Trevor Alden Groff, 49, was charged Sept. 9 with first-degree theft of garden supplies, a generator and brush hog.
Stephen Jay Fletcher, 47, was sentenced Sept. 15 with one year suspension of a driver’s license, 10 days jail and 36 months bench probation based on a no contest plea to fourth-degree assault and failure to perform the duties of a driver to an injured person. A reckless driving charge was dismissed.
Brandon Ryan Freeman, 29, was sentenced Sept. 13 to 20 days jail and 18 months bench probation based on a plea of no contest to first-degree criminal trespass and harassment. A third-degree theft charge was dismissed. In a separate case, he was sentenced to revocation of a license for one year, 10 days jail and 18 months supervised probation based on a no contest plea to unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Joshua Ryan Mesna, 31, was sentenced Sept. 15 to eight days jail and 36 months supervised probation based on a plea of no contest to domestic violence fourth-degree assault.
Maitland Joseph Moore, 23, was sentenced Sept. 15 to 10 days jail and 18 months bench probation based on a plea of no contest to second-degree theft and failure to appear. Other charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and first-degree failure to appear were dismissed.
Dalton Rhys Orr, 27, was charged Sept. 19 with DUII and reckless driving.
Derrek Leo Reynolds, 54, on Sept. 18 was found not guilty of second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault.
Jeremy Grant Saulmon, 44, was placed in the diversion program after pleading guilty to DUII with a .11% BAC.
Guy Richard Tagen, 53, on Aug. 29 was found guilty except for insanity (schizoaffective disorder) on charges of second-degree assault, strangulation, menacing, second-degree criminal trespass, harassment and fourth-degree attempted assault – charges of which involved three separate female victims. He was placed under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board for 13 years, 6 months and 27 days, and was committed to the custody of the state mental hospital.
Chad Eric Von Cannon, 41, was sentenced Sept. 15 to 10 days jail, 18 months supervised probation and a $200 fine based on a no contest plea to fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. A reckless driving charge was dismissed.
Any charges against Cameron Michael Wark, 34, were dismissed with prejudice following the report of his death.

8:44 a.m – Bryce William McGowan, 39, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second degree criminal mischief and driving while suspended. McGowan was also arrested on a Albany Municipal Court warrant and a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for driving while suspended. Booked, cited, and released.
1:59 p.m – Deston McQuistion, 25, was cited for driving while suspended.

2:36 p.m – Dale Winningham, 41, of Springfield, and Lauraina Dearden, 35, of Sisters, were cited for second degree criminal trespass for illegally camping on CTC property.

10:59 a.m – Natalie Marie Deshazer, 34, was arrested for failure to comply with Linn County Circuit Court warrants for reckless burning, and three charges of contempt. Booked, cited and released.
1:06 p.m – Caller reported a hit and run at the block of 25900 Brush Creek Road. Damage valued at $200.

6:50 p.m – Kristie Burdick, 47, was arrested on third degree criminal trespass. Cited and released
8:08 p.m – Raymond Lyle Tressel, 27, was arrested for failure to comply on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second degree criminal trespass, and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. Salem.
11:09 p.m – Andrew Benton Erickson, 53, was arrested for failure to comply on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for theft in the third degree. Lebanon.

10:07 a.m – Caller reported someone sitting on railroad tracks behind Bi-Mart. Michael Anthony Bly was arrested for first degree criminal trespass. Cited and released.
6:58 p.m – Caller reported multiple unknown people having a bbq. Officer responded, contacted the owner who stated everyone is allowed to be there.

12:37 a.m – Tamara Lee Littlejohn, 44, was cited for no driver’s license and driving uninsured.
1:12 a.m – Kyle James Elmer, 32, was arrested on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, and an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. Cited and released.
5:42 a.m – Garth Hiaasen, 42, of Sweet Home was issued a citation for driving 81/55.
1:10 p.m – Joshua Scott Dawson, turned himself in on a previous Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second degree criminal mischief. Booked, cited, released.
6:27 p.m – Obediah Jermiah Teixeira, 44, was arrested for harassment. Booked, cited and released.
8:36 p.m – Colton Kendall Mckay, 27, was taken into custody for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

12:51 a.m – 22 year old Sweet Home resident hit an elk with his motorcycle, causing fatal injuries. Reported at the 36600 Block of Richardson Gap Road Scio.
4:51 a.m – Melissa Shreves, 36, was cited for a warrant.
8:10 a.m – Cody Allyn Peterson, 36, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal hit and run.
1:06 p.m – Mitch Crater, 32, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Kristi Irene Burdick, 47, of Sweet Home, was cited for allowing the illegal operation of a vehicle. 100 block of South Main Street, Brownsville.

Jake Dean Napier, 18, arrested for second degree burglary, second degree theft, and second degree criminal mischief. Unidentified, 17 year old, was arrested for second degree burglary, second degree theft, second degree criminal mischief and a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for violation of conditional release.

7:42 a.m – Jason Mckendree Jr, 29, was cited for failure to obey the right of way after a motor vehicle collision. Report taken, valued damage $2,500.
9:49 a.m – Deputy responded to a report of a theft from an AT&T tower site. A 50 ft long industrial power cable was taken. Valued loss $2,000.
1:48 p.m – Donald Ray Walkup Jr, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fourth degree assault.

6:41 p.m – David R. Patterson, 70, of Cascadia, was cited in lieu of custody for unlawful transport of special forest products and received traffic citations for no proof of insurance and expired registration.
