June 30

10:23 a.m. – Deputy responded to report of injured kittens that appeared to have been thrown from a moving vehicle, Hwy. 228/Crawfordsville Drive, Crawfordsville. Both were taken to veterinarian for care.

10:52 a.m. – Burglary reported in 42700 block McDowell Creek Road. Multiple guns missing. Descriptions not available. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

12:18 p.m. – Michael Branton, 47, of Lebanon, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. 44300 block North River Drive.

4:58 p.m. – Caller reports motorcycle crash, 500 block W. Holley Rd. Damage over $2,500.

5:35 p.m. – Trespass reported in 46900 block Old Hufford Drive. Deputy responded and located five individuals who were searching for a lost Apple watch. The watch was located and the individuals were advised not to return.

9:49 p.m. – Tracie Gates, 59, of Sweet Home, cited for driving without license, Hwy. 20/43rd Avenue.

11:57 p.m. – Amanda Grace Howser, 48, cited and released on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 2260 Long St.

July 1

12:30 a.m. – Caller reports a male stole her wallet, 877 14th Ave. Report taken for second-degree theft, approximate value $480.

3:30 a.m. – Chelsie Leann Baxter, 34, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, 800 block 8th Ave.

3:40 a.m. – Bryanah Paige Tranilla, 29, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

4:31 a.m. – Officer located methamphetamines in wallet found at 877 14th Ave. Item seized for evidence.

12:41 p.m. – Caller reported boat had fuel stolen, was “extremely damaged” at Edgewater Marina, 1400 block 60th Avenue. Fuel line was cut. $100 worth of gasoline had been taken. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

2:17 p.m. – Caller reports trailer stolen from 1670 53rd Ave. Value $300.

3:03 p.m. – Report taken for noninjury crash, 15th Avenue and Main Street. Over $2,500 in damage. Mckenzie Wilson, 31, cited for failure to drive within lane.

5:52 p.m. – Brent Anthony Prather, 35, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and on a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for second-degree criminal trespass, 1100 block 18th Ave.

8:44 p.m. – License plate reported stolen from motorcycle. 27900 block Liberty Road.

11:18 p.m. – Deputy responded to report of theft of backpack from unsecured vehicle in 44400 block North River Drive. Report taken.

July 2

1:18 a.m. – Billy Richardson, 56, of Sweet Home, arrested on Linn County warrant after deputy responded to report of suspicious vehicle in area of Foster Dam Road/North River Drive. Report taken.

1:44 a.m. – Two occupants sleeping in vehicle were asked to move along from no parking zone in 44700 block Quartzville Road.

11:40 a.m. – Caller reports snack shack at 3205 Long St. was broken into. Report taken for second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, and second-degree criminal mischief, approximate value $110.

11:48 a.m. – Sterling Daniel Sherburn, 23, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

1:06 p.m. – Small brush fire reported near Milepost 15.5 on Quartzville Road. Responding fire personnel suspected it was started from the water and worked its way up to the road, possibly a result of fireworks.

1:10 p.m. – Search and rescue personnel responded to aid 59-year-old male from Colorado who jumped off a ledge into Blue Pool, 59700 block Hwy. 126, and sustained serious injury. Victim was ultimately airlifted by U.S. Coast Guard helicopter and transported to hospital. Report taken.

2:12 p.m. – Caller reports her phone, ID, food stamp card, and court paperwork were stolen, 1950 Main St. Report taken for third-degree theft, approximate value $75.

2:30 p.m. – Caller reports male climbing into can trailer, 1980 Main St. Report taken for second-degree burglary.

3:07 p.m. – Kathryn Matthews, 25, of Portland, cited for no lifejacket (PFD). Daniel Bogan, 52, of Eugene, cited for no PFD. Chelsey Hoglund, 33, of Portland, cited for no PFD. Megan Garland, 48, of Albany, cited for expired tags; Peter Richard, 69, of Santa Rosa, Calif., cited for no PFD; Alejandro Esquivel, 35, of Eugene, cited twice for no fire extinguisher; Julio Ramirez, 40, of Eugene, cited three times for no boater’s education card; Curtis Martin, 22, of Albany, cited for speed restrictions; Thaddeus Tadeli, 19, of Albany, cited for no PFD and no Type IV throwable life preserver.

8:22 p.m. – Alice Jones, 56, arrested on Clackamas County Circuit Court warrant, 27900 block Riggs Hill Road. Report taken.

9:03 p.m. – Christian Michael Rogers, 28, cited and released for third-degree theft, Dollar General, 1937 Main St. Item worth $6, returned to store.

