Smoke causes scare at hospital

At 5:23 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, Lebanon Fire District was dispatched for a structure fire at Lebanon Community Hospital in the boiler room. There were reports of smoke in the building. Upon arrival the incident commander found no smoke or fire showing from the structure.

LFD searched the building for heat and smoke with thermal imaging cameras. Lebanon Community Hospital maintenance crew assisted LFD with searching the building. After a thorough search, LFD was not able to find a heat source. The maintenance crew remained on scene to check all the electrical systems. The hospital did receive brief power outage prior to the report of the structure fire.
