Andrew James Freitag, 22, was sentenced Feb. 8 to one year suspension or revocation of a driver’s license, 24 months bench probation, 96 hours jail and $1,355 in fees and fines based on a plea of no contest to DUII and failure to appear. Dismissed charges are criminal driving while suspended or revoked, unlawful possession of a controlled substance – schedule II and failure to appear.
Corey James Radley, 35, was sentenced Feb. 15 to 20 years with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections and 10 years post-prison supervision based on a plea of no contest to four counts of first-degree sexual abuse. Counts disposed with no conviction include two counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, coercion and two counts of private indecency.
Trevor Mac Wilson, 18, was charged Feb. 13 with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing constituting domestic violence, unlawful manufacture of a destructive device and possession of a destructive device. Court documents indicate that the device was a bomb or any combination of parts that could be used to create an explosive, incendiary or gas. Security was set at $15,000.

Feb. 13
7:24 a.m. – Deputy patrolled the south bank of Green Peter up to milepost 12. A large tree was found across the road.
1:27 p.m. – Deputy conducted a welfare check on a horse in the 40400 block of Upper Calapooia Drive after a caller expressed concerns. No crimes.
1:29 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen from his shed, 450 block of 10th Ave. Approximate loss of value: $300.
3:25 p.m. – Cole William Rinehart, 52, was cited for driving uninsured, 4100 block of Main St.
3:32 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen car, 4800 block of Main St. Report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
5:24 p.m. – U.S. Forest Service staffer was bit by a dog while rescuing it with the Sheriff’s Office. Hwy. 20/Latiwi Creek Road. According to the Sheriff’s OFfice, it appears the dog may have been abandoned on USFS property and the ranger was bitten while trying to capture the dog. The Sheriff’s Office was unable to verify what ultimately ended up happening with the dog. Report taken.
Feb. 14
1:10 a.m. – Caller reported a DUII in the 26000 block of 2nd St., Crawfordsville. A deputy determined there was nothing to report.
2:43 a.m. – Michael Ray Tomlinson, 35, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, 1280 block of 44th Ave. Also cited for driving with a suspended license.
4:01 a.m. – Caller reported a stolen car, 3400 block of Juniper St. Report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree theft.
6:49 a.m. – Caller reported a male using heroin in a bathroom, Safeway 1540 Main St. Officer responded. No need for medical attention. The man left the area and was trespassed from the location.
8:06 a.m. – Caller reported an early morning vehicle break-in, 3200 block of Juniper St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and-second degree theft. Approximate value: $480.
9:25 a.m. – Christine Turner, 38, and her juvenile son, both of Sweet Home, were cited for traffic violations in the 39400 block of Mountain Home Drive. Christine Turner was cited for providing a vehicle to an unqualified driver. Her 15-year-old son was cited for riding an ATV on a rowadway. The juvenile allegedly rode past a deputy after being previously warned about riding on the roadway.
10:02 a.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 47, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree forgery, 1950 Main St.
11:17 a.m. – Stolen vehicle recovered in the 48400 block of Hwy. 20. The Sweet Home Police Department advised they received a tip on the location of the stolen vehicle, a grey 2006 BMW 32, and requested that LCSO investigate. LCSO arrived at the location and located the vehicle in question. It was recovered and towed at the request of the legal owner. Location from which it was stolen was not immediately available. 12:54 p.m. – Kimberly Bachmeyer, 45, of Sweet Home, was cited on warrants, 48400 block of Hwy. 20. Report taken.
12:57 p.m. – Kimberly Ann Bachmeyer, 45, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
2:49 p.m. – Maxwell Phillip Stachelrodt, 30, was arrested for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany Police Department.
3:08 p.m. – Steven Mitchel Trimble, 27, was cited for speeding 58/35, driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, parking lot, former Ma’s Restaurant, 4219 Hwy. 20.
4:13 p.m. – Caller reported a possibly stolen wallet and a debit card with an unknown charge of $100 from Safeway, 100 block of 10th Ave.
5:22 p.m. – Chance Daniel Holley, 23, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for possession of heroin, 1950 Main St.
8:02 p.m. – Caller reported people yelling outside of a truck parked on the curb, 1300 block of 12th Ave. Katelyn Marie Randall, 19, was cited for careless driving and failure to obey a traffic control device.
8:55 p.m. – Caller reported a female shooting herself, 3100 block of Main St. Report taken. No further information available.
Feb. 15
3:05 a.m. – Benjamin Phillip Hyatt, 44, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon Police Department.
5:50 a.m. – Issac Booker Justham, 23, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.
7:41 a.m. – Caller reported that a former significant other had stolen his son’s social security card and spent its money, 1300 block of Poplar St. Report taken for second-degree theft. Value: $487.
10:35 a.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 29, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for contempt, a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant on third-degree theft, and an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court, Thriftway, 621 Main St.
3:09 p.m. – Callers reported continuing harassment from a male, 3200 block of Main St. The male was warned for telephonic harassment.
4:46 p.m. – Ian James Wallace, 25, was cited for dog as a public nuisance, Sweet Home Police Department, 1950 Main St.

