Jan. 30

2:31 a.m. – Athena Noble, 38, of Albany, was transported to jail on a warrant, 43300 block of North River Drive. Report taken.

1:32 p.m. – Linn County Parks reported someone broke into Whitcomb Creek Campground and stole an electric converter box attached to a yurt. The latter item was valued at $1,700. 47700 block of Quartzville Road.

1:44 p.m. – Stephen Michael Scantlin, 49, was cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for second degree criminal trespass, 47th Ave./Green River Road.

2:47 p.m. – Mark Thomas Griner, 61, was cited for failure to renew registration, 600 block of Main St.

4:40 p.m. – Sheriff’s Office reported that an 82-year-old male was found deceased in his residence by a family member in the 25900 block of Old Holley Road. The death appeared to have been due to multiple medical issues, natural causes. Report taken.

10:37 p.m. – Lewis Reed Conn, 18, was cited for speeding, Cedar Shack 4102 Hwy. 20.

Jan. 31

9:00 a.m. – Thomas Mann, 36, of Sweet Home, arrested on warrant after being contacted while illegally camped along Foster Lake. 43600 block North River Dr.

10:06 a.m. – Deputy contacted a group illegally camped on Marks Ridge Drive, blocking Cascade Timber Consulting gate. They were advised to move along.

10:11 a.m. – Charity Dawn Rice-Pudilo, 44, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, and first degree possession of a controlled substance, 1950 Main St.

12:12 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle break-in, with the theft of two backpacks, 370 block of W. Pine St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft. Approximate value: $215.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported a male stealing items from a store and that his brother followed him to Safeway, where it was thought that he would steal again, 621 Main St. Alexander Michael Maybee, 27, was cited and released for third-degree theft. Also cited on Albany Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft.

4:19 p.m. – Nickolas Ryan Shoulders, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of son’s tools from a truck bed the previous evening, 341 Nandina St.

Feb. 1

4:43 a.m. – Bryanna Sue Harley, 31, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.

4:51 a.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 42, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported that his house cleaner had taken checks with his signature and cashed them, 900 block of 2nd Ave. Report taken for first-degree theft.

11:49 a.m. – Rhonda Hodge, 54, arrested for driving under the influence, 43200 block North River Dr. Report taken.

1:44 p.m. – Joe Allen Wayne Wood, 33, was cited on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt and a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of harassment. Arrested on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt and on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation, 18th Ave./Kalmia St. Also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.

4:32 p.m. – Joshua Leslie, 34, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Thriftway, 621 Main St.

7:21 p.m. – Caller reported an afternoon bike theft from the Sweet Home Public Library, 1101 13th Ave. Report taken for second-degree theft.

10:51 p.m. – Caller reported someone banging on a door, 600 block of Elm St. Officer responded and found damage to a window. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief.

Feb. 2

5:19 a.m. – Jack Edward Counts, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for fraudulent use of a credit card, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

2:24 p.m. – Loris David Whitton, 67, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for offensive littering and on two Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original second-degree charge and failure to appear on a criminal citation X2, Clark Mill Road/Main St.

2:51 p.m. – Andrea Harper, 38, was cited and released for second-degree child neglect, 1300 block of Sunset Lane.

3:08 p.m. – Giustina Resources reported criminal mischief in 39800 block Childers Dr. Deputies found Douglas fir over 45 feet tall illegally cut, left to waste. Report taken.

4:26 p.m. – Austin Ryan Richards, 29, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second- and third-degree theft and on a statewide felony warrant for forgery, 600 block of Main St.

6:19 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole money from a tip jar then hit the owner with a door during an ensuing chase, Serranos, 1502 Long St. Report taken for third-degree robbery. Loss of value: $10.

Feb. 3

12:12 a.m. – Lauraina Dearden, 34, of Sisters, was cited and released on a warrant, 43700 block of North River Drive. Report taken.

3:28 a.m. – Caller reported a pickup break-in, 500 block of Juniper St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. Approximate loss of value: $95.

4:35 a.m. – April Grace Gerhold, 32, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Multnomah County Jail.

8:01 a.m. – Caller reported entry into and items taken from two unlocked vehicles, 800 block of 8th Ave. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle X2 and second-degree theft. Approximate loss of value: $180.

8:02 a.m. – Caller reported tires dumped on nearby property, 44000 block of Shea Hill Drive. It was determined that logging company was using tires to protect the road. No further action.

