9:25 a.m. – Deputy responded to disturbance in 28800 block Weatherly Lane. According to Sheriff’s Office, family member had evicted another family member out of a business without going through the court system. Deputy instructed parties involved on civil eviction process.
9:35 a.m. – Caller reported transient camp on edge of their property, 27700 block Hwy. 20.
10:04 a.m. – Caller’s wife lost their debit card. Since July 7 they have had $1,700 worth of charges at Foster Lake Mall, 5480 Main St. Report taken for fraudulent use of a credit card and first-degree theft.
3:26 p.m. – Caller reports neighbor playing loud obscene music, 1292 44th Ave. Levi Bransom, 29, cited for unnecessary noise.
7:29 p.m. – Frank Joseph Coelho, 67, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, a Lebanon Municipal warrant for contempt of court, and a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-degree theft, 1291 46th Ave.
8:32 p.m. – Driver cited for overlength truck, failure to obey traffic control. Further details not available. 50000 block Hwy. 20.
9:49 p.m. – Deputy noted campsite near Milepost 20 on Quartzville Road in which occupants had been told to leave the previous week. Site was unoccupied, but deputy tagged it advising occupants to leave immediately. Investigation continuing.
9:58 p.m. – Deputy contacted campers near Milepost 19 on Quartzville Road who were advised to leave after staying beyond time limit.
10:36 pm. – Deputy located transients illegally camped near MIlepost 22 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to pack up and move on.
July 11
1:34 a.m. – Officer located subject underneath a vehicle belonging to the school district in parking lot, 1641 Long St. Robert Kevin Gardner, 57, cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass and cited for third-degree attempted theft.
8:21 a.m. – Caller reports vehicle was broken into, 1641 Long St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle and second-degree theft, approximate loss of value $200.
9:45 a.m. – Caller reports she was scammed out of $4,410, 1465 Westwood Ln. Report taken, approximate loss of value $4,500.
12:15 p.m. – Caller reports female shoved her two different times while she was investigating a case, 3026 Main St. 19. Sha-marie Wall, 38, cited and released for harassment.
4:17 p.m. – Deputy responded to rock slide on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property in 46300 block Quartzville Road, which caused a road hazard.County Road Department cleared boulders.
6:55 p.m. – Sandra Martinez, 52, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, 800 block Long St.
9:03 p.m. – Group of campers in area of Quartzville/Boulder Creek roads were contacted by deputy about not having any valid registration on their vehicles.
9:12 p.m. – Deputy located campers at Milepost 20 at Quartzville Road who had fire without a steel fire ring. They were warned and advised to extinguish the fire and move to a different site with a ring.
11:18 p.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 47, arrested on Linn County Supervisory Authority warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1000 block Main St.
July 12
2:13 a.m. – Theresa Alberts, 35, of Sweet Home, arrested on four outstanding warrants, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. McDowell Creek Drive/Fairview Road. Report taken.
8:54 a.m. – Keoni Martin Murray, 64, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree theft, Albany Police Department.
11:32 a.m. – Joel Inkenbrandt, 29, arrested for contempt of court, 1950 Main St.
12:28 p.m. – Cody Allen Bowman, 33, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, 1950 Main St.
3:53 p.m. – Julianne Nicole Phillips, 29, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.
6:11 p.m. – Family member requested welfare check on 80-year-old father in 38400 block Crawfordsville Drive. Deputy located the man deceased in his driveway. Investigation indicated male had multiple medical issues and had likely died of natural causes. Report taken.
9:58 p.m. – Caller reports someone stole doorbell camera, 2500 Long St. A104. Report taken for third-degree theft.
10:07 p.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 31, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to comply on an original charge of initiating a false report, 1540 Main St.
11:38 p.m. – Caller reports female is yelling and harassing her and won’t leave, 1547 9th Ave. Anna Rochelle House, 39, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
July 13
12:51 a.m. – David Philip Reeder, 63, cited and released for reckless burning, 1280 10th Ave. Also cited and released on Corvallis Municipal Court warrants for second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on an original charge.
8:16 a.m. – Loris David Whitton, 68, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of offensive littering and second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St.
