Spencer Earl Crites, 26, was charged Jan. 9 with strangulation constituting domestic violence. Security was set at $25,000.
Zachariah Lee Davis, Sr., 33, was charged Jan. 6 with two counts of first-degree burglary, menacing constituting domestic violence, attempted fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and interference with making a report. Security was set at $20,000.
Robert Warren Day, 73, was sentenced Jan. 5 to suspension of a driver’s license for three years, 48 months bench probation, 20 days jail and $2,250 in fees and fines based on a guilty plea to DUII with a .15% BAC.
Kylee Clay Norberg, 32, was sentenced Jan. 11 to 36 months supervised probation and $400 in fines based on a no contest plea to felon in possession of a firearm and failure to report as a sex offender.
Ashley Elizabeth Price, 30, was charged Jan. 9 with second-degree assault constituting domestic violence. Security was set at $50,000.
Cameron Michael Wark, 33, was charged Jan. 12 with strangulation constituting domestic violence. Bail was set at $5,000.

Jan. 9
1 a.m. – Matthew Carl Martin, 32, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for third-degree theft, failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft and failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest, 9th Ave./Poplar St. Cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for fourth-degree assault.
2:45 a.m. – Bradley Samard, 42, of Sweet Home, was cited for driving uninsured, Main St./Holley Road.
8:31 a.m. – Caller reported someone stole and used his EBT card. After the deputy identified the person, the caller declined to press charges. 28100 of block Hwy. 20. Report taken.
1:28 p.m. – Deputy investigated an ATV trespass with U.S. Forest Service staff in the 27300 block of Moose Creek Lane. Suspects linked to adjoining property. Nobody admitted to the trespass.
3:08 p.m. – Deputy spoke with a caller about a downed fence that had been fixed. 28400 block of Pleasant Valley Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the caller wanted to document that 80 feet of her fence had fallen over. Investigation did not indicate suspicious activity other than the high winds that day.
3:36 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of three bicycles, 3100 block of Main St. Report taken for second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. Approximate value $650,.
3:40 p.m. – Caller reported that her ex told her she could pick up her vehicle but then he refused to let her take it, 2400 block of Harding St. The caller was the registered owner of the vehicle. Jennifer Lafortune, 36, was cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass.
9:13 p.m. – Caller reported a couple arguing in a vehicle, 3000 block of Main St. John Rice, 49, was cited and released on Salem warrants for driving under the influence of intoxicants and failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
10:57 p.m. – Rolando Sanchez, 24, of Lebanon, was cited for driving while suspended, North River Drive/Bennett Lane.
Jan. 10
12:37 a.m. – Michael Perry, 34, of Lebanon, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 1200 block of 12th Ave. Report taken.
9:01 a.m. – A deputy patrolling Cascade Timber Consulting, BLM land in McDowell Creek and Middle Santiam areas reported finding an illegal camp, road washout near Thistle Creek crossing. CTC responded to evaluate the road.
10:33 a.m. – Criminal mischief reported in the McDowell Creek area. A Cascade Timber Consulting gate appeared to have been rammed and bent. Report taken.
4:18 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary in the 27000 block of Scott Mountain Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the caller reported having been evicted from the property in December and leaving property behind. The caller was now reporting that the left property was stolen. Investigation continuing. Report taken.
8:53 p.m. – Sharon Minshull, 60, of Sweet Home, was cited and released on warrant, cited for driving while suspended, North River Drive/Epps Lane. Report taken.
9:57 p.m. – Cory Lawrence, 55, of Sweet Home, was cited and released on warrant, cited for driving while suspended. Foster Dam Road/Poplar St. Report taken.

12:52 a.m. – Lance Sanchez, 41, of Albany, was cited for driving while suspended, Main St./Maple Lane.
1:33 a.m. – Kyle Carter, 31, of Sweet Home, was cited for driving while suspended, Hwy. 228/Valley View Drive.
2:01 a.m. – Anthony Ensley, 40, of Newport, was cited and released on warrants after an investigation of illegal camping in 44300 block Hwy. 20. Report taken.
4:31 a.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 29, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.
7:48 a.m. – Caller reported a non-injury motor vehicle crash with damage over $2,500, 8th Ave./Elm St. Bethany Anne Pritchard, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second-degree criminal mischief.
9:36 a.m. – Caller reported a female choked by a male, 1100 block of 12th Ave. The female declined medics. Cameron Wark, 33, was arrested for strangulation and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.
1:29 p.m. – James Davis, 58, was cited for driving uninsured, Les Schwab Tire Center, 1707 Main St.
2:46 p.m. – Caller reported being attacked by her ex, 1800 block of Tamarack St. The caller had a restraining order against the suspect. Report taken for fourth-degree assault and possible restraining order violation.
7:15 p.m. – Billy Wayne Hatch Jr., 45, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license, 100 block of Main St.
Jan. 12
8:36 a.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 50, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, 1950 Main St.
1:12 p.m. – Caller reported an attempted break-in, Main Street Market, 1810 Main St. Report taken for second-degree attempted burglary and first-degree attempted criminal mischief.
4:54 p.m. – Shawn Stanley Pruitt, 50, was cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving X2, 1950 Main St.
7:13 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle “drifting” a corner of a road and hitting a power box, 18th Ave./Main St. Report taken for hit-and-run.