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported a female looking into vehicles, 1000 block of Long St. eastbound. Rebecca Long, 42, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.

3:22 p.m. – Aaron Leopold Lovato, 29, was cited and released on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court, 12th Ave./Tamarack St.

3:58 p.m. – Caller reported dogs attacking caller’s dog in the 39900 block of Mountain Home Drive. Deputy unable to locate involved dogs or any witnesses.

4:04 p.m. – Caller reported two males with a possibly stolen motorcycle, 900 block of 6th Ave. Luke Kenneth Dale Buehner, 39, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit warrant for failure to appear on original charges of contempt of court, a criminal citation X3 and a second-degree charge X4.

7:14 p.m. – Caller reported a possibly intoxicated male driving without a license, Mahogany Lane/46th Ave. Michael James Coomer, 48, was cited for driving with a suspended license.

9:43 p.m. – Deputy checked a motorhome parked illegally in the 43900 block of North River Drive, next to Foster Lake. Operator asked to move it.

10:14 p.m. – Samantha Leann Stotz, 31, was arrested on a Linn County Supervisory warrant for third-degree theft X2, Oak Terrace/6th Ave.

Feb. 4

7:07 a.m. – Caller reported a female on his back porch in the 1000 block of Northside Drive. Deputy located female, learned that she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument and he had dropped her off in unfamiliar area. Deputy provided the female with a courtesy ride back to Lane County.

7:54 a.m. – Joshua Welch, 34, was cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a second-degree charge and on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft, 700 block of 12th Ave.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported someone using fake money at Mr. Lucky’s Deli 1207 Long St.

9:16 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office and medics responded to crash in 45000 block of Quartzville Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, John Youngman, 48, of Sweet Home, driving a 1998 Toyota Corolla, missed a corner and went off road to a waterline 200 feet below near Milepost 13. Youngman’s car rolled about 200 feet down the embankment to the waterline. He was uninjured and the vehicle was towed back up the hill. Report taken.

9:56 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office located a group of homeless individuals camping illegally in the 44200 block of Hwy. 20. They agreed to pack up and move along.

1:08 p.m. – Caller reported a driver colliding with a gate at the football field and leaving a bumper behind, bumper left behind, Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St.

2:03 p.m. – Caller reported a possible dog theft, 1100 block of 38th Ave.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported finding some valuables missing from a home in the 40000 block Crawfordsville Dr. Caller stated he believed his adult stepdaughter may have taken his belongings and wanted suggestions on how to handle the situation. Investigation ongoing.

2:20 p.m. – Caller reported a male taking dogs from her vehicle; she jumped into the back of his pickup to get them back (she called the police from his truck as he drove to Tamarack St.), 400 block of 16th Ave. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. Both parties were separated and the dogs were returned.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a compressor stolen from in front of a residence in the 1200 block of Fern Lane. Report taken. Approximate loss of value: $30.

5:56 p.m. – Sheriff’s Office assisted Oregon State Police with a vehicle-vs.-deer crash in the 40900 block of Hwy. 228.

7:46 p.m. – Lucas Lee Victor Sr. was cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, 4500 block of Main St.

11:46 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen from a customer’s truck while parked at Mr. Lucky’s Deli, 1207 Long St. Report taken. The unidentified subject allegedly menaced the victim while carrying a large pipe.

Feb. 5

7:44 a.m. – Caller reported being robbed the previous evening by his wife and her friends, 900 block of Poplar St.

10:18 a.m. – Theodore Shinall, 44, of Sweet Home, arrested for failing to register as sex offender. Also cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. Berlin/Waterloo roads. Report taken.

3:01 p.m. – Tiffany Ann Burks, 42, was cited for speeding 52/35, 1300 block of 43rd Ave.

3:11 p.m. – Danni Rae Glassley, 32, was cited for speeding 54/35, 4300 block of Main St.

7:16 p.m. – Deputy responded to a Fentanyl overdose in the 25100 block of Brush Creek Road. Victim was a 20-year-old adult male. He was conscious, breathing and alert when the deputy arrived. He refused medical treatment and was transported to hospital by family.

8:53 p.m. – Caller reported someone with a small fire yelling under the Pleasant Valley Bridge. Officer responded. The garbage fire was extinguished. No property damage. Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 36, was arrested on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation. Cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first and second-degree criminal trespass.
