Jason M. Comer, 45, was sentenced Nov. 15 to 120 days jail and 36 months bench probation based on a plea of no contest to second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief. A second-degree criminal trespass charge was dismissed.
Jeffrey Scott Rowe, 52, was sentenced Nov. 15 to 13 days jail and 24 months supervised probation based on a plea of no contest to fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. Other charges of strangulation and fourth-degree assault were dismissed.
Rhonda Sparks, 37, was charged Nov. 21 with third-degree theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $5,000.

Nov. 19
11:36 a.m. – Deputy located a travel trailer rented out by the caller, who reported that the renters refused to return it. Caller advised that they left it at Riverbend in space A8. Caller didn’t want to press charges but wanted a deputy to go by Riverbend and see if the trailer was there before coming for it. The caller was working with the rental company to work out the grievance. Trailer was recovered.
1:25 p.m. – Lisa Dozier, 48, of Lebanon, was cited for speeding, 80/55, 29000 block of Liberty Road.
4:58 p.m. – An illegal lakefront campsite was spotted in the 44700 block of Quartzville Road. Turned out to be unoccupied.
Nov. 20
12:16 a.m. – Caller reported that a female prohibited by a restraining order from being at 4650 Kalmia St. walked onto the property, where she may be in a trailer. Rhonda Rae Sparks, 37, was arrested for a restraining-order violation.
8:20 a.m. – Nicholas Meola, 36, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court felony warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of strangulation, 1100 block of 27th Ave.
9:10 a.m. – Animal remains dumped on the side of the road, Berlin Road/Marks Ridge Drive.
9:34 a.m. – Deputies responded to a report of a loose horse in the 28600 block of Hwy. 20. Local property owner was able to secure the horse and was caring for it until its owner could be located.
10:41 a.m. – Caller reported that a customer requested $40 in fuel but paid for only $20, 2200 block of Main St. Last seen headed westbound on Main.
11:53 a.m. – Tyler Young, 22, was arrested on a Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, 100 block of W. Osage St.
4:26 p.m. – Oregon State Police passed on a traffic complaint regarding a white cargo van unable to maintain its lane (according to a caller, it was using all three), driving with its hazards on at 40 miles per hour, with its driver pressed against the steering wheel and yelling. The van was headed eastbound from milepost 25 on Hwy. 20. Cara Coe, 44, was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
4:43 p.m. – Burglary of a shop reported in the 30100 block of Berlin Road. Missing items included: two tool bags with random tools, valued at approximately $300; red welder, approximately $250; welding hood, approximately $100; DeWalt cordless chainsaw, approximately $150; DeWalt pneumatic roofing nailer, approximately $200; DeWalt cordless skill saw, approximately $150; two DeWalt cordless oscillating tools, approximately $120 each; DeWalt corded orbital sander, approximately $140; DeWalt cordless orbital sander, approximately $120; DeWalt brushless cordless hammer drill, approximately $150; two Dewalt cordless brushless impact drills, approximately $100 each; two Dewalt cordless brushless drills, approximately $100 each; eight Dewalt eight-hour batteries 20V, approximately $70 each; Dewalt cordless stereo, approximately $70; Weedeater, approximately $250; Kreg pocket hole jig, approximately $90. 1:01 a.m. – Scott Citro, 47, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 47th Ave./Live Oak St.
7:46 a.m. – Kaitlyn Carpenter, 23, of Sweet Home, cited and released on warrants, 45900 block Hwy. 20. Report taken.
11:25 a.m. – Hit and run reported in the 1000 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Report taken.
3:01 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a granddaughter’s phone from her backpack at Oak Heights Elementary School, 605 Elm St. Oak Heights. Report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate value: $750.
3:02 p.m. – Caller reported a male removing his pants and flashing two girls on the railroad tracks along 18th Ave. Chase Michael Evan Kuske, 31, was arrested for first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct.
4:16 p.m./6:09 p.m. – Multiple visits by the Sheriff’s Office to the 39200 block of Crawfordsville Drive, responding to ongoing civil dispute regarding property lines.
5:44 p.m. – Caller reported someone stealing a bag of cans from a property, 700 block of 10th Ave. Report taken for third-degree theft. Approximate value: $40.
8:38 p.m. – Caller reported a broken back window on a vehicle, 1600 block of Long St. Report taken.