9:28 p.m. – Bike reported stolen from Sunnyside Campground, 44900 block Quartzville Road. Described as Avaton electric bicycle, black with gold accents, with bell on handlebar that looks like an eyeball, and phone holder on handlebar. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

July 3

1:43 a.m. – Caller reports catching people siphoning gas from his vehicle, 3224 Main St. Approximate loss of value $25.

11:06 a.m. – Cara Michelle Coe, 45, arrested for failure to comply with an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, Albany Police Department.

1:35 p.m. – Amy Roseanne Phillips, 27, arrested on Jackson County Circuit Court warrant for fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Cited for driving with a suspended license, driving uninsured, and expired plate, westbound Main Street/10th Avenue.

7:43 p.m. – Errin Marie Montoya, 43, cited for possession of meth, 12th Avenue and Redwood Street.

9:11 p.m. – Michelle Tonning, 46, of Lebanon, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, 28700 block Liberty Road.

9:57 p.m. – Caller reports hole in blinds and wall that appear consistent with bullet, 4860 48th Loop D. Report taken, investigation continuing.

11:02 p.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 42, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief, and on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 13th Avenue and Main Street.

11:24 p.m. – Caller reports gas was stolen, 3224 Main St. 11. Report taken for second-degree theft.

July 4

1:12 p.m. – Deputy responded to report of motor vehicle crash, Marks Ridge/Jones drives. Vehicle was gone when deputy arrived.

4:33 p.m. – Caller reports two dogs on his property, 4680 Long St. Officer responded, dogs returned to owner. Jennifer Hayes, 38, cited for dog as public nuisance.

6:59 p.m. – Deputy tagged campsite near Milepost 19.5 on Quartzville Road due to occupancy beyond time limit, and litter. Occupant will be located later, when time is available.

7:03 p.m. – Illegal campers at Boulder Creek pit on Quartzville Road advised by deputy to find legal site, per BLM standards.

9:22 p.m. – Deputy warned property owner about illegal fireworks, 38300 block Crawfordsville Drive. Deputies received/responded to multiple illegal fireworks calls during evening, including some that appeared bo be coming from boat on Foster Lake. Marine Patrol was not available at the time.

July 5

1:34 a.m. – Soudtsa Alwuqayan cited for speeding, 1000 block Main St.

6:36 a.m. – Custodian reports vandalism occurred last night, Roy Johnston Field, 3205 Long St. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree trespass.

10:23 a.m. – Caller holding an estate sale at 4104 Main St. had residence broken into and items stolen sometime in the past few days. Report taken for second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, estimated value $2,000.

11:40 a.m. – Male accused caller of stealing his spark plugs and then bit and broke open caller’s finger, 800 block Long St.

11:49 a.m. – Lester Lee Hendrix, 48, of Sweet Home, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to perform duties of driver, for driving while suspended, and cited for driving uninsured. Sandra Hendrix, 47, of Sweet Home, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving. Main Street/24th Avenue. Report taken.

12:52 p.m. – Caller reported beach bag and wallet stolen from 2400 block Foster Dam Road. Wallet valued at $1,400, including cash and contents. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

4:22 p.m. – Ray Plummer Taylor, 30, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal conspiracy, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

5:29 p.m. – Michael John Harcrow, 60, arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 1st Avenue/Main Street.

8:13 p.m. – Transients illegally camped at Foster Lake near Gedney Creek Boat Ramp advised by deputy to clean up camp and leave immediately. 44600 block North River Drive.

8:44 p.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 47, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Oregon State Police.

July 6

3:27 a.m. – Cristy Jane Cromwell, 42, cited on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft X3, and on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft, 3239 Main St. Arrested on Marion County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of meth and a Polk County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and providing false information to a police officer/reckless burning.

9:50 a.m. – Elizabeth Jones, 39, of Salem, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and careless driving, 29500 block Berlin Road.

12:59 p.m. – Caller wishes to speak to an officer in regards to a package being delivered to his previous residence and is now missing, 1243 55th Ave. 7. Report taken for first-degree theft, approximate value $1,200.

2:26 p.m. – Deputy tagged abandoned trailer at Yellowbottom Day Use Area for removal, Quartzville Road.

2:26 p.m. – Caller reports someone slashed her son’s tires, 3224 Main St. 2. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief, approximate value $100.

2:40 p.m. – Caller reports someone stole her phone from 1207 Long St. Approximate loss of value $600.

5:19 p.m. – Vehicles parked illegally at second bridge on Quartzville Road cited, 44700 block Quartzville Road.

5:37 p.m. – Drake Herb, 19, of Lebanon, cited for no PFD on Foster Lake, 43700 block North River Drive. Report taken.

6:24 p.m. – Donald Glenn Rodgers, 59, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and probation violation, 1021 Mountain View Rd. Cited for second-degree criminal trespass.

