James Randall Ogle, Jr., 28, was charged Oct. 31 with unlawful possession and delivery of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school. Bail was set at $25,000.
Denis Lee Parker, 43, was charged Oct. 31 with first-degree burglary, harassment and second-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $25,000.
Robert Paul Prettyman, 34, was charged Nov. 2 with third-degree assault and two counts of second-degree manslaughter in regards to a May 14 crash at Hwy. 20 near Liberty Road during which two California residents were killed. Bail was set at $300,000.
Joseph Clayton Pritchett, 60, was charged Nov. 1 with failure to perform the duties of a driver to injured persons (a Class C felony) and failure to perform the duties of a driver when property is damaged.
Jeffrey Scott Rowe, 52, was charged Nov. 3 with strangulation and two counts of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. Bail was set at $25,000.
Oct. 28
7:35 a.m. – Deputy located a trailer in the 200 block of Alder St., Lebanon, that was creating a traffic hazard. While the trailer was being removed from the roadway, it was discovered that the vehicle on the trailer, a 2001 Honda Accord, had been stolen from Sweet Home on July 21. The trailer was towed and the vehicle was returned to the owner. Report taken.
Oct. 31
7:57 a.m. – Caller reported someone cutting locks to and stealing items from an electrician’s trailer, 1200 block of 49th Ave. Report taken for second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree theft. Approximate value: $2,000.
8:22 a.m. – Caller reported a light stolen from her yard, 4100 block of Osage St. Report taken for third-degree theft. Approximate value: $30.
8:37 a.m. – Robert Oar, 45, of Sweet Home, was cited and released on Linn County Justice Court and Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for probation violation and second-degree failure to appear. 44900 block of Quartzville Road. Report taken.
9:50 a.m. – Robert Oar, 45, of Springfield, was cited and released on outstanding warrants. He was also trespassed for seven days for allegedly driving through the park on the grass. He was escorted off the property. Sunnyside Park, 44900 block of Quartzville Road.
10:57 a.m. – Callers reported transients not packing up and moving from the old City Hall, 1140 12th Ave., for the day. Officer responded; all tents were taken down. Michael Evan Matthews, 37, was cited and released for second-degree theft.
1:11 p.m. – Deputy took an individual into custody on a police officer mental health hold after an apparent self-harm attempt, 38400 block of Glass St., Crawfordsville. Report taken.
9:54 p.m. – Caller reported a previously trespassed female currently at a location, 800 block of 3rd Ave. Ashley Ruthann McCarthy, 25, was cited and released for first-degree criminal trespass.
11:08 p.m. – Andrew James Freitag, 21, was arrested for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon Police Department.
Nov. 1
9:32 a.m. – Mail theft reported in the 26700 block of Rowell Hill Road. Report taken.
11:20 a.m. – Emily Spier, 23, was cited and released on a Lebanon Police Department warrant, 27200 block of High Deck Road. Report taken.
1:19 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle vs. bicyclist crash, 15th Ave./Main St. The bicyclist was transported by medics and warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.
Nov. 2
12:10 a.m. – Caller reported a disturbance between a male and female, 800 block of Long St. George Earl Scott Dunn, 20, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court statewide felony warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-degree criminal mischief.
8:30 a.m. – Crash reported in the 41900 block of North River Drive. The vehicle was gone on arrival. No report of property damage.
11:55 a.m. – Caller reported a noninjury motor vehicle crash, 800 block of 18th Avenue. Less than $2,500 in damage. Montigue, 16, was cited for careless driving and causing the accident.
2:11 p.m. – Jaime Castro-Hernandez, 26, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Linn County Jail.
2:40 p.m. – Natasha Sue Funk, 43, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.
3:03 p.m. – Deputy reported approximately 7 inches of snow near the top of the U.S. Forest Service roads off 51100 block of Quartzville Road.
3:05 p.m. – Deputy located a camp in Boulder Creek gravel pit near milepost 20 on Quartzville Road. A male had overstayed the 14-day limit and was advised to vacate the site.
Nov. 3
1:10 a.m. – Gloria May Friedrich, 50, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 400 block of Main St.
10 a.m. – Deputies assisted in finding a missing youth. He was located at school, 24800 block of Springer Road. Report taken.
12:33 p.m. – Caller reported a phone theft from her house, 1700 block of Fir St.
1:32 p.m. – Melissa Corliss, 48, of Sweet Home, was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to renew registration, Santiam Hwy./Santiam Terrace.
8:36 p.m. – Shenese Danielle Cobian, 29, was cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, and second-degree child neglect X2 and resisting arrest. Also cited for failure to drive on the right side of the road, 4000 block of Osage St.
9:07 p.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 46, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Linn County Jail.
10:50 p.m. – Derl Brown, 36, was cited for operating an unsafe vehicle, 1100 block of 48th Ave.
Nov. 4
2:31 a.m. – Mollie Anglim, 43, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 2000 block of Main St.
2:57 a.m. – Kelee Joan Gatliff, 57, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, Wiley Creek Park, 1936 54th Ave.
8:53 a.m. – Caller reported a cat theft, 1200 block of 40th Ave. Report taken; unknown value.
3:46 p.m. – Caller reported criminal mischief on Cascade Timber Consulting property, 39800 block of Childers Drive. A tree was felled across the road and left in place. No wood had been taken from the tree. Report taken.
4:19 p.m. – Judith Suzette Gaskey, 61, was cited for a dog as a public nuisance, 1100 block Ironwood St.
6:10 p.m. – A male accidentally stabbed himself in the abdomen. 25300 block of Crescent Hill Road. In stable condition. Report taken.
6:11 p.m. – Caller reported that a female would like to confess to a false report, 900 block of Elm St. 15-year-old referred to Linn County Juvenile Dept.
6:48 p.m. – Caller reported that her husband had driven up Swamp Mountain and came down to find the gate apparently locked. He called for help, then realized the gate was not actually locked, just closed. Was able to drive out. Hwy. 20/Cascadia Drive.
7:26 p.m. – Large tree fell across power lines near North River Drive/Sunnyside Road. Consumers Power responded to cut a tree off lines. Linn County Road Dept. cleared the road and assisted with diverting traffic.
8:18 p.m. – Robert Ray West, 39, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no insurance, 1200 block of Long St.
Nov. 5
2:38 a.m. – Deven Jones, 33, of Cascadia, was cited and released for felony driving while suspended, Long St./10th Ave. Report taken.
7:36 a.m. – Caller reported an ex-boyfriend in the bedroom of her apartment, 900 block of Long St.. It was unknown how he got in, as the caller was out of state. Officer responded and contacted male. Miscommunication with roommate. He was advised not to return until he works things out with the caller. Haven Hansen, 27, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless endangering X2.
12:15 p.m. – Caller reported finding two needles near trash cans, 1000 block of 14th Ave. Both items were disposed of.
12:28 p.m. – Caller reported two credit cards established in his name, and at least one had charges, 5300 block of Main St. Report taken for fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree forgery.
12:47 p.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 41, was cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass, and a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 13th Ave./Kalmia St.
Nov. 6
11:31 a.m. – James Paul Chapin, 34, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest, Curry County Sheriff’s Office.
Edward Stevens, 37, of Sweet Home, was arrested and transported to Linn County Jail for warrants out of Jackson County for DUII and second-degree child neglect. 29000 block of Hwy. 20. Report taken.
4:16 p.m. – Forest Lee Steinborn, 30, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
