

Police arrested three persons on warrants for contempt of court.

7:06 a.m. – A juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart.

12:07 p.m. – Caller reported an attempted fraud, 700 block of S. Main Street. The caller said she gave her account number to a scammer by phone. The scammer deposited $900 into her account and asked her to buy gift cards. The scam was communicated as computer help for the caller’s computer. She became suspicious and reported the activity to her bank and police prior to losing money. Accounts closed. Officer advised the caller not to answer any more of the scammer’s calls, to block the phone number and have her computer checked for fraudulent activity.

12:56 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a backpack worth $175, 1700 block of S. Main Street. Report taken.

2:36 p.m. – Caller reported a hole cut in a cyclone fence and bolt cutters still there, 1400 block of S. Main Street. Report taken. 

7:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a female took a dog that was tied up, 1000 block of S. Main Street. Report taken for first-degree theft.

8:51 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a speaker from a turkey that was on display, 800 block of S. Main Street. 

9:17 p.m. – Tyler Hockinson, 22, arrested for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, 38000 block of Middle Ridge Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported the theft of glasses. 

10:35 p.m. – Caller reported a female left with a bag full of miscellaneous items, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway.

11:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone spray painted the inside of a restroom, 1301 S. 4th St., Wynn Mill Park.

Police arrested three persons on warrants for contempt of court.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported her garbage can was stolen during the night, 31300 block of Waterloo Road. Loss valued at $75. Report taken.

Aug. 13

Police arrested five persons on warrants for contempt of court.

3 p.m. – James J. Cripe, 48, arrested on warrants for third-degree theft and failure to appear on a criminal citation, 40 N. 2nd St.

3:48 p.m. – Caller found an odd item oustide the store, 3290 S. Santiam Hwy., Wal-Mart. The item was similar to a voodoo doll. Caller was advised to throw it away.

4:22 p.m. – Caller reported four to six juveniles at Ralson Park, 925 Park St., pouring out bottled water. The caller said they stated they purchased the water using a food stamp card and were dumping out the water for the 10-cent deposit. Caller wanted an officer to talk to the individuals about better use of taxpayer money. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate juveniles.

8:13 p.m. – Caller reported vandalism in Ralston Park, 925 Park St. Officer found paint cans and random lines painted in the grass and curb but no significant damage. Three persons in the area of spray cans had matching blue paint on their hands, and one had painted his backpack, shoes and shorts blue. All three were issued park exclusions.

Aug. 12

Police arrested two persons on warrants for contempt of court.

Police issued one citation for failure to obey a traffic control device in two-vehicle crash.

9:33 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle had been hit during the night, 500 block of B Street. Report taken.

2:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone may have shot out the rear driver’s side window in the caller’s vehicle, Park and E. Isabella. Report taken.

Aug. 11

Police arrested six persons on warrants for contempt of court.

Police issued two citations, one for failure to renew registration, one for driving while suspended, one cited for violation of the basic rule and two for failure to maintain lane of travel.

2:38 a.m. – Caller  reported that he was assaulted, 1200 block of S. Main. Report taken.

8:12 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a GPS unit, 100 block of Wheeler. Loss valued at $30. Report taken.

12:33 p.m. – Deputy located stolen mail involving seven victims on the road, 31800 block of Berlin Ridge Road. Report taken.

10:19 p.m. – Leslie Gibson cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. 

Aug. 10

6:50 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a well house during the night and took items, 3600 block of S. Santiam Highway. Report taken.

8:33 a.m. – Caller reported that someone threw rocks through at least three windows and took three or four samurai-style swords valued at $20 each, 181 W. Sherman St., The Gypsy’s Loot. Report taken.

1:45 p.m. – Caller reported that a male took his EBT card out of the caller’s hand, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

6:26 p.m. – Caller reported a license plate stolen from her vehicle, 000 block of Market Street. Report taken.

6:51 p.m. – Leonid Samoylich, 40, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 500 block of Mullins Drive. Samoylich cited and released then placed on a physician’s hold. Caller had reported a male in the pond and refusing to get out. The male had no shirt and  was being combative. 

8:54 p.m. –  Hobert Dale Yancey, 60, arrested for driving under the influence and hit and run, W. Grant and S. Main. 

9:50 p.m. – Caller reported she was assaulted, 400 block of Center Street. Report taken. 

10 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a black steel bar that holds three rolls of toilet paper, 1235 E. Grant St., River Park. Loss valued at $25. Report taken.

Aug. 9

12:56 a.m. – Michael Douglas Maxwell Gosnell, 37, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 600 block of S. Main Street. Caller had reported a male throwing a rock at the door to Serendipity Cafe. 

12:40 p.m. – Jacob Brenner Reeder, 18, arrested for fourth-degree assault, and Robbie Roy Wilson, 66, arrested for third-degree sexual abuse, 900 block of Park Street. Caller had reported a male shoving another male to the ground. A 66-year-old male was reported injured.

2:45 p.m. – Thomas Edwin Price, 47, arrested for driving under the influence, 500 block of W. Maple Street. 

6:41 p.m. – Tyler Mitchell Mengore, 25, and Erika Renee Driver, 20, cited for third-degree theft, 1983 S. Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported two shoplifters and $41.60 in items recovered. 

7:34 p.m. – When an officer was returning found property, it was reported as stolen from a vehicle, 100 block of Wendell Street. Report taken for theft.
