Circuit Court

Warrants are out on the following individuals: Samuel Frank Ayers, Andrew James Frei-tag, Aaron Thomas Halvorson, Noe Hernandez-Reyes, Bryce Taylor Keenon, Faron Walter Kennedy, Taylor Robert Mespelt, Carrie Lynne Miller, Kendra Lynne Montoya, Julianne Nicole Phillips, Tammy Lavonn Robinson, Paula Marie Lea Skyles-Lutzi, Zachary Shane Stegner, Jordan Nicole Swanson

Jock Eugene Edwards, 33, was sentenced Oct. 4 to 36 months probation and 50 days in jail based on a no-contest plea for attempting to commit a Class A felony – first-degree assault. A charge of unlawful use of a weapon was dismissed. His charge is in relation to the stabbing of 18-year-old William David Salyer-Bowen at Sankey Park on Aug. 21.

Christofer Robert Ennis, 31, was charged Sept. 20 with DUII on a .10% BAC and reckless driving. The court allowed Ennis to enter the diversion program and dismiss the reckless driving charge.

Katelyn Jo Horn, 34, was sentenced Sept. 30 to 12 months bench probation and a $100 fine based on a guilty plea of attempting to commit a Class C/unclassified felony – first-degree theft for stealing lumber from Kokanee Wood Products.

Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 29, was charged on Sept. 26 with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $2,500. He was charged on Oct. 6 in four separate cases with: unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal driving while suspended or revoked; fleeing, criminal driving while suspended or revoked, unauthorized use of a vehicle; six counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, giving false information; and unauthorized use of a vehicle, criminal driving while suspended or revoked, and failure to perform the duties of driver when property is damaged. All the UUV charges involve different cars and motorcycles on different dates.

Kylee Clay Norberg, 31, was charged Sept. 21 with felon in possession of a firearm and failure to report as a sex offender.

Tessa Marie Pimentel, 23, was sentenced Sept. 23 to 36 months probation and a $200 fine based on a no-contest plea to fourth-degree assault. A charge of second-degree assault was dismissed.

Nathaniel Joseph Wolfe Warren, 43, was charged Sept. 24 with DUII on a .17% BAC. The court allowed Warren to enter the diversion program.

Dustin Kyle Westling, 35, was sentenced Sept. 20 to 28 months with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections, 36 months post-prison supervision, $300 in fines and a charge to report as a sex offender based on a no-contest plea to unlawful contact with a child and third-degree sex abuse. Charges of harassment, third-degree sex abuse and attempting to commit a Class A misdemeanor were dismissed.

Oct. 2

8:33 a.m. – Deputy responded to Scott Creek Main Line gate to a report of an illegal camp. Found hunters who had arrived at 4 a.m. and were sleeping inside and outside a vehicle after hiking in to hunt. They were preparing to leave. Upper Berlin Drive/Crockett Lane.

6:19 p.m. – Caller reported that her 54-year-old neighbor yelled at her, then “pulled her pants down and showed her behind to her.” Asked that information be documented. 28400 block of Pleasant Valley Road.

10:47 p.m. – Larry Dean Bergstrom, 58, of Sweet Home, was cited and released on warrant, 43700 block of Wiley Creek Drive. Report taken.

Oct. 3

7:53 a.m. – Deputy patrolling Quartzville Road tagged an abandoned camp for removal. Exact location not indicated.

8:30 a.m. – Caller reported that his daughter received threatening messages from another student while at home and at school, 1600 block of Dogwood St. Report taken for harassment.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of keys from an unlocked truck, 2600 block of Jefferson St. Report taken.

9:28 a.m. – Caller reported a lost handgun in the 48300 block of Quartzville Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the caller was hiking on Quartzville Road near milepost 12 when he fell down a hill. He later realized that a Browning 1911 handgun had fallen from his holster. He went back to look for it, but could not find it. He was up on a ridge about one-third of a mile from the road. Value: $800. Report taken.