9:07 p.m. – Caller reported being assaulted by his ex while he was holding their child, 4800 block of Main St. Sadee Denae Overton, 27, was arrested for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
Jan. 13
12:38 a.m. – Ann-Marie Freeman, 26, of Sweet Home, was arrested on a felony parole violation warrant, failure to appear warrant, 27900 block of Liberty Road. Report taken.
11:34 a.m. – A couple illegally camped in the 44300 block of Hwy. 20 were told to remove their trailer and move on.
12:19 p.m. – Deputy investigated a Cascade Timber Consulting logging road gate that had been rammed in the 43000 block of McDowell Creek Drive. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the damage was similar to an incident reported Jan. 10. Apparently, someone tried ramming multiple gates. Gates held. Report taken.
12:20 p.m. – Roger Levern Clay, 58, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Albany Police Department.
12:26 p.m. – Michael Housworth, 32, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, 1950 Main St.
2:40 p.m. – A female juvenile, 16, was arrested for fourth-degree assault after a fight with a family member in the 39600 block of Hwy. 228. Lodged at Linn Benton Juvenile Detention Facility. Report taken.
6:32 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor-vehicle crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian, 1300 block of Tamarack St. The unidentified pedestrian was transported to a hospital. Jalayne Ann Koontz, 68, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
7:09 p.m. – Brittny Ann Gibson, 33, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft and an Albany cite-and-release warrant for contempt of court, 1950 Main St.
7:29 p.m. – Roberta Lee Griffiths, 52, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.
8:26 p.m. – Steven Dale Bergevin, 34, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft and a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 1900 block of Main St. Arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of first-degree burglary and an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for probation violation.
11:42 p.m. – Clarence David Lee Vogel, 21, was cited and released for third-degree theft, parking lot, Sweet Home Public Library, 1101 13th Ave.
11:51 p.m. – Marshall Thompson, 42, of Albany, was cited for driving while suspended, 1000 block of Long St.
Jan. 14
12:11 a.m. – Nick Nelson, 38, of Sweet Home, was arrested for DUII, reckless driving and contempt of court, 27600 block of Hwy. 20. Cited for DUII refusal and speeding, allegedly in excess of 100 mph.
8:57 a.m. – Caller expressed concerns about a male on his property in the 43000 block of North River Drive, whom he had not seen recently. An investigation determined that the male was incarcerated at Linn County Jail.
12:32 p.m. – Caller reported people claiming to be the landlords of a property in the 1800 block of Grape Loop. However, this was not accurate, and she wanted them trespassed. An officer responded; while out, the officer located a male. Shawn C. Bland was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to report as a sex offender.
1:11 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a snowboard from the 25400 block of Crescent Hill Road. Investigation continuing. The snowboard, of unknown make and model, was stolen overnight from their front porch. The item was dark navy blue in color with a picture of a clown on top of the world and valued at $600.Report taken.
1:27 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a John Deere Gator, a Cabela’s 4,000-watt generator, a Husqvarna chainsaw, an orange skilsaw, a car battery and a gray tool box with tools from a Conex storage box, 29500 block of Berlin Road. Locks were cut. Total estimated loss: $11,750. Report taken.
2:14 p.m. – Dakota Matthew Miranda, 22, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession, 1600 block of Cedar St.
2:41 p.m. – Caller reported being stuck behind a Cascade Timber Consulting gate in the area of Quartzville Road/Old Hufford Drive. A deputy determined that the caller just needed to drive 200 feet behind to reach the main road. No further action.
3:07 p.m. – Daniel Raymond Nofziger, 40, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
4:09 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle vandalization, 1300 block of 45th Ave. Report taken for second-degree criminal mischief. Approximate damage: $400.
4:36 p.m. – Caller reported someone using his parents’ credit card and cleaning out their bank account, 800 block of Cedar St. Report taken for first-degree theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. Approximate value: $1,200.
4:40 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen plastic bag of belongings, 1500 block of Main St. Report taken for third-degree theft. Approximate value: $27.
8:44 p.m. – Caller reported a male punching a juvenile in the mouth during an ongoing verbal disturbance, 4200 block of Main St. Larry Mack Gaskey, 67, was cited and released for fourth-degree assault and harassment.
9:33 p.m. – Eric Anthony Kurz, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, Corvallis Police Department.
9:36 p.m. – An illegal camper was told to move along from the Wiley Park Boat Ramp access road.
10:20 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of fir rounds valued at $500 from a location in the 49600 block of Hwy. 20, Cascadia. Report taken.
10:53 p.m. – An officer seized alcohol during a traffic stop, 5600 block of Main St. Kealie Kallai, 19, was cited for failure to carry proof of insurance and failure to register a vehicle.
Jan. 15
5:48 a.m. – Joseph William Farmer, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.
12:06 p.m. – Caller reported a shop break-in and requested that an officer contact him by phone, 1400 block of 42nd Ave. Report taken for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft (approximate value $500) and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle that occurred with the truck parked inside the shop.
2:32 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of his wheelchair battery by two males, 4000 block of Osage St. Report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate value: $120.
11:04 p.m. – A caller reported that her husband was at a residence destroying the house and that he also threw glass at and pushed her, 1000 block of Elm St. Brian Edward Courtright, 39, was arrested for violation of release agreement and on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of menacing.