9:38 p.m. – Allen Dale Ensley, 34, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, McDonald’s, 2000 Main St.

9:48 p.m. – Caller reports female putting items into her purse, Safeway, 1540 Main St. Officer responded, contacted and trespassed female from location.

11:04 p.m. – Jordan Eric Brendle, 33, cited and released for criminal driving, 1300 block 22nd Ave.

July 7

12:46 p.m. – Tiffany Rodriguez, 40, of Molalla, cited for failure to yield when entering roadway after single-vehicle injury crash in 43000 block North River Drive.

1:44 p.m. – Family argument turned violent in 40400 block of Holley Heights Loop. According to Sheriff’s Office, adult male with autism attacked sister, punching, biting and pulling her hair. Sister declined to press charges for harassment and said she would seek medical attention on her own. She will apply for restraining order. Mother and brother were packing up to leave.

3:36 p.m. – Jacob Foxx Flentge, 18, cited for driving with suspended license and speeding 58/45 in the 6200 block of Main St.

4:27 p.m. – Robert Edward Hilliard, 53, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

5:14 p.m. – Billy Joe Richardson, 56, of Sweet Home, cited for driving while suspended, failure to carry proof of insurance, 50800 block Hwy. 20.

5:30 p.m. – Multiple vehicles cited for illegal parking at second bridge, 44700 block Quartzville Road.

7:21 p.m. – Non-injury crash reported a Pleasant Valley/Ridgeway roads. One operator cited for failure to obey traffic device. Further details unavailable. Report taken.

8:08 p.m. – Captain reports vehicle drove over barriers and into crowd, 2210 Tamarack St. Report taken, no crimes.

9:44 p.m. – Jessica Garrett, 40, of Sweet Home, cited for operating without proper lighting. Garrett was operating a 1967 Chevy with tail lights not functioning properly, 40800 block Hwy. 228.

10:07 p.m. – Danielle Rene Anderson, 29, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.

10:36 p.m. – Caller reports female has been trespassed from location and was trying to break in, 735 7th Ave. Report taken for second-degree criminal trespass.

July 8

2:18 p.m. – Matthew Gaitan, 52, of Silverton, cited for expired tags; Mary Chapman, 28, of Lebanon, cited for no personal flotation device; Danielle Bull, 45, of Sublimity, cited for no PFD on Foster Lake, 43700 block North River Drive. Report taken.

4:04 p.m. – Vehicle illegally parked at Sunnyside Park cited, 44900 block Quartzville Road.

4:43 p.m. – Jamie Elizabeth Geiger, 38, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.

7:00 p.m. – Sheriff’s Office marine patrol on Green Peter contacted three illegal boat camps, two with fires. One group packed up and left; the others decided to sleep on their boats.

7:52 p.m. – Zackery Chaney, 20, of Sweet Home, cited for driving while suspended, 1200 block 15th Avenue.

9:05 p.m. – Devin Ward, 26, of Albany, arrested for harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree escape, reckless driving and probation violation, 45900 block Hwy. 20. According to Sheriff’s Office, Ward was riding a street bike at high rates of speed and was confronted by bystanders. Ward allegedly ran and was pursued by deputies, who located him hiding in the brush after a 45-minute search. He was transported to Linn County Jail. Report taken.

July 9

10:12 a.m. – Kaleb Kimber Banta, 25, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft, third-degree escape, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass, and harassment, a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for fourth-degree assault, strangulation/menacing and unlawful possession of meth, a Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a second-degree criminal citation and second-degree theft, 4194 Osage St. Cited on Albany Municipal Court warrants for contempt of court.

2:45 p.m. – The following were cited for no lifejacket on Foster Lake, 43700 block North River Drive: Cory Ottre, 38, of Lebanon; Heather Hayes, 46, of Albany; Dennis Snegireff, 44, of Woodburn; and Grace Robinson, 61, of Albany. Will Tichenor, 32, of Lebanon, cited for expired tags. Report taken.

3:10 p.m. – Caller reported he was punched in the face by another male, 1000 block North River Drive. According to Sheriff’s Office, the incident involved an argument between the two over how one spoke to the other’s wife. No injuries. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

4:05 p.m. – Caller reports her vehicle was stolen, 1818 Fir St. Report taken for unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

9:37 p.m. – Deputy contacted illegal camper near Milepost 33 on Highway 30. He had been there the previous night, but deputy couldn’t stop. Camper packed and left.

10:09 p.m. – Oregon State Police reports dark colored pickup hauling a jet ski swerving and speeding, westbound 6000 block Main St. Tarek Naser Wanli, 24, cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