11:08 a.m. – Theft reported from a logging site in the area of Marks Ridge/North River drives. Value: $720. Under investigation. According to the Sheriff’s Office, fuel and a timber branding hammer were taken from the logging site. Value: about $240 in diesel; hammer was $300. As of press time, the hammer had been recovered after an officer spotted it in the back of a car during a traffic stop. Further details not available. Report taken.

11:16 a.m. – Caller reported the return of a male who’d been trespassed from a location, 1540 block of Main St. Justin Lee Walker, 35, was cited and released for second degree criminal trespass. Arrested for probation violation.

1:38 p.m. – Jonathan Ryan Beasley, 18, and Zachery Todd Pickle, 18, were cited and released for placing an offensive substance in waters, on highways or other property, 1100 block of Spruce St.

1:38 p.m. – Harvey Michael Kapicka, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of first- and second-degree trespass, Albany.

4:19 p.m. – Sarah Marie Holi-field, 29, was cited for driving uninsured, Coffee Hut, 2450 Main St.

7:58 p.m. – Franklin Joe Whitton, 42, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for probation violation, 1950 Main St.

Oct. 4

12:22 a.m. – Nickolas Ryan Shoulders, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.

1:11 a.m. – Warren Eric Duncan, 35, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office. 600 block of Main St.

12:41 p.m. – Jeremy Wesley Babb, 48, was cited and released for failure to register as a sex offender and on a Linn County Circuit Court cite-and-release warrant for harassment, 2400 block of Long St.

4:57 p.m. – The Sheriff’s Office assisted with a crash investigation involving a Sweet Home Police Department vehicle, 1500 block of Tamarack St. Sweet Home police were at the location for an investigation when someone backed into a patrol car. The Sheriff’s Office documented the incident for insurance purposes. Report taken.

8:49 p.m. – Caller reported a female attempting to provoke fights, Downtown Lounge, 1234 Main St. After being kicked out, she allegedly kicked the door. The unidentified 36-year-old was taken into protective custody and transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

Oct. 5

1:40 a.m. – Illegal camper told to move along, 43700 block of North River Drive.

8:12 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office, Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District personnel responded to a car fire in the 23500 block of Brush Creek Road. An investigation indicated that the 2002 Mazda pickup had been stolen from Eugene. Pickup was taken onto private timber property and set on fire. Fire officials described 15-foot flames when they arrived on scene. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

11:19 a.m. – Judge requested an officer for contempt of court, 1950 Main St. Jennifer Lynn Reddell, 30, was taken into custody.

3:12 p.m. – Linn County Search and Rescue was activated to search for a missing female on Weyerhaeuser South property in the area of Hwy. 228/Upper Calapooia Drive. As the agency prepared for the mission, the female was found at home, safe and sound. Report taken.

7:04 p.m. – Fernando Guzman, 35, was arrested on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation, 13th Ave./Kalmia St. Also cited for possession of meth misdemeanor.

Oct. 6

7:17 a.m. – Deputy patrolling around Foster Lake discovered a couch dumped in the brush at the third pullout east of Gedney Creek. Also found evidence that a vehicle had been driven on the unnumbered road across from Gedney Creek Boat Ramp. No one was found on the property.

9:48 a.m. – Luke Kenneth Dale Buehner, 38, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, 28000 block of Riggs Hill Road. Arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of a criminal citation X3, a second-degree charge X4, and contempt of court.

12:41 p.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 55, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St.

2:14 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen wallet, 1500 block of Main St. Report taken.

2:28 p.m. – Caller reported a broken window on a truck window, 4300 block of Main St. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief.

4:15 p.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 41, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

4:17 p.m. – Willa Raie Harris, 51, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

4:26 p.m. – Caller reported an unclothed male riding a mower. He was located by a deputy, who asked him to wear clothes while outside. 38400 block of Crawfordsville Drive.

5:25 p.m. – Male fled from officer, 15th Ave./Main St. Report taken for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

6:13 p.m. – Two callers reported that a neighbor repeatedly took their cats to keep them as her own pets, 1400 block of Meadowlark Lane. Report taken for first-degree theft.

