Sweet Home circuit court and police logs Nov. 14-18, 2022

Warrants are out on the following individuals: Samuel Frank Ayers, Noah David Colgrove, Curtis Ray Daniel, Andrew James Freitag, Aaron Thomas Halvorson, Noe Hernandez-Reyes, Michael Trevor Hilton, Faron Walter Kennedy, Taylor Robert Mespelt, Carrie Lynne Miller, Kendra Lynne Montoya, Larry Robert Morgan, Julianne Nicole Phillips, Joseph Clayton Pritchett, Tammy Lavonn Robinson, Steven Edward Robinson, Paula Marie Lea Skyles-Lutzi, Jake James Sorrell and Zachary Shane Stegner

Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 29, was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree burglary and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Bail was set at $20,000. He has 12 other UUV and related charges still pending.

Steven Edward Robinson, 31, was charged Nov. 7 with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Ryan Anthony Shelton, 29, was sentenced Nov. 14 to one year suspension of a driver’s license, 36 months bench probation, 20 days jail and $2,355 in fines and fees based on a no contest plea for a DUII charge with a .16% BAC and failure to appear.

Corey Alan Smith, 58, was charged Nov. 16 with failure to report as a sex offender and giving false information to a peace officer in connection with a citation or warrant.

Alexandra Marie Tevogt, 33, was charged Nov. 18 with two counts of fleeing or attempting to elude, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another and first-degree criminal mischief.

James Brian Tidwell, 64, was charged Nov. 16 with three counts of identity theft, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary and first-degree theft.

Police Logs

Nov. 14

1:19 a.m. – Alexis Nichole Armstrong cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 20th Avenue and Sun Lane.

5:07 a.m. – Caller reports son is at her house on drugs and he is scaring her, 1709 Fir St. Kaleb Kimber Banta, 24, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft, third-degree escape, resisting arrest, harassment, and second-degree criminal trespass.

8:02 a.m. – Charas Blanco, 49, of Sweet Home, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. Also cited for trespassing and theft of forest products. According to Sheriff’s Office, Blanco had collected “large amount of mushrooms for the purpose of selling them.” 44900 block Quartzville Rd./South Bank Rd. Report taken.

8:33 a.m. – Charas Lelainia Blanco, 49, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of contempt of court, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

11 a.m. – Deputy on patrol in 46900 block Quartzville Rd. spotted elaborate fishing shack on bank of Green Peter Reservoir. Unoccupied when approached. LCSO will keep eye out for “engineers responsible.”

2:34 p.m. – Caller reported license plate stolen off county Parks Department vehicle between 4:30 on Nov. 10 and time of call. 1400 block 60th Ave. Report taken.

3:46 p.m. – Callers report motor vehicle crash, one vehicle blocking center lane, Main Street/Pleasant Valley Road. Damage over $2,500.

4:21 p.m. – Jeremy Barber, 52, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, 4600 block Main St.

4:50 p.m. – Thomas Charles Mann, 35, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

4:51 p.m. – Shauna Ray Harden, 28, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

10:10 p.m. – Alyssa Kathleen Thomas, 23, cited and released on Albany Municipal cite and release warrant for third-degree theft, 890 18th Ave.

10:46 p.m. – Leanna Smith, 35, of Cascadia, cited and released on warrant. 27100 block High Deck Rd. Report taken.

11 p.m. – Leanna Kay Lynn Smith, 35, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

Nov. 15

8:49 a.m. – Donald O’Brien, 29, cited for driving uninsured, Hoy’s Hardware.

8:50 a.m. – Deputy on patrol of Cascade Timber Consulting property in 25300 block Crescent Hill Rd. came upon possible tampering with private timber gate. Trail cameras being deployed.

2:10 p.m. – Caller reports she was scammed, sent $2,500 via money order to 444 Main St. Report taken.

2:22 p.m. – Denise Burrow, 55, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St.

