6:38 a.m. – Officer located male with meth, 900 block of 6th Ave. Loyd Everett Patten, 56, was cited and released for possession of meth.
9:16 a.m. – Leanna Smith, 36, arrested on outstanding warrants, lodged in Linn County Jail. 27200 block of High Deck Road. Report taken.
9:41 a.m. – Deputy responded to an animal complaint: peacocks were allegedly coming onto caller’s property in the 26700 block of Rowell Hill Road.
10:06 a.m. – Report taken for reckless burning, 1400 block of Nandina St.
11:15 a.m. – Caller reported a motor-vehicle crash, 15th Ave./Main St. Sheila Louise Hietala was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
11:39 a.m. – Leanna Kay Lynn Smith was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
11:54 a.m. – Caller reported a beer theft, Thriftway, 621 Main St. Benjamin Wilson Allen, 70, was cited and released for third-degree theft.
1:28 p.m. – Caller reported a shed break-in and burglary, 4600 block of Airport Lane. Report taken for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.
3:29 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office was looking into the theft of one of its trail cameras from the 43000 block of McDowell Creek Drive. Value of camera: $250. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
6:23 p.m. – Deputy contacted a female who called to report she was removed from a property where she’d been staying, 38300 block of Crawfordsville Drive, but that she wanted to retrieve some items she’d left and would leave the area without issues.
7:32 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a physical disturbance, 2300 block of Main St. Belinda Lee Anson, 52, was cited and released for harassment and third-degree criminal mischief.
8:11 p.m. – Randy Ensley, 59, of Sweet Home, was arrested following a report of a hit-and-run in the 27100 block of Rowell Hill Road. Ensley was arrested for failure to perform the duties of a driver – property damage, driving while suspended, reckless driving and tampering with evidence. According to the Sheriff’s Office, an Oldsmobile Regal drove through the front lawn at the location and hit a Jeep Wrangler parked in the driveway. Deputies searched the area, following the trail of broken parts and located Ensley, who was arrested. Ensley was also cited for driving uninsured, failure to maintain lane and failure to renew vehicle registration. Lodged in Linn County Jail for an unrelated warrant. Report taken.
March 15
12:20 a.m. – Aaron Bryce Clemmer, 43, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a weapon and possession of a firearm/dangerous weapon in a public building, Husky Field, 1012 22nd Ave. Arrested on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court and a Washington County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license. Cited on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving with a suspended license and a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court.
2:44 a.m. – Loris David Whitton, 67, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second degree criminal trespass and offensive littering, Lebanon Police Department.
4:56 a.m. – Deputy advised an individual parked in the 43700 block of North River Drive that the area was not a campground. Told to move along.
5:03 a.m. – Deputy advised an individual parked in the 44000 block of North River Drive that camping was not allowed.
1:13 p.m. – Maxwell Phillip Stachelrodt, 30, was arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany Police Department.
6:07 p.m. – Caller reported theft of a firearm valued at $350, 43700 block of North River Drive. A black 9mm Glock was stolen from the victim’s vehicle while parked at Gedney Creek Boat Ramp. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
6:10 p.m. – Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 31, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, Shea Point. Arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants, an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt, a Philomath Municipal Court warrant contempt/second-degree theft, a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of stolen vehicle, and an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation. Also arrested for third-degree robbery and second-degree theft.
March 16
4:26 a.m. – Robin David Fox III, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft of services, Albany Police Department.
7:44 a.m. – David Philip Reeder, 63, was cited and released on Corvallis Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on a public order and second-degree criminal trespass, 4900 block of Main St.
12:13 p.m. – Earl Ryan Dodge, 29, was arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, as well as second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, and offensive littering, Linn County Jail.
4:41 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the 40300 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Deputy arrived and discovered the vehicle had broken down and its operator was working on a plan to remove it.
5:12 p.m. – Caller reported that her mother was drunk and had pulled over on the side of the road in the 4100 block of Main St. The caller, who said she was scared, reported that her mother was screaming at her to get into the vehicle. Another caller reported that the initial caller was walking and freaking out, refusing to enter the vehicle. Jamie Lynn Miller, 48, was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
March 17
1:28 a.m. – Joshua Welch, 34, of Sweet Home, was cited for driving while suspended and cited and released on two Lebanon Justice Court warrants. 29700 block of Santiam Terrace Road. Report taken.
11:15 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of fuel from WPK Inc. between 3 p.m. March 16 and 5:45 a.m. March 17 in the 28800 block of Hwy. 20. A diesel fuel tank had been broken into and gas cans not belonging to the caller had been staged on the property’s edge. The caller found a diesel pump going and believed he and his staff interrupted the theft. Report taken.
2:53 p.m. – Deputy rescued a motorcycle rider who had fallen over in the mud while trying to maneuver, 24600 block of Springer Road. The bike was not damaged and its rider was given a ride.
3:30 p.m. – Austin Sater, 33, of Sweet Home, was arrested for multiple warrants, 1700 block of Foster Dam Road. Report taken.
3:34 p.m. – Leonard John Finnell, 20, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of initiating a false report, Lebanon Police Department.
5:34 p.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 30, was arrested on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for second-degree robbery, Sankey Park.
March 18
12:16 a.m. – Clarence David Lee Vogel, 22, was cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft X3, Hilltop Market, 4824 Main St.
4:16 a.m. – Austin Wayne Sater, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for criminal driving, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
10:04 a.m. Goats out walking the neighborhood in the 40400 block of Holley Heights Loop. Animal Control to make contact during business hours.
10:53 a.m. – Bobbi Jo Mariner-Stroud, 44, was cited and released on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 28000 block of Riggs Hill Road. Also arrested for fourth-degree assault, criminal trespass and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
6:22 p.m. – A single-vehicle minor injury crash was reported in the 1000 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Further details unavailable. A juvenile male, 17, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet truck when he left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a culvert in the ditch, causing the truck to roll over. The driver was uninjured and the truck was towed from the scene. No citations issued. Report taken.
8:33 p.m. – Cynthia Marie Pointer, 37, was cited for driving with a suspended license, Main Street Market, 1810 Main St.
9:15 p.m. – Rikki Nicoletee Bettelyoun, 38, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 1300 block of Clark Mill Road.
10:00 p.m. – Danielle Rene Anderson, 29, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene Police Department.
March 19
7:43 a.m. – An officer heard a gunshot but was unable to locate the source, 54th Ave./Quince St. The officer discovered information to possibly support the offense of unlawful use of a weapon. Report will be forwarded to the Linn County District Attorney for review.
10:40 a.m. – Deputy responded to a report of criminal mischief, a broken vehicle window, in the 39600 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
4:12 p.m. – Caller reported a motor-vehicle crash, 1300 block of Nandina St. Shawn Jeffery Sherrill, 54, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
4:36 p.m. – Heather Linn Thompson, 43, was cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass, and on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized use of vehicle, 1950 Main St.