11:28 a.m. – Female called Sheriff’s Office to report that a dog she adopted in November 2022 was not returned to her when the dog’s new owner determined she couldn’t keep it any more. Caller was advised that this was not a crime.
12:35 p.m. – Caller reports his fence was damaged and a baseball bat was stolen off of it, 2224 Long St. Two aluminum bats taken from property.
2:39 p.m. – David Lee Oviatt, 43, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation, 15th Avenue/Main Street.
4:37 p.m. – Sheriff’s Marine Patrol issued citations to the following on Foster Lake: Nicolas McGovern, 35, of Lebanon, cited for expired tags; Devin Stafford, 23, of Sweet Home, cited for expired tags; Dacia Hull, 31, of Lebanon, cited for no personal flotation device (PFD); Dendy Villegas, 62, of Sweet Home, cited for expired tags, no boater’s education card and no spotter while towing. 43700 block North River Drive. 6:31 p.m. – Prestin James Hugley, 39, cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree escape and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, 409 16th Ave.
8:20 p.m. – Timothy Dean James Morgan, 21, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of animal abandonment, 4420 Main St. Also cited for no operator’s license.
9:28 p.m. – Caller reports female stole stuff and is bullying her, 1840 Tamarack St. Katrina Lynn Gray, 39, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft.
9:47 p.m. – Caller reports female stole and used credit cards, 2230 Main St. A. Report taken for fraudulent use of credit card and second-degree theft.
11:36 p.m. – Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 47, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, 3000 block Main St.
July 14
11:26 a.m. – Caller reports fraudulent charges on her card, 1530 Tamarack St. Report taken for fraudulent use of credit card and identity theft.
2:01 p.m. – Benjamin Philip Hyatt, 44, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon Police Department.
7:20 p.m. – Paul William Kalina, 48, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft of services, Oregon State Police.
10:06 p.m. – Kayla Laree McKnight, 32, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for third-degree theft, 1130 18th Ave. 1.
10:38 p.m. – John Martin Weidner, 46, cited and released on Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of contempt of court, Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave.
11:10 p.m. – April Grace Gerhold, 32, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
2:15 p.m. – The following individuals were cited by Marine Patrol officers on Foster Lake, all for no PFD: Shalene Matthews, 39, of Sweet Home; Mark Grimmer, 50, of Salado, Texas; two juveniles, from Salem and Dallas; and Gabriel Hinchberger, 36, of Albany. 43700 block North River Drive. July 15
12:35 p.m. – Dallas Samson, 40, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St.
1:41 p.m. – Leslie Maynard, 50, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, 1100 block 12th Ave.
2:34 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of reckless personal watercraft and boat operating in the swimming area of Foster Lake, 2400 block Foster Dam Road. Offending watercraft were not located.
5:05 p.m. – Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in 42000 block Upper Calapooia Drive. Speed was determined to be a primary factor contributing to the crash. Driver, 17, of Lebanon, cited for careless driving. Driver and three juvenile passengers transported to Lebanon Community Hospital with minor injuries. Report taken.
July 16
11:41 a.m. – Caller reports male who has been trespassed from Dollar Tree, 2414 Main St., is there and threw food at caller and consumed some food. Darrell Mullenix, 49, cited and released for first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, and on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief, Corvallis Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of having an open container and an original charge X2, an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespass, and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree criminal trespass.
11:50 a.m. – Travis Sells, 33, of Sweet Home, cited for driving uninsured, driving while suspended, 1200 block Wiley Creek Drive.
11:55 a.m. – Citations issued to seven vehicles parked illegally at Calkins Boat Ramp in spaces marked “Boat Trailer Parking Only,” Hwy. 20/Quartzville Road.
12:15 p.m. – Robert Church, 51, of Sweet Home, arrested on warrant, cited for driving while suspended, Hwy. 20/Quartzville Road. Transported to Linn County Jail. Daniel Pope, 50, of Foster, arrested, transported to jail for warrants. Report taken.
12:37 p.m. – Daniel Alexander Pope, 50, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of recklessly endangering, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
12:49 p.m. – Multiple vehicles cited for parking in “Boat Trailer Parking Only” spots. Sunnyside Park, 44500 block Quartzville Road.