2:58 p.m. – Oregon State Police passed on traffic complaint, male driving a gold Chevy Blazer not able to maintain lane, heading eastbound on Main Street, milepost 20. Caller reports driver parked in the 400 block of Oak Terrace, pulled up onto curb. Corey Smith, 58, arrested for providing false information to a police officer and failure to register as a sex offender, and on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Arrested on Albany Municipal Court cite and release warrant for contempt of court and a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of hit and run.

6:22 p.m. – Larry Allen Langford, 71, cited and released on Linn County Justice Court misdemeanor warrant for driving with a suspended license, 2308 Main St. Also cited and released for failure to register as a sex offender.

8:23 p.m. – Caller reports his vehicle was broken into and some tools were stolen, 1207 Long St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and second-degree theft, approximate value $300.

Nov. 16

8:53 a.m. – Nicholas Warren, 42, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree theft, 1200 block Main St.

10:17 a.m – Deputy located abandoned camp with two tents at Milepost 26 on Quartzville Rd. Camp was dirty, with nothing left to identify owner.

10:40 a.m – Scott Cook, 50, of Sweet Home, cited for driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance. Main Street/10th Ave.

3:25 p.m. – Caller reports generator stolen from garage, 5250 Redwood St. Report taken for firstdegree burglary and first-degree theft.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported concerns about trees threatening them. Deemed mental health situation. 40100 block Hwy. 228.

5:12 p.m. – Loris David Whitton, 67, cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of contempt of court, 1950 Main St.

11:57 p.m. – Caller reports being harassed and said multiple individuals stole from him a few days ago, 3225 Main St. Report taken

for third-degree theft, approximate value $75.

Nov. 17

5:17 a.m. – Ember Ann McAlpin, 39, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

8:32 a.m. – Abandoned boat with no known owner dumped at Cascade Timber Consulting GP120 gate. To be removed as trash. 45200 block Sunnyside Rd.

10:39 a.m. – Caller reports someone emptied out her father’s bank account, 1428 Main St. LinnCo Federal Credit Union. Report taken for fraudulent use of a credit card and first-degree theft, value of $4,428.

3:30 p.m. – Juvenile arrested on warrants, 24800 block Springer Rd. According to Sheriff’s Office, juvenile had multiple warrants for criminal mischief and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. Juvenile was taken to Linn Benton Juvenile Detention. Report taken.

4:58 p.m. – Caller reports male forced his way into his home, 3224 Main St. Report taken for second-degree criminal trespass, officer will attempt to locate male and trespass him, 3224 Main St.

7:18 p.m. – Caller reports house was broken into and items are missing, 1957 Long St. Report taken for first-degree burglary, second-degree theft and seconddegree criminal mischief.

Nov. 18

1:13 a.m. – Collin William Church arrested on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Oregon State Police.

4:36 a.m. – Hunter Ringheimer, 29, of Sweet Home, cited and released for driving while suspended; also cited for driving uninsured and expired registration. 1300 block 18th Ave. Report taken.

8:23 a.m. – Caller reports his gun was stolen from his truck, 1900 block Long St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and first-degree theft.

11:10 a.m. – Deputies assisted with recovery of stolen trailer, 24900 block Springer Rd. Trailer was a white 14-foot, enclosed trailer containing two black Artic Cat snowmobiles. It was taken three days prior to the call. Lebanon Police Department located the trailer on South Main Road in Lebanon. Nothing had been taken or damaged. Lebanon police found the trailer, called the owner and learned he had not reported it stolen. Owner called LCSO to make the report that it was stolen, then found. Report taken.

1:46 p.m. – Kern Andrew Smith, 26, cited and released on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, Main Street/46th Avenue. Also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.

3:31 p.m. – Business reported bank fraud, 27200 block Rowell Hill Rd. Caller reporting fraudulent checks being written on business account. Bank has stopped the checks. Investigation into the checks and security footage. Report taken.

9:35 p.m. – Andrea Higgins, 42, of Tigard, cited for driving while suspended, failing to register vehicle and driving uninsured. 23700 block Brush Creek Rd.