8:40 p.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 32, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

Oct. 7

1:13 a.m. – Caller reported that two males stole a bottle of alcohol from 7-Eleven, 2405 Main St. Report taken for third-degree theft. Approximate value: $21.19.

8:09 a.m. – Caller reported that someone had backed into his vehicle, 1500 block of Main St. Vance Ryan Jewell, 49, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. Also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.

9:23 a.m. – Caller reported his pickup was broken into while fishing in the 45000 block of Quartzville Road. Several fish finders were stolen. Window broken out of pickup valued at $280, and fish finders valued at $8,000. Report taken.

9:36 a.m. – Aaron Paul Bostwick, 55, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of negotiating a bad check, Albany Police Department.

9:41 a.m. – Abandoned camp located at milepost 31 on Quartzville Road. Deputy will monitor.

9:55 a.m. – Deputies responded to a 911 hangup, 28700 block of Liberty Road. A 13-year-old boy, home sick from school, had accidentally called. No emergency.

11:15 a.m. – Joshua James Koenig, 21, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft, 420 block of Ironwood St. Also cited and released for third-degree theft.

12:58 p.m. – Debra Jean Stroud, 64, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for unlawfully purchasing a firearm, Oregon State Police.

1:35 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a battery from his trailer, 4100 block of Osage St. Report taken for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief.

2:45 p.m. – A phone and tablet were stolen from a work truck, 3200 block of Main St. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft.

2:46 p.m. – Daniel Keith Nam/Follett, 31, was cited and released on a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of contempt, 3500 block of Juniper St.

6:07 p.m. – Caller reported dirt bikes speeding in the 45200 block of Wiley Creek Road. Deputies were unable to arrive in time to intercept.

7:17 p.m. – Caller reported being in an altercation with two subjects, Main St./42nd Ave. One punched the caller in his face and knocked his teeth out. They were then armed with two-by-fours. Report taken.

7:45 p.m. – Kenneth Everett Henley, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for third-degree theft, Silverton Police Department.

10:30 p.m. – James Jonathan Scott Georgelis, 40, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for hit-and-run, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

10:56 p.m. – Taylor Ray Plummer, 29, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of a criminal conspiracy, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

11:12 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 26, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

11:57 p.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 46, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Clark Mill Road/Main St.

Oct. 8

12:14 a.m. – Kealalaine Pence, 40, was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, trespassing with a firearm and menacing after she allegedly pointed a .22 rifle at multiple people. 40900 block of Hwy. 228. Report taken.

2:35 a.m. – Michael Matthews, 37, of Sweet Home, was cited and released on warrants, 1100 block of 13th Ave. Report taken.

2:58 a.m. – A camper in the 43300 block of North River Drive was told to move along.

8:32 a.m. – A stop sign was reportedly cut down and stolen from the vicinity, Oak Terrace/Terrace Lane. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief.

11:42 a.m. – Deputy tagged camp near milepost 18.5 on Quartzville Road, advising occupants that they’d overstayed the 14-day limit. The camp is never occupied during daytime hours, according to the Sheriff’s log.

5:55 p.m. – Burglary of residence reported in the 26900 block of Old Holley Road. Caller reported someone broke into the house over the last few days. A $100 sleeping bag and two $20 lamps were taken. Caller is working on figuring out if more things were missing. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

Oct. 9

10:33 a.m. – Steven Kenneth Stitt, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Albany Police Department.

11:55 a.m. – A caller reported equipment missing from a truck after leaving it overnight following a return from a hunting trip the previous evening, 2500 block of Long St.

2:54 p.m. – A non-injury motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles was reported in the area of Main St./60th Ave. Brittany Reannen Carrera, 27, was cited for no valid driver’s license.

4:40 p.m. – Caller had video footage of a subject spray-painting the Elm Street Baptist Church the previous evening, 1150 Elm St.

7:53 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen from the Rio Theatre, 1439 Main St. Report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate value: $600.

8:36 p.m. – Christopher Thomas Morton, 38, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree forgery, Oregon State Police.

11:31 p.m. – David Joshua Wall, 27, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
