A drive-in Celebration of Life for Lebanon High School language arts teacher Anne Williams drew nearly 100 cars to the Motor-Vu Drive In outdoor theater complex at Cheadle Lake Thursday evening, Sept. 3.
Fellow teacher Tim Rowley speaks to the crowd about Williams, who died Aug. 27 of colon cancer.
Rowley and Kathleen Ramirez, Williams’ sister-in-law, speak to the crowd. Ramirez described Williams as a fun-loving, witty, and beloved teacher who delighted in amusement parks and motorcycles and was named Lebanon’s 2018 Teacher of the Year. She noted that a scholarship has been established in Williams’ name.
Neighbors of the Williams family, from left, Zach Ryan, Kenny Fitzwater, Paul Hurst, Arlene Klock and Wanda Hurst (in car) listen to the service, which included a slide show, below.