11:17 a.m. – Honey Lawson, age not available, cited for failure to license dog, warned for several dog violations.
2:24 p.m. – Caller reported a juvenile son kicking a vehicle and causing an unknown amount of damage. 42500 block of Upper Calapooia Drive. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
5:09 p.m. – Caller reported a male sending threatening text messages, 400 block of Juniper St. Report taken for telephonic harassment.

9:28 a.m. – Roseann Marie Wirth, 38, was cited and released for contempt of court, 1950 Main St.
1:33 p.m. – Caller reported someone hitting her vehicle the previous evening, 1100 block off 1st Ave. Danny Castro, 70, was cited and released for hit-and-run, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and reckless driving.
4:28 p.m. – Sheriff’s Office assisted Sweet Home Fire & Ambulance District personnel at a motor home fire on property that, according to the Sheriff’s log, was “not friendly to government,” 27100 block of High Deck Road.
10:26 p.m. – Deputy spotted two unattended fires and helped an individual at the scene put them out, 40000 block of Hwy. 228.
11:05 p.m. – Natayha Demay Moore, 23, was cited for driving uninsured, 1100 block of Mountain View Road.

5:17 a.m. – Brandy Lee Dozier, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving, Lebanon Police Department.
10:52 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle running into the A&W Restaurant building, 1010 Main St. The driver was unconscious. Rachell Ann Gandrud, 41, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft.
11:58 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree attempted burglary, Albany Police Department.
1:54 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive dog not allowing her to leave her residence, 1600 block of Cedar St. Report taken.

9:35 a.m. – Caller reported a package stolen from her front porch the previous morning, 400 block of 8th Ave. Report taken. Approximate loss of value: $500.
11:24 a.m. – Deputies located an illegal camp near weigh scales, 44300 block of Hwy. 20, Foster. Its occupant was advised to clean up and vacate the area immediately.
12:23 p.m. – Caller reported fuel siphoned from a van, 1200 block of Main St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft.
9:18 p.m. – Caller reported being assaulted by his spouse, 300 block of Boulder Ridge Drive. Renee Kaye Wells, 50, was arrested for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
11:33 p.m. – Caller reported a disturbance between his niece and nephew, 1900 block of Willow St. Report taken for domestic violence harassment. The parties were separated, with the female leaving in a vehicle to an unknown address.

12:14 a.m. – Caller reported someone siphoning gas from a tank and perhaps others’ vehicles, 300 block of W. Holley Road. Report taken for third-degree theft. The suspicious vehicle was described as a 1980s Toyota pickup, spray-painted black, with oversized tires. Estimated loss valued at $32.
2:51 a.m. – Wayde Leland Savolt, 24, was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants, Hwy. 20/60th Ave.
6:36 a.m. – Martin Raymond Moreno, 58, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance, parking lot, Coffee Hut, 2450 Main St.
7:02 a.m. – Cassandra Marie Foster, 29, was cited for driving with a suspended license, Clark Mill Road/Main St.
8:09 a.m. – KC Everett Merle Holt, 39, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Coos Bay Police Department.
9:04 a.m. – Scott Lee Reynolds, 63, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 3200 block of Main St.
10:24 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog killed her chickens. 27000 block of Greenville Road.
10:31 a.m. – Gerald Damon Moullet, 47, was cited for driving uninsured, 1100 block of 27th Ave.
11:11 a.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 34, cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second- and third-degree theft, 1100 block of 12th Ave.
