School board pursues pool repair plan

During its April 10 meeting, the Lebanon School Board made a move to fix pool issues.

For pool repairs, the board authorized a design/build method to start the project, bypassing competitive bidding.

The $1 million project, funded equally by the aquatic and school districts, will replace the pool’s faulty gutter system, pumps, and pipes, repair cracks and resurface the pool. Officials noted the design/build method’s past success for complex projects. No public comments were received.