2:14 a.m. – Caller reported someone in the locker room at Husky Field, 1012 22nd Ave. Robert Eugene Oar, 45, was cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass and on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license.
2:56 a.m. – Joshua Greene, 36, of Tangent, arrested on warrant, transported to Linn County Jail. Melissa Shreves, 36, of Sweet Home, cited and released on warrant. 43900 block North River Dr. Report taken.
11:23 a.m. – Deputy contacted four illegal camps in Quartzville area on BLM land.
12:37 p.m. – Principal advised a parent and a student reported a vandalized car to him, Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Report taken for third-degree criminal mischief. The investigation is continuing.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported extortion involving money, 43900 block of McDowell Creek Drive. Investigation ongoing. Further details unavailable. Report taken.
1:44 p.m. – Deputy contacted a male and female with a child, all illegally camped in the Quartzville area. They were advised of legal camping locations.
2:17 p.m. – Deputy contacted a group camped illegally near milepost 20 on Quartzville Road. The group was advised to leave.
2:37 p.m. – Nuisance camper Robert Mortimer III, of Newport, was contacted on BLM land along Quartzville Road, attempting to camp beyond the 14-day limit. Advised to pack up and leave.
4:08 p.m. – Elderly female was stranded in snow in the 50100 block of Quartzville Road after leaving the roadway. A good Samaritan picked her up and brought her to Sweet Home Police Department, where a Sheriff’s deputy located a family member to pick her up and facilitate the retrieval of her vehicle.
5:37 p.m. – Jennifer Clark, 48, was cited for dog as a public nuisance, 970 block of 23rd Ave.
Feb. 17
10:37 a.m. – Caller reported someone threw feces onto their deck and roof, 1026 29th Ave.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported extortion involving money. According to Sheriff’s Office, this was an online dating scam. The victim, 68, provided the suspect with sexually explicit images, after which the suspect then threatened the victim to pay them money or they would post the images on social media. The victim provided them with $6,000. Investigation ongoing. Report taken. 43900 block McDowell Creek Dr.
1:23 p.m. – Frank Vincent Nelson, 35, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for theft of services, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
8:53 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Riddle, 25, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Albany Police Department.
Feb. 18
6:15 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police responded to a noninjury crash in the 41100 block of Hwy. 228. Further details unavailable.
9:32 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office located an abandoned illegal camp on BLM land 24200 block West Brush Creek Rd. Investigation continuing.
1:31 p.m. – Eric Abril Encinas, 44, cited for driving with a suspended license, 1300 block 56th Ave.
1:47 p.m. – Corey Alan Smith, 58, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of hit and run, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
1:58 p.m. – Alysia Nicholle Bailiff, 40, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 3200 block Main St.
5:04 p.m. – Sheriff’s deputy assisted a motorist stuck in deep water and ruts near Horse Rock trailhead, West Brush Creek area.

11:57 a.m. – Caller reports three dogs running loose near 913 6th Ave. Female at location cited for dog at large.
1:11 p.m. – Female wanted to report feeling unsafe at her property in the 43100 block of North River Drive. Deputy documented her feelings, answered her questions.
2:54 p.m. – Clayton Mayfield, 43, of Foster, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, Hwy. 228/Old Holley Road.
3:26 p.m. – Caller reports he took $10 from a business on Feb. 2 and he doesn’t feel right about it and would like to speak to an officer about the situation, 1502 Long St. Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 36, cited and released for third degree robbery and third degree theft.
7:31 p.m. – Alex Michael Yoder cited for driving with a suspended license, Main Street Market.
7:42 p.m. – Harmony Jade Kalina, 40, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft, Dollar General. Also cited for no valid driver’s license and driving uninsured.
7:49 p.m. – Scott David Citro, 47, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass X3, Main Street Market.
9:28 p.m. – Leroy Doyne Brown, 45, cited and released on Benton County Circuit warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of computer crime, identity theft and attempting to commit a class C felony, Chevron.