12:21 p.m. – Caller reported their “dilapidated and broken mailbox and post” missing from 39600 block Crawfordsville Drive. Suspect yet to be identified.
5:26 p.m. – Codey Stanley, 37, cited for dog as a public nuisance, Sweet Home Police Department.
6:19 p.m. – Caller reports boyfriend’s car was stolen from 1251 Clark Mill Rd.
6:31 p.m. – Tasha Mary Bowers-Curtis, 38, of Lebanon, cited for speeding, 78/55, failure to carry and present, and driving uninsured. Also cited and released on misdemeanor warrant. Passenger Kevin Michael Osberg, 35, of Lebanon, cited and released on misdemeanor warrant. 28500 block Hwy. 20. Report taken.
7:34 p.m. – Transient male illegally camped on BLM land on Quartzville Road advised to move on. Exact location not identified in the report.
9:20 p.m. – Juvenile driver issued multiple traffic citations in 44900 block Quartzville Road.

A charge of first-degree theft against Benjamin Wilson Allen, 71, was dismissed.
Zachariah Lee Davis Sr., 33, was charged June 19 with tampering with a witness.
Buzz Star Dodson Jr., 25, was sentenced June 9 to 15 days jail, 24 monts supervised probation based on a plea of no contest to fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and second-degree criminal mischief. Charges of menacing and two counts of strangulation were dismissed.
Derrick James Freeman, 26, was charged June 20 with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal driving while suspended or revoked, and felon in possession of a firearm. Bail was set at $30,000.
Austin Leroy Gray Jackson, 27, was sentenced June 20 to 13 months with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections and 12 months post-prison supervision based on a plea of guilty to second-degree burglary. A charge of second-degree theft was dismissed.
Billy Wayne Hatch Jr., 45, was charged May 25 with failure to report as a sex offender.
Christopher Kirt Edward Kaufman, 32, was charged June 30 and again on July 10 with criminal driving while suspended or revoked. In two other cases, the court allowed dismissal without prejudice charges of driving while suspended.
Charles James Marvel, 21, was charged July 10 with attempted unlawful delivery of a fentanyl, a controlled substance. Bail was set at $10,000.
Michael Eugene Meadors, 39, was charged July 7 with second-degree theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and three counts of identity theft. Bail was set at $5,000.
Taylor Robert Mespelt, 22, was sentenced June 27 to eight years with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections and 24 months post-prison supervision based on a plea of guilty to six counts of first-degree theft, two counts of felon in posession of a firearm and two counts of identity theft. Charges of seven counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, three counts of second-degree theft, three counts of computer crime and one count of identity theft were dismissed.
A charge of second-degree trespass against Michael Allen Perry Jr., 35, was dismissed.
Derrek Leo Reynolds, 54, was charged June 26 with conspiracy to commit tampering with a witness and conspiracy to commit tampering with physical evidence. He has a pending case concering allegations of first-degree assault and attempted second-degree murder.
Steven Edward Robinson, 32, was sentenced June 29 to one year revocation of a driver’s license, 20 days jail, 18 months supervised probation and a $100 fine based on a no contest plea to unauthorized use of a vehicle. A failure to appear charge was dismissed, but Robinson was sentenced to 20 days jail and a $100 fine for another failure to appear charge. In a separate case he was sentenced to 20 days jail and a $1,000 fine based on a plea of guilty to criminal driving while suspended or revoked. A second count of criminal driving was dismissed.
Antom Eric Strom, 37, was charged June 21 with first-degree sexual abuse for allegations involving a female under the age of 14. He posted 10% of a $50,000 bail.
Mark Anthony Vidal, 58, was charged June 22 with 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse. The allegations state the defendant possessed or duplicated multiple visual recordings from around the world of sexually explicit conduct. Bail was set at $25,000.
Chad Eric Von Cannon, 41, was charged July 13 with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving.
Kevin Michael Watkins, 44, was charged July 11 with driving while suspended or revoked, DUII, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, giving false information in connection to a citation or warrant. Bail was set at $30,000.
