Anthony John Lawson, 43, was charged Nov. 10 with first-degree burglary.
Nov. 7
8:02 a.m. – Caller reported fuel stolen from a vehicle overnight, 700 block of Elm St.
10:33 a.m. – Callers reported a female crashing into a median and running, 54th Ave./Main St. Report taken; driver unknown. Clayton Mayfield, 42, was cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt.
2:18 p.m. – Deputies performed a welfare check on an elderly couple at the request of their son, who was unable to reach them. The Sheriff’s Office found the couple alive and well; they were having issues with their landline.
2:53 p.m – Caller complained about speeders and parking issues in the 41800 block of North River Drive. Sheriff’s Office to conduct extra patrols as time allows.
3:22 p.m. – Ashlee D. Flanagan, 34, of Cascadia, was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm during an investigation of unlawful theft of forest products, Hwy. 20/Moose Creek Lane. Oregon State Police investigating.
Nov. 8
9:30 a.m. – Erin McComb, 31, was cited for speeding 64/35, 4700 block of Main St.
9:42 a.m. – Deputies contacted a woman who trespassed with a vehicle on Cascade Timber Consulting property in the 45400 block of Hwy. 20. She was warned for trespass.
12:42 p.m. – Trespass in an active logging operation. An elk hunter was driving through an active operation and left when he was told. No information on the person or vehicle to be able to make contact. No further action. Milepost 3 on Wiley Creek Drive.
1:21 p.m. – Male reported losing a license plate while hunting outside Sweet Home, 1900 block of Main St. Report taken.
3:53 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifting incident at Dollar General, 1937 Main St.
3:57 p.m. – Amber Elizabeth Martinez, 34, was cited and released on a Lane County Sheriff Office warrant for probation violation, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department.
Nov. 9
2:24 a.m. – Marcus Charles Dodson, 29, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.
11:02 a.m. – Kellie Hesson, 56, was cited and released for resisting arrest and harassment and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 13th Ave./Kalmia St. Also cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, as well as harassment, resisting arrest, assault on an officer and failure to appear on original charges of a criminal citation X3 and a second-degree charge.
11:02 a.m. – A motorist ran out of gas in the national forest near Highway 20/House Rock. The Sheriff’s Office retrieved gas from town and sent her on her way.
11:53 a.m. – Deputy spoke with a caller about conducting extra patrols at his tree farm, 29500 block of Berlin Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, property owner has been having multiple issues with people trespassing and cutting locks on gate to get into tree farm.
12:37 p.m. – Caller reported a break-in at a newly constructed home, 4400 block of Osage St. Report taken for second degree-criminal trespass.
6:50 p.m. – Multiple callers report a motor vehicle crash blocking traffic, 18th Ave./Main St. Damage over $2,500. Drivers exchanged information. One vehicle towed by AA Towing, the other was towed by a private party. Clemente Tapia, 22, was cited for careless driving.
10:13 p.m. – Caller reported someone walking through a freshly poured sidewalk in front of 1439 Main St. Report taken. Unknown value of damage at this time.
Nov. 10
11:16 a.m. – James Andrew Linder, 34, was arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree theft and failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County Jail.
4:13 p.m. – Donald Rodgers, 58, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St.
4:26 p.m. – Caller reported $60 taken from a wallet, possibly by a caregiver, 5000 block of Mountain Fir St.
10:04 p.m. – Aaron Leopold Lovato, 29, was cited and released on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. Timothy Loren Ames Jr., 33, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for second-degree theft. Alexis Morgan Bowers, 22, was cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Northside Park, 1712 11th Ave.
11:11 p.m. – Michael Evan Matthews, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office. 1100 block of 12th Ave. Report taken.
Nov. 11
12:50 a.m. – Sterling Daniel Sherburn, 22, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.
11:40 a.m. – Caller from forestry company reported the building housing the Linn County Sheriff’s Office Scott Mountain repeater appeared to have been broken into through its roof. Deputy checked the site and found a blown-back section of tin roof, but it did not appear to be vandalism. Fencing around the area was intact. Further inquiry revealed that another deputy had visited the previous evening with the contractor and that the damage had been there “for a while.” 38400 block of Mountain Home Drive.
3:18 p.m. – Tanner Poff, 40, of Lebanon, cited for use of an electronic device while operating a motor vehicle. Hwy. 228/1st St., Crawfordsville.
Nov. 12
10:05 a.m. – Deputy checked on a broken-down vehicle in the area of the 46200 block of Old Hufford Drive. Its owner was attempting to get it running and removed from the area.
10:41 a.m. – Criminal mischief reported in the 29500 block of Berlin Road. Caller found metal gate had been rammed by a vehicle, bending the gate. Report taken.
3:43 p.m. – Caller reported someone hitting his pickup the previous evening, 700 block of 12th Ave. Report taken for hit-and-run.
4:27 p.m. – Caller reported a license plate stolen while parked overnight in the 52800 block of Hwy. 20, east of Cascadia. Report taken.
4:50 p.m. – Donald Terri Mohr Jr., 26, was cited for driving uninsured, parking lot, McDonald’s, 2000 Hwy. 20.
5:18 p.m. – Caller wanted to speak with a deputy about Emergency Line of Sight Communication (examples: FM radio, microwave and satellite transmission). According to the Sheriff’s Office, the caller said he felt better following the conversation. 44700 block of Quartzville Road.
9:16 p.m. – Natalie Deshazer, 33, of Sweet Home, was cited and released on two supervisory authority warrants, 40500 block of Hwy. 228/Fern Ridge Road. Warned for impeding traffic as her vehicle had mechanical issues. Report taken.
10:08 p.m. – Barbara Chelsea Martin, 32, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 2400 block of Main St.
Nov. 13
12:35 a.m. – Caller reported a verbal and possible physical disturbance, 1100 block of 12th Ave. Allen Dale Ensley, 33, was cited and released for second-degree disorderly conduct.
11:20 a.m. – Caller reported that his former significant other stole items from his trailer that he allowed her to borrow in July, 3500 block of Flannigans Road. Report taken for first-degree theft. Approximate value: $2,000.
2:18 p.m. – Hunter blocked a privately owned gate. The property owner requested the vehicle be moved. Deputy contacted its registered owner, who walked down and left the area without further incident. 28900 block of Santiam Terrace.
4:37 p.m. – Caller reported backing his trailer into a power box, 1200 block of 40th Ave. Report taken for motor vehicle crash. Estimated value of property damage: under $2,500.
6:45 p.m. – Suzanne Marie Smith, 41, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft. Cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and probation violation. Arrested on a Linn County Sheriff Office warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of possession of meth and a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for possession of meth, 3100 block of Main St.
8 p.m. – Caller reported a male leaving with a cart full of items, 1540 Main St. Report taken for third-degree theft.
