The intersection of Stoltz Hill and Walker roads is closed to through-traffic till near the end of the month, to accommodate the construction of the Westside Sanitary Interceptor Project, with Stoltz Hill Road expected to remain closed through mid-May.
Emery & Sons Construction, a contractor for the City of Lebanon, will perform water line and sanitary main work starting Tuesday.
The intersection is expected to reopen to normal service on or about Friday, Feb. 25. Stoltz Hill Road will remain closed through April 15 to through traffic between Walker Road and Vaughan Lane for the construction of a new 30-inch sanitary main.
A detour route using Airport and South Main roads and Vaughan Lane will be in place to guide motorists around the Stoltz Hill Road work zone (see map at right). Impacted area residents will be given reasonable access but should expect short periods when access to individual driveways may not be possible, in addition to periodic delays and other construction-related inconveniences.
